Unfortunately I will be a LIW for at least the next year, my bf and love of my life lives in Seattle and I am stuck here in MN! Next January he will be moving here to be with me but no sooner due to finances. And well I don't expect he will be proposing until he has been here for atleast a year. But we do know that we hold a long future together and one day that ering will come

However, on a different subject (must go find threads or start a new one) I have 2 years to figure out how to get him to get me the ring I want cause I am going to be an expert by then and picky picky hehehehehe

i''ve been around for a while, following everyone''s stories...taking everyone''s advice when i feel like i''m in the same situations...so i decided it''s time to finally be on the list!

very quick background: my boyfriend and i have been together for a year and a half or so, but were best friends for about five years before that (classic boy/girl next door story, he''s my neighbor lol). luckily i''m in a much better position than i was a couple months ago as far as this whole "lady in waiting" thing goes. we''ve known that we would get engaged for a long time now, but it''s more a matter of waiting until he feels completey comfortable announcing it to everyone and waiting until it''s closer to the time that we''ll be together again (long distance - we''re on opposite sides of the country

). We''ve talked about it and both seem to understand each other''s opinons well, and we decided on a timeline after i saw how much it seemed to help some of the girls here, which is before july 1. so only five or so months to go...but it can be long sometimes! anyway, it''s nice to officially meet all of you!
