Thanks mela! I always meant to tell you that on my way home from work I pass a restaurant named "Mela's". Everytime I pass it, I think about you and wonder if that is your real name. But I think it's your dogs name, no?Date: 4/9/2009 10:40:36 AM

Aww. That''s sweet! Mela is my doggie. Mela means ''apple'' in Italian. ''Lu'' is her middle name, which is in honour of my late grandmother Luigia.
Ironically, we have an Indian restaurant called ''Mela''. Apparently, it means ''gathering'' or ''to meet'', and has become a term referring to a celebration of all things Asian (music, dance, food and fashion). Is your restaurant Indian or Asian?
My real name is Italian too. We''re want to name our kids with Italian based names to continue the tradition. Especially if it''s a girl. That way, no matter who she marries (and changes her surname) she''ll retain a bit of her Italian heritage.

InLuv - your chart rocks the party that rocks the body! It''s nice to see some charts again!
Come to think of it, I think we have a restaurant named Mela too! It''s Indian. I love the idea of reflecting ethnic heritage in a first name, especially for a girl. Our favorite girl name happens to be French and I''m half French-Canuck, although I think the choice was totally subconscious.
Oui! And even my dad was born in the States (Manchester, NH or Manchattan/Manch-Vegas) so TECHNICALLY it''s just the heritage.Date: 4/9/2009 1:36:11 PM

You are? NICE!!! I''m Canadian (100% Italian, but was born in Canada). But you''re in the States, right?
One of my ''top'' middlenames for our little girl is French: ''Soleil''. This is solely based on the fact that I like the name, and loved Soleil Moon Frye as a little girl
You should DEF consider a French name / middlename for your future LO! French names are so beautiful.
Hahahahahaha! Festy you made me laugh out loud...I''m getting weird looks now, thanks!Date: 4/9/2009 1:30:42 PM

Thinking of you Fisher...
I think that I mentioned somewhere back a couple of posts that while this cycle would no longer require an immaculate conception, it would be something of a long shot. Well, there will be no miracles here. Though the pangs of disappointment are more dull this month, they are still there.
I''m sorry to hear that. The test was so quick and easy. I really hope it''s the answer for you!Date: 4/10/2009 10:19:06 AM

Right now, I just want answers. Guess I''ll be needing that HSG afterall.
Ugh - so frustrating! Yeah, I'm hopeful (but not, that hopeful - if you know what i mean). I try not to get too excited considering this is cycle 10 for us. Thanks for rooting for me.Date: 4/10/2009 11:16:11 AM
