LAILA!! OMG!! CONGRATS!!

36.gif

Wish you a happy and healthy 9 months!!!!

((((LV)))) I hope the next cycle works for you!

Laila - mega congratulations!!

Plantation - you know, the best Mexican food I ever had was in Switzerland (although maybe the multiple rounds of tequila shots had something to do with it!) Margaritas are amazing, aren''t they? DH and I had such fun last night! Sometimes amidst the TTC process we forget how much fun we have together. Damn whatever Eva says (I''m still on "Low"), we''re gonna BD tonight
10.gif

DH and I are planning a beach holiday (I think I mentioned it before) to Turks in late July
36.gif
I hope to have a little bean by then but, if not, we will be enjoying tropical drinks poolside
5.gif

Krissie, what a sweet thing to say about your DH! Have fun
31.gif

In a hurry, but hope everyone is well! Not much going on here, my chart is SUPER weird right now. Temp went way up this AM, and I think I had watery CM yesterday am, but wtf? I am only CD 8. My cute DH is so excited, which makes me
30.gif
30.gif
30.gif
This morning he found Babysteals all on his own! He knows me well, hahaha, I am a deal fiend.

Bliss, is AF here?

Hey Ladies,

Happy Friday! We finally made it to the end of the work week, woohoo! Sounds like some good vibes coming from the TTC ladies.

Bella: Sorry to hear that AF is being such a B but I think she is just jealous that she just keeps loosing the battle to more and more ladies on here. But don''t worry, we will get her yet!
2.gif

Laila: What an adorable way to tell DH. Shame on him for making you wait to long, lol. Congrats again and do keep us updated
21.gif

Po: Sounds like it might be prime time for you. Here is good luck for your Bd''ing and catching an eggie
2.gif

Ryan Claire: Glad to see you back in these parts. I am also happy that you have found some peace with the whole process. I hope that the TCM is just the ticket for you and helps you get your BFP. Good luck with everything!

LV: I am sorry about the cyst situation, but sometime I guess your body knows what you really want/need. And you never know, maybe you will get lucky au natural. As for the next couple weeks, go crazy girl and get colored, coffeed, tipsy and enjoy it all
31.gif

Caitlin: Good luck with the next go round. I didn''t get a chance to read up on the the issue, but I hope that the IUI will be able to prevail over any morph problems. I also hope that you O after you get back from trip so that you can take advantage of it! Best wishes and lots of dust to you!

Plantationcatt: Hello there lady. Thanks for checking in. We did yesterday just for fun, but I think we are going to get down Barry White-style this weekend
31.gif
I hope that you are able to catch your O and have lots of fun doing it...giggle, giggle...
12.gif
. And so exciting about the new puppy (I call all dogs puppy, regardless of age). I am lusting over a puppy but my DH doesn''t want to get one until we get a house. IMO it would be better to have the dog b/4 the baby b/c then you can train it, etc without having to worry about potty training a LO at the same time, lol. PS Try some tylenol for the pain. Other than that, consider it one more wonderful sympton of being a woman
11.gif

Houie: Good luck with your BD''ing marathon and catching that egg
9.gif
. Hopefully you will be in the 2WW by Monday!

Krissie: Best of luck with your BD''ing marathon too. All I can say is there is going to be fun had by all this weekend
3.gif
.
I am so jealous of your beach vaca to the Turks. I
30.gif
the Turks! Where you staying?

Miscka: Sorry about the wacky CM. I would definitely stick with the temp readings, b/c sometimes CM can be deceiving. What is your normal cycle and O days? Just in case though, I would partake in a bit of BD''ing tonight...
2.gif
. Hopefully you will get some clarity in the next day or two with regards to your wacky cycle.

Has anyone heard from Brightlight lately? If you are trolling, I hope that all is well and feel free to pop in anytime!
35.gif

*****
As for me, I am CD 10 and thinking to start my BD''ing marathon this evening. I took an OPK this morning, and it was negative. I have a fade in pattern on OPK''s though, and by the looks of it, I am going to guess that I should get a positve in the next 2-3 days. Fingers crossed. Either way, we are going to have some fun this weekend
9.gif

Enjoy your weekends everyone and have fun in whatever you do!

I wanted to share my chart since it is my first O cycle!!! So proud and still excited that it happened!!! We need to share more charts around here. It says I O''d on Sat the 3rd, but I think I really did a day before. Because I think that maybe that Fri temp was a fluke, and bc of the Ovidrel. Happy Friday!!! Maybe we could institute a CPF (chart pic Friday) for the TTCers! Preggo thread and moms threads have pics on Friday...why can''t we?
37.gif

LV -- glad to hear your decision was decided for you (if that makes sense)

And I don''t have much time to write out a whole post, but hello everyone!!!
35.gif

laniesgoodchart.JPG

Lanie, killer chart! Looks great!
36.gif
It shows a clear ovulation.

Thanks to fiery, caitlin, plantationcatt, HOUMed, dreamer, cara, lucy, Krissie, and dcgator!

Today is 4w 5d and am feeling good!

Because I used to love reading about everyone's BFP symptoms, here were mine: nothing really major, except some slight twinges and an achy feeling in my abdominal area, and a majorly bloated feeling. I told DH it felt like I ate a HUGE Thanksgiving feast and was stuffed, all the time. No real sore boobs except slightly on the sides. Everyone always mentions implantation bleeding/spotting, but I didn't have any.

**DUST** to everyone in the 2ww.

Oh wow...congrats Lailia
Lots of sticky dust to you.
Hope you have a smooth and uneventful 9 months.
I didn''t have any symptoms too.....except for the lack of AF.

LV
Glad that decision is made for you ^.^
Like someone said, maybe you''d have your BFP au naturale.
Fingers and major dust for you.

Bliss
Any annoucement? ^.^

Lanie

36.gif
for ovulation!
Hope this cycle is it for you.

Hey Ladies!!!! Oh, Laila! Still beaming over here for your good news!!!
36.gif

Ahhhh, Aunt Flo is a fickle lady! She's apparently tired of Sergio and Mandango. And I'm feeling pretty bloated and miserable waiting for her to visit.
14.gif
Hope she comes swiftly! DH says I should go see a doc because my stomach has been hurting (not lower abdominal cramps but actual stomach aches!) for the past few days. I wonder if I ate something bad? Maybe I picked up a bug in Mexico. We both suffered some stomach problems from our adventurous palates. Ha! It was soooo worth it, though! Maybe it's AF coming on, though... GAH! As soon as CD1 starts, I'm going to have to Amazon a new Eva! Eva 2.0!!! I'm excited to see what a cycle with Eva looks like!

AF! I'm ready for you, lady! Quit playin' and get on over here!!!
31.gif
I've got my AF arsenal of pads, pons and granny undies! Very sexshi. Ha!

Tons of dust and love to you all! Ohhhhhhhhh, I feel that there will be many more BFPs to come this month!!!!

Lanie, ooooh lookin'' good!

Bliss, maybe AF is just toying with your emotions like Sergio. What a wench! Well, rock those granny panties and lounge on the couch with some gossip mags - that''s what I do, anyway! I hope your belly feels better soon!

DC, the BD marathon has begun! Eva gave me a "High" so we got to try out Pre-Seed and everything (DH''s initial reaction: "Oh. OH! Wow, it''s really slippery!" @@ lol! At least the weather has calmed down - I can''t imagine BD in the 90 degree temps DC had lately; it''s so pleasantly cool outside!

Can you guys explain Eva
34.gif

Bliss, maybe POAS????

Bliss, maybe POAS????
Hey Miscka! And all my fav ladies!!! Just wanted to pop in and tell you about Eva!

Eva is the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor (CBFM or CBEFM)... we just started calling her Eva bc she looks like Eva from Wall-E!!!!

Ahhh, I''m out this month. I know it. My temps dropped and everything! I''m a BFN machine so I''m just waiting for AF to come and kick by tushie!

Hugs & love... lots of dust to our ladies in the 2WW!!!!

35.gif
Hi everyone!

Crazy week for me. The new job is great but I am tired and it''s been a long week with our travel snafu on Monday, new job on Tuesday, and classes. I have to do taxes this weekend
14.gif
and somehow teach myself stats b/c my professor majorly sucks! Plus, oh yeah, Bliss, AF isn''t hanging with you b/c she''s enjoying the party at my place too much
20.gif

CD2 here. Feeling much more chill about the TTC process which is good
2.gif
We''re just going to relax and have fun this month (though I don''t think I''ll kick my mid cycle OPK addiction
2.gif
)

DH has sleep apnea which he is finally going to get treated

He''s put this off (getting an official diagnosis and treatment) every since I have known him, so I am so excited that it is a priority for him!

Laila-b/c I am totally scatterbrained, I can''t remember if this was you or someone else, but were you the one who started the thread on laptop use? If so, did you decrease your use before you got pregnant?

I am too tired to catch-up with everyone but know taht I am thinking about you and hope that there are many April BFPs...we''re off to a great start!!!!!!!

Bella, YES! That was me. I was grasping at straws, trying to find out what could have been the cause of my 'unexplained' infertility. Incidentally, I did decrease my laptop use, and I stopped resting/propping it on my stomach when I use it. Coincidence or not? Who knows?

Lili
, thank you! And Bliss, thanks again. :) You are so funny!

Finally time to catch up with the wonderland of TTC..

First, Congrats Laila!!! I knew we would have some more December babies
36.gif
36.gif
36.gif
Wonderful news. Come join us in the barely preggo thread, if you like.

Lanie- Love love love that chart for you. If this is not the cycle for you (fingers crossed that it is!), at least now you know what DOES work for your body. And that knowledge certainly is powerful and has to get you knocked up ASAP!

Bella- Congrats on the new semi-relaxed attitude
2.gif
I''m so glad you two had such a wonderful vacay. And GOOD FOR HUBBY! on getting his sleep apnea treated. People truly don''t realize how serious this is, leading to hypertension and heart disease among many others.

LV- Sorry this was not the cycle. I was soooo optimistic for you, too. The disappointment is.. UGH.

Fishie- Your name choices are beautiful and so fitting for your babies. Even though TTC thread stresses you out sometimes, please know that we are all thinking of you and hoping for your little one to grace us all with her presence.

HMG- Thinking of you girlie girl! Hope the marathon is going well
9.gif

Bliss- It''s so not over until AF (jerk that she is!) sings. I''m still keeping up hope for you.

Krissie- How fabulous about your July Turks trip. Ahh that sounds wonderful..
30.gif

Mischka- How cute your DH is! I''m definitely a deal-finding girl myself. Can''t wait until it''s officially time to start buying things for the baby. We actually have a savings account for buying things for the kid
3.gif

dc- Get busy girl

-----------------------------

I am (I think! really need a dating ultrasound hehe) 6 weeks today. First appt is Monday. I''ll see if I can talk them into an ultrasound since I have irregular cycles and am just guessing due date on when I think O occurred.

HH and taovandel, thanks for your input on bloody noses. It looks like mine were caused by allergies, as HH suggested. I find the varied symptoms women can have when they first get pregnant so interesting. Makes it difficult to determine what''s caused by what, though!

Thanks Laila, I am going to try to decrease my usage and keep it off my abdomen and thighs this cycle to see if it makes a difference b/c I''ve noticed that my useage has gone way up in the past few months...

Bliss, I''m with you this month. I think AF will arrive tonight or tomorrow. Maybe she''ll let me enjoy the weekend and won''t show her ugly face til Monday.

35.gif
everyone, and I hope you''re all enjoying your weekends (I know those BDing are!) ,

Sorry for the me me me post, but I''m going shopping and need some pointers...

10mIU pregnancy test

or

20mIU pregnancy test

or

25mIU pregnancy test (fancy!)

and

ovulation test

Are the 10mIU tests a waste of money? Do they tend to give false positives? The 20mIU are slightly more expensive but if the former give false positives that hardly makes them cost effective
33.gif

And are those ovulation tests ones to go for?

Thanks for the help ladies.

steel/steal, I would get the 20, but I havent ever heard about the 10. Everything I have seen says 20 is on the early side. Hopefully someone else knows more!

Has anyone here watched "Love Story"? I just did, and it scared me! Wrong time, as DH is finishing law school and we are TTC...a little too parallel for my taste, ugh!

Hope you guys are all busy makin babies!!!

Yes...recommendations for pregnancy test brands would be awesome. I''m overwhelmed at the selection.

I LOVE love story!!!!! I''ve read the book more times than I can count. It makes me cry evry single time. Sure, its sad, but its just so good!

Oh, and as for tests, I only had experience with clear blue easy. There were three in the box, and really easy to read.

Krissie: Ooooh your trip sounds like fun!! I hope you have a little bean by then too, and if you do, you can still enjoy non-alcoholic tropical beverages on the beach!! ;) So did you guys like the PreSeed? We used it when I got preggo last time, and I remember that lots of ladies who have graduated successfully from this thread had used it the cycle they got preggo too....we''re using it again this time in hopes that it works its magic!

Miscka: I think I''ve had fertile quality CM as early as CD 8 before...maybe you''re gearing up for an early O this month?? Not sure why your temp would be up on CD though...would be awfully early to have O''ed already.

dcgator: Thank you my dear! We did a good job, I think...and yup, I''m officially in the 2ww as of today! :) See below for details...

Lanie, that''s a beauuuutiful chart!!!

36.gif
36.gif
36.gif
GOOOOD LUCK! I am sooo keeping my fingers crossed for you!! AND I love your idea for "chart pic friday"....we should totally do that!!

Laila, so glad to hear you''re preggo and feeling good! Hopefully more than a couple of us will be joining you soooooon!! :)

Bliss, LMAO at your arsenal of pads, pons, and granny panties!! hehehe!!! love it!! I hope she hurries up and comes so you can move on to the next cycle!

Bella - hello friend! Tell that AF that she''s overstayed her welcome at your house and send her to Bliss''s place! Glad to hear you''re enjoying your new job! And that your hubs is taking care of himself. :)

IceKid - I will keep my fingers crossed that they US you on Monday! Just tell them that you''re REALLY NOT SURE about your dates....that oughta convince them.

31.gif

Steal and PlantationCatt - Preggo test recommendations: First Response Early Response tests are extremely sensitive. I got my 9dpo BFP on one of those, and when I was tracking my betas back down after my miscarriage, I was still getting BFP''s when I know my level was 9 (because I had it checked at my dr''s office and still had a BFP on a FRER test that same day). I bought some internet cheapies that were supposed to be 20 miu''s sensitive, and they were not near as sensitive as the FRER''s. I will be using the FRER''s again this month when it''s time to test!!

------------------------------------------------------

So I would love to share my chart (even though it''s Saturday, we can pretend like it''s still Friday) for Lanie''s suggested "chart pic Friday", but I''m at work and can''t do it on a work computer. So I''ll have to post it tomorrow.

I''m excited because my temp went up this a.m., so it would seem that I O''ed yesterday! I suspected that I did, given my positive OPK''s yesterday and the day before, as well as the crampy mittelshmirtz pains I had last night. Our schedule ended up being O-4, O-2, O-1, and O day, which is similar to the cycle when I got preggo, AND we used PreSeed again, so I''m hopeful!

And get this...this is so cool. If I AM preggo this cycle, my due date based on my O day would be New Year''s Eve! How fun is that?!

I don''t wanna get too excited yet, but it''s just so fun to be trying again. :) I''m sure I''ll be kinda sad if this month isn''t it, but I''m really excited for now!
9.gif

I think I spelled it wrong...Google to the rescue...apparently it''s "mittelschmerz"
9.gif

HouMedGirl: Congrats on your O! I hope that the 2WW is blissfully fast and that good news awaits you at the end
9.gif

DC: We think we are going to stay at the Gansevoort in Turks - it's on Grace Bay, on a fairly secluded bit of beach. I think we'll book the hotel next week
36.gif

I'm CD 16 and Eva gave me a PEAK! this morning! I think I'll probably O later today or tomorrow. No EWCM (again) but I seemed a bit watery last night. We tried to BD last night but were too tired after a day of gardening; but we BD this morning and will try again tonight and tomorrow night
31.gif

The first time we used Preseed I used the recommended 3 mg amount, and it was too slippery! Poor DH
28.gif
When we DTD this morning, we used 2 mg and that was much better. Since I don't produce EWCM, I hope this does the trick! C"mon NEW YEARS BABIES!

DH was very cute this morning - after church, he suggested we light a candle for a sperm and a candle for an egg, so that they can meet this month. Ok, I thought it was hilarious
9.gif

Edited to add: Am I sabotaging things by having a couple of beers today? We're grilling out and I'm wondering whether this will have a deleterious effect on conception later today or tomorrow?!

Krissie, relax and have a few beers. I actually had a few Coronas on the day I conceived. Maybe they helped.
31.gif

Krissie: Thanks girl! BTW, no worries about having a couple beers. The baby doesn''t share a blood supply with you until it''s well implanted, and as far as I know, having a couple drinks should NOT effect the likelihood of sperm meeting egg. If that was the case, there would probably be a LOT less unplannd pregnancies in this world!
31.gif

-------------------

Ok ladies, I need some opinions....I''m going to share my chart (a little late for chart pic Friday) and I want to know what you gals think. Here''s the deal...I had a positive OPK on CD 14, but it was with FMU and I have since read that it could be a false + (because the urine may have been so concentrated that the test was positive even though the LH surge wasn''t high enough to trigger O). I had a negative later that afternoon, as well a couple negatives on CD 15, but then had positives on the afternoons of CD16 and CD17. The one on CD17 was the darkest of all, and the one on CD16 was darker than the one on CD14.

So if I put the 2 positive OPK''s into my chart from CD16 and 17, FF doesn''t give me crosshairs yet (but will put O on CD 17 after I enter one more elevated temp...I tried it. hehe). If I add the positive from CD 14 in, FF gives me crosshairs and says I O''ed on CD 15. If I take all the OPK results off the chart and just go on temps and CM alone, it says CD15 too.

FWIW, Ovusoft software also says CD15, but *I* think it was 17 based on the OPK''s and how I felt that day.

So I''m posting my chart both ways, and I wanna know what your vote is....O on CD15, or O on CD17??

Here''s the chart that for CD15:

Ocd15.png

And now, O on CD 17 (I entered a temp for tomorrow morning as the same temp I had today, just for the sake of getting FF to give me crosshairs so you guys could see it better...)

Whaddaya think??

Ocd17withcrosshairs.png

Hou, I''m no expert but I say you O''d on the CD15. In theory, you shouldn''t POAS after you get a positive OPK and that, for sure, points to O on the CD15. It looks like you have all of your bases covered with your BD pattern anyway. I also went back and looked at your chart from October and you look like you have two higher temps pre-o then too and, post-O, you don''t hover that close to the coverline. I know your body can change post-MC but I''m going with CD15 based on my very scientific research.
