Lizzy, congratulations that is awesome news! I am so happy for you! You are going to make a great Mommy! Thank you for keeping us informed on the IVF process. I have a feeling I will be going down that road or IUI at a minimum.
Prana, I'm on CD 5 over here so no TWW yet. But, I'm fine with it. This was my 1st cycle post MC so I was not expecting much. We just started seeing an RE so I'm in the early testing phases to see what's going on. We have been TTC since March with the one pregnancy in August which lasted about 10 weeks until early October. I had low progesterone during the pregnancy and I think my TSH/thyroid levels also may have been a factor. Your chart looks great - I think this may be it for you! Test, test, test!
Bright, my mistake - I am on a Clomid Challenge and you are doing the full blown IUI. Good luck to you - so exciting! We can still be Clomid buddies. So far, no side effects. The nurse told me to take it at night as sometimes it causes headaches. So, I started on Saturday night and I am on Day 3 today. I have to go in for more bloodwork on Thursday and then a Sono and more bloodwork on Monday. They are just going to get an idea of my ovarian reserve I think - see if I am AMA/egg challenged. They did say this could help with natural conception this cycle so we'll see. No news on the genetic testing yet. I left another message today with the obgyn as I received a bill today from Pathology dated 11/21. I called the pathology doctor's office to get the results, and they told me I have to get the results from my obgyn. Did I tell you I am switching OBs? I already got a recommendation from my RE. I am going to just wait on the HSG as I work from home, and I don't want to have another awkward doctor's appointment while the inlaws are here - I already have 2 in less than a week coming up while they are in town.

Also, on your Graves question previously, I was diagnosed with Graves in 2007 but never took medicine or had treatment as I had no major symptoms other than a hand tremor. In about a year, it went into unexplained remission and my TSH levels were normal. Recently, my TSH was 2 (high end of normal) in July and then 3.2 (higher end of normal but not ideal for pregnancy) in September. So, I went to see an Endo last week, and I am expecting to possibly go on a hypothyroid medicine after my doctor calls back with the blood results.

Hi again ladies! I'm officially joining for real this time!
DH and myself just got back from an awesome 5 week holiday in the US, and I'm off the pill as of now! EEK. We're just going to take things pretty casually for a while, ie no charting/temping etc. I might cave and buy an OPK though. I've started taking folid acid (I tried a multi vitamin but could NOT keep the dang thind down, did anyone else have that problem?!) and am looking forward to this new journey with you all!

Okay, okay. I woke up this morning, my temps were still high, so I broke down and tested (I bought some last night on my way home from work).
It was a BFN Not even a hint of a line. My boobs stopped hurting this morning. AF still doesn't feel like it's anywhere near. I don't understand! PMS is just showing me all the ways it can present itself, I guess. I need some major retail therapy today.

AF is not due until this weekend, and I don’t think I will test before then. To answer your question, no, I didn’t have any bloodwork this cycle. It doesn’t sound like you’re doing the clomid challenge either because you are planning to do an IUI. Also I wouldn’t think you need to worry about OPKs this month if you are getting ultrasounds and a trigger, since the trigger will be inducing ovulation. Exciting for you this month!

Dandi, welcome!! Have you tried gummy vitamins (even the kid ones)? You can also get just a straight folic acid supplement from your local drug store, which is (from what I know) the most crucial part pre-conception wise.

JGator, thanks for the info on your Graves. Mine was minor and controlled until my MC, and then things got wacky. I have bloodwork this weekend, so we’ll see how it goes. I am tolerating the antithyroids just fine and I’ve done a lot of research on the drugs and being pregnant. The overriding expert opinion is that the benefits of the meds outweigh the dangers, and that the danger of being unmedicated is much worse than potential side effects of the meds. Sorry to hear you’re swinging hypo – the thyroid is so darn important but so darn pesky at the same time. Very frustrating. My doc did warn about me swinging hypo on the meds too, but we started at a very low dose and will creep up. Keep me posted – it’s nice to have a thyroid buddy around here!
Bright, how’s the Clomid going? So if you’re done with the IUI before Dec 20th, potentially a BFP before the New Year?? That would be GREAT! Hope your cold is feeling better soon!

Thanks for asking about my cold. It seems to be doing better, though my performance yesterday was a bit huskier than I would've liked. So far so good on the clomid. The only weird thing is I'm getting very hot at night (I take it before bed). Everything else ok. I sure would love a bfp before new years but don't want to get my hopes too high.

doing that. It's kind of nice not to worry about when I'll o though. I just hope I'm responding to the clomid. I guess I'll have to wait & see.
Jgator, I'm glad you're tolerating the clomid well. Have you noticed getting hotter than usual at night? I'm taking mine before bed & have woken up a couple of nights very warm (not usual for me) but other than that I'm doing fine. That's really irritating that you got the bill before you got the test results! I hope you get the results soon. Have you been to see your new ob? I hope you like him/her.
Also good luck with the inlaws. That's great that you guys get along well! And good call holding off on too many appointments when they're in town. Any news on the car front?
Afm, 2 more days of clomid for me, then follow up ultrasound on monday. So far so good except for the warm nights. I'm still adjusting to the metformin so very grateful that I didn't have crazy side effects from the clomid (knock on wood). I have an appointment with a dermatologist tomorrow to see if he has any different ideas/suggestions on the hair situation. And I desperately need to start my holiday shopping! I haven't been focused on it at all this year. Anyone have fun gift ideas to share?

I'm back! Thank you all so much for the well wishes. It's nice to know I was missed!! The wedding and cruise were amazing. Everything pretty much went off without the hitch. I don't have many pictures yet but I knew I couldn't come back empty handed, so here's one:
He had something blow into his eyes, but it totally looks like he's thinking "what have I done." Love it.
And for more news, remember my to test/to not test debate? Well, I ended up packing 3 FRERs (at DH's urging). And I'm GLAD I did. At 9DPO I decided to test just because we were going to an all you can drink/eat beach resort in Cozumel. I fully expected a BFN since I was so early, but wanted to be responsible before a drinking binge. Here's what I got:
I couldn't believe it. It was so dark for being only 9DPO. I was still concerned because of my chemical pregnancy last month, but this test was already so much darker than my tests from last month. I've been testing since then and the lines are looking great:
We are so happy and feel so blessed and lucky to be able to get pregnant so easily. I told my bff/maid of honor the morning I found out and her response was "how are you guys so fertile?". Ha. Really praying this one sticks, but I am very much reassured by how dark the lines are getting. My first appt is 12/27, so I don't have to wait too much longer to see the little bean.

Bright and China, thanks so much for your kind words. It meant more than you know on a day when I’m feeling a little down in the dumps. I think I didn’t realize how hopeful I was for this cycle until yesterday, and now I just feel in my gut that it’s not going to be my month. I just feel like I am going to know or sense when I finally am pregnant, and right now I just feel like my normal 3-4 days pre-AF self. No extra cm or any other symptoms except for those darn sore nipples courtesy of clomid, and I’ve had those since ovulation day, so I know they are not pregnancy-related. Anyway, means a lot to have the support from people I don’t even know.

I did cave and test this morning at 9 DPO but I knew it would be negative before I even dipped it because I was stupidly thirsty so my urine was almost clear this morning. I don't even know why I took the darn thing. I'm definitely not giving up though until my temp drops! Last month my period came at 10 DPO, so we'll find out soon, just not soon enough for me!!!

I'm definitely not giving up though until my temp drops! Last month my period came at 10 DPO, so we'll find out soon, just not soon enough for me!!!

Mp, I'm so sorry you're feeling down. Hugs. This can be such a tough road. Especially since we have some help now it's easy to get hopes up. But there are lots of ladies who have no symptoms Pre-bfp.
If it doesn't happen this month, would you be able to do an iui next month or would it not work timing wise with the holidays?
Still crossing everything I can cross for you that it happens this month.

I did cave and test this morning at 9 DPO but I knew it would be negative before I even dipped it because I was stupidly thirsty so my urine was almost clear this morning. I don't even know why I took the darn thing.

I think it's funny! I was logging data on FF mobile, but my phone wasn't connected until we got back to port on Sunday. As I was uploading the data I thought "Hey, I bet Tammy will see this now!". You are a good secret keeper though!
BTW, holy nipple pain. It feels like I've been standing outside, topless, in a windy snow storm.

I'm having the WORST time concentrating, ugh! Starting to feel icky and I only made it through half of my coffee this morning but I feel like I've had six cups. Unfortunately at the same time I am exhausted, what the heck?! Also, why do I keep wanting to stare at my chart, as if something magically will appear that will make it more likely that I'm pregnant? Yup, mind is officially gone. HELP!
