The two week club!

Officially waiting for my FINAL UPGRADE to be set!! She is a 3.02 Pear and will be flanked by 2 x .30 Pears. Here is a pic of the combo! I am waiting for the wax mold to be made and then once approved she will be off to production! I have attached my inspo, which is a very traditional 3 stone. I wanted something timeless…

Beautiful!

I cannot WAIT to see this on your finger!!!! I love the inspiration picture! So glad you decided on the smaller sides! :kiss2:

Thank you! I still go back and forth on the sides and trusting Yekutial’s eye! Lol! We all know I like substantial jewelry . I’m hoping I don’t develop DSS with this lovely, because her overall faceup when I compare on Diamondb is smaller than Coco, but she is elongated- and just a different vibe all together! I just love it here in PS where we can still be satisfied with other people’s purchases. I’m going to miss the hunt for my Pear!

Oooh, should be so pretty! What color are the diamonds - they look very sparkly!

Love my new Tiffany T-1. She's beautiful.

The only problem is that she doesn't fit!!! What a disappointment. The ring came directly to our house for my husband to give to me on Valentine's Day. A Tiffany sales associate had placed the order, when we were in the store, with what she felt would be the size I needed. Based on other rings I have, the size she ordered should have been correct and on the looser side.

But when I went to try my new ring on, I couldn't battle it over the knuckle of my right hand. It was bought as a RHR, and the in-store sizing was determined by using only my right hand.

The ring finger on my left hand is 1/4 size smaller than my right. So, I was able to briefly squeeze the T-1 onto my wedding ring finger. And I mean "squeeze". But even with the ring going over the knuckle, it was very snug and uncomfortable on left hand. It actually gave me muffin finger on the lower part of my finger. I never have had this problem with rings I can get over my knuckle. My knuckles are the largest part of my fingers. My current, properly fitted rings have enough space (when in place & in really cold weather) that they will slightly spin a tiny bit. Not enough for sizing beads, but enough to not feel binding and to manually turn the ring back and forth around the finger.

I'll now have to called Tiffanys next week for an appointment to take the T-1 in to see if they can do a proper sizing on my new ring. Based on the size ordered, it shouldn't be so tight it cuts off my circulation!!! Although I did struggle to get it on & off my left (smaller) hand, I never forced it the whole way on my right hand because I was afraid (that if I did) that I wouldn't be able to get it off. That could have been disastrous with my circulation obviously being cut off. You can see.

I'm so sad that my new T-1 is now back in its little blue box, and I can't wear it.

That looks a good 2 sizes two small! I would insist on a new ring the correct size not resizing this one.

I know how disappointing this can be. Obviously a mistake on their part somewhere, either in the order or the shipment. I assume you will not accept resizing as the solution. I wouldn't. Please some back and let us know what they say.

She'll be on your finger soon!

The sales associate who sold us the ring won't be in until Thursday. However, another SA gave her the message & our SA then immediately contacted us to set up an appointment for next week.

This week wouldn't have been good for us anyhow because we're supposed to have heavy snow for 2 days and then daytime tempts around zero with nights in the -15 (actual tempts) range. So, I wouldn't want to go out this week, even if I could have gotten an appointment immediately. Nevertheless, I hate having to wait.

At least, Tiffanys now knows about the sizing problem. Next week, we'll see what they will do about the situation. Either I get a new ring in the proper size, or I'll ask for a full refund, rather than an exchange for a different ring that could have the same sizing problem. I'm hoping to be able to just get a new T-1 in the proper size...

Although it doesn't sparkle as much as in the showroom (expected), it is such a very pretty ring & goes so well with the T-wire I have. I really want this ring & will be sad if I have to walk away from it.

Meanwhile, we did put the ring on our ring mandrel, and it is 1 1/2 sizes too small!!! No wonder I couldn't squeeze it on!

The work order by the SA has in writing what should have been the proper size. The work order that came back with the sized ring says that Tiffany took the next larger full size (that felt loose on me) and sized it down 1/4 size as the SA requested. Instead, I ended up with a ring that is much tighter than the smaller full size that I couldn't start to squeeze on my finger. So, nothing makes sense.

Obviously, someone somewhere made a mistake, but I don't think it was the SA when she placed the order. The work order that came with the ring also says they did as she requested. Now, I'm a bit nervous about asking for a larger size to be resized down 1/4 size again. If we keep playing this custom sizing game, I'm afraid of getting a ring that still doesn't fit (like this time) & that I'll then have to immediately resell it for a big loss.

So far, Tiffany has been very responsive in responding. But the true test will be whatever happens next week.

For them, there is just more than one ring at stake in getting this sizing situation correct. I already have other Tiffany's rings registered with them on my "wish list". The "wish list" is for Hubby to go to when another special occasion comes around. If I end up happily being able to wear the T-1, I'll firmly him of that list. If not, no more Tiffany jewelry for me.

Frankly, I'd rather have the T-1 on my hand and be able to look forward to possible more Tiffanys goodies in the future.
