Jeff just finished my massive aquamarine! I’m beyond excited. I’d imagine I’ll have it in hand on Monday. It was estimated to be 15-24 cts and ended up near the bottom of that range at 16.98 cts. I was hoping it would end up a hair larger just because, but I think it’s going be perfect for a ridiculously massive cocktail ring! Here’s the size on my finger. From what I can tell from the video, the cut looks even better than I expected! It has really long corners, which is totally my style. Edited: to add a cropped screenshot of the video he sent!

Well, of course I will provide pics to my fave jewelry loving peeps! Also, these huggies are a total rehab project. I bought an 8 Diamond band from TRR for a great price, and used the Gold credit and diamonds for this project! It was super fun- love the hunting and the creation!! After my eternity and these huggies I am going to be done with my jewelry buys until I can fund my next upgrade!! Can't wait for that one!

It should arrive into the UK Monday morning and then to Guernsey on Tuesday. Then I need to pester the courier company to get it delivered! Luckily the island is only 7 x 5 miles do it’s not far to go and collect

Now, I'm a member of the two week club!!! I am waiting for the delivery of a new, properly sized Tiffany T-1 ring: https://www.tiffany.com/jewelry/rings/tiffany-t-t1-narrow-ring-GRP12625/
While we were in the store, they didn't have it in my size. So, my new ring had to be custom ordered.
For everyone, who thinks that Tiffany only does full and half sizes, Tiffany's also will size any sizable ring purchased from them at the time of purchase. You can buy their rings directly from Tiffany in "in-between" 1/4 sizes, too. That's what I needed. I could have worn their 1/2 size, but it was snug. The next size up was too big. So, we ordered halfway in between (or a quarter size) from Tiffany's.
I tried different T-rings on while in the store to find just the right size. So, I hope the Sales Rep ordered me the right size. She used other Tiffany rings in the same basic style to determine what size I may need. Maybe that is more reliable with their brand of jewelry than using a generalized size measuring set, which doesn't always seem to be uniform in determining the true size of different brands and widths of jewelry. Fingers crossed (no pun intended) I'll be getting the right size ring since they did only have full and half sizes in stock to try on.
Anyhow, I'm excited to be getting a Tiffany ring that will fit me better than playing the half size game when you're in between sizes. When I took the Tiffancy T-wire https://www.tiffany.com/jewelry/rings/tiffany-t-diamond-wire-ring-GRP07761/ home a week ago, I had to settle for going up in size with the T-wire ring. The T-wire cannot be resized. I had to settle for either a full or half size. I went bigger full size because the half size felt tight. Although it's a little big, I'm still not having any problem with wearing with my new T-Wire on my pinkie. It doesn't slide off when I wash my hands. And it really doesn't spin much either. Unfortunately, my other fingers have larger knuckles, so getting the perfect fit on them is more difficult. I am so happy that Tiffany will individually size most of their rings when you buy from them. Full eternity bands (and the thinner wire ones) are the exceptions.
I now can hardly wait for my new Tiffany T-1 to arrive and then get it on my hand.
My husband and I both preferred the look of the T-1 Narrow. They didn't have a T-1 with diamonds in my size, but they had less ornate ones that I tried for fit. I also tried on the T-1 Wide with the diamonds in my size. The T-1 wide is very pretty, too, and quite substantial. But I thought that the Wide would look better on a man's hand than my girly one. I don't have tiny hands, but I like somewhat delicate jewelry that feels more feminine. All of the T-1 rings can all be unisex. So, Wide or Narrow is just a matter of preference.
Guess what? After we picked out the T-1 narrow and ordered it, I later spotted the T-1 Wide on Jon Batiste's hand performing at the Super Bowl on Sunday. Although I didn't get the greatest shot, I'm still including the photo I did take. Seeing his ring got me so excited. I immediately tried to get my husband to also see what I was seeing, but he said he couldn't really tell what the musician was wearing on his hand. But I was excited & keep saying "That my new ring!" Well, not exactly since his was the wide. The wide definitely did look great on a man's hand; just like I thought it would. It's a good feeling to know that I really have selected a ring that seems to shout Tiffancy. In the store, I just liked it. Wish I could afford the diamond bangle he also had on. I absolutely loved seeing all the gorgeous Tiffany jewelry Jon Batiste was wearing. The two broaches were to die for. The man certainly has good taste.
Anyhow, I'm now awaiting my own little piece of heaven in the Tiffany T-1 Narrow ring. The Narrow IMO is more feminine and will also be easier to wear as an everyday ring.
It has been promised to get to our house before Valentine's Day. We had the choice of picking it up at the Tiffany store where we bought it or having it delivered directly to our home. Having it delivered here is easier. Now that seems to have been a really wise decision. We're now under a Winter Storm warning with a lot of snow expected. We wouldn't want to drive into the City during a snowstorm that started late Monday night and is supposed to last until late Wednesday night. Hope whoever is going to deliver my new ring isn't going to be delayed because of the snow. I'm not even sure who Tiffany is using for delivery. The sales rep said that she is taking care of everything & that as of today, my ring is on its way.
I'm excited. Hope I like my new ring on my hand as much as I liked the T-1 Wide on Jon Baptise. The T-1 Wide did look good on me, but I just felt the Wide was more masculine than the T-1 Narrow that I couldn't properly try on in the diamond version.

Although I posed this photo on the separate, original thread previously mentioned, I'm now really getting very excited about getting the Tiffany T-1.
It came today!!!
However, we've decided to wait until tomorrow for my husband to "give" it to me on Valentine's Day. I haven't seen "my" ring yet to try it on my hand next to the T-wire pinkie ring I've been wearing since early last week. But now, I now know for sure that the look will be good with the two rings together.
Meanwhile, until dinner tomorrow night, I can only look at the Tiffanys blue box sitting on the counter and dream about soon being able to wear my new T-1 as an everyday ring.
I'm so tempted to open the box early, but I'll wait. I feel like a kid at Christmas.
