After a long week in German customs, little Eryn is finally in US territory and coming home!
 
I can finally join now the wait is under 2 weeks!! We reset the diamond from my original engagement ring into a DBTY style pendant.

It’s been an education learning about the different variations/colours of 18k rose gold (previous experience has just been the peachier Cartier rose gold). It was fun picking a chain style which sparkled (we went with a diamond cut chain) & bezel style (single vs double, plain vs milgrain).

The pendant will be my gift for our 10th wedding anniversary next weekend & I absolutely cannot wait!!
 
Eryn is here! And his neck is the perfect size for my grandmother’s gold ring!
 
Posting to vent my impatience and slight frustration. My sapphire eternity band was supposed to be completed a week ago, but there is still no news from the vendor. Hopefully it'll be done any time now, so fingers crossed I'm now in the two-week wait!!

There is chaos right now as we are currently long distance and preparing to move so timing hasn't exactly been on our side. While waiting, I muted the jeweler on social media in case there were any spoilers, but the the longer I had to wait, the more curious I became and I found myself searching for it so I block their account. I reached a point six weeks ago where I got clever and the curiosity got the best of me; I went on their website to see if they had posted pictures of our ring, they did. It's just how I'd picture it.

I've been desperately seeking and staring at photos and videos of other people's engagement rings to supplement and try to fulfill my daily sparkle needs and living vicariously through them lol.

Nope, not as excited about the five stone with 2.2ct ctr anymore. Decided to do a more tapered grad five stone. May revist larger ctr in future or may not. I work from home so this 2.65ctw new five stone is a good look for me right now.

Deductible and blanket claim coverage canceled out. So closed claim. Had a jewelers mutual for years but didn't renew. Cause been working from home for three years, didn't see the need-thought no exposure. But i mail to DK all the time so Lessen learned.

This was opportunity for me to upgrade my stones. Better believe will be slappin a policy on this BGD piece!!

I am optimistically saying I’m 2 weeks out- but I suspect they are an underestimate - of a new DK creation.
