I’m so ridiculously pleased with it. I’ve got it in a nearby gem jar, and it just draws my eye so easily.

Next step figuring out what to do with it. Thinking of a ring, but I remember reading somewhere about being careful about bezeling it?

Thank you!! I just buy clearance or sale rings from the shopping networks or eBay, plop out the crappy center stone, and my jeweler sets my stone. I know it’s sacrilege, but I like instant gratification so I buy inexpensive silver settings for my less valuable gems. It saves me a fortune though. It’s silver and zircon. The fire opal is from osirisgems, and yes, it’s really neon. Vendor shot. Sorry not a zircon!

Here’s another inexpensive silver setting with a ton of natural zircon. It has an apatite sitting on top of it, but I’m going to use it for another gem.

I am completely obsessed. Do you have a link to the original listing? I've been pouring over options on their site for one like that, but the returns are a pain and the color is tough to "read" via monitor so I keep getting freaked out I'm going to buy one that isn't the right color IRL.

The stone is 4.43 ct from a local gem vendor. Ready-made setting from a Hong Kong vendor via my jeweller. The stone is set rather high cos it is cut deep. I need to be ultra careful when wearing this ring

There was a ton of blue zircon at the Intergem show, so if someone wants to see their stone in person before they get it, that’s an option. That was one gem where there were many sizable, well cut and beautiful loose gems.

Acinom, here are more photos, as requested.
The stone is cut really deep such that it looks like 2+carat size - for the colour and facets? Or are zircons generally cut that way? Anyway, to protect the stone as much as I can, I shall limit the occasions when I wear this ring.

Most cluster rings I had seen before use smaller gems, and yours is big and bold with both the size and the color of gems. Congrats and enjoy!
