I finally pulled it out and snapped pics here....and O.M.G. I LOVE YOU FLORIDA SUN!!!
This is one that I got from Dana. Inside its really beautyful light blue zircon. But man o man, outside is another story. I'm sure I have snaps from when I lived in New England in this thread...the light situation is totally different it looks like a totally different stone down here.

@Arcadian, it clearly LOVES the sun! I love how deep a blue it looks in these photos - unusually deep for a zircon.

I called my husband out and was like "do you see this?" he was like "its a rock so what"
Obviously doesn't get it!The sad is how long its been sitting in a box...
But the flip side are the disappointments! The blues do perform very well here, no question.
But my imperials, reds, peachy champagne and orange ones? They look pretty awful outside and become excessively dark (they still sparkle though!!). Colorwise they look better inside.
BTW that is NOT my camera, they just look that way regardless outside.
this is the peachy champagne outside, same place where I took pics of those blue zircs.
The yellow ones are OK mostly, The green seems to be as well.
There are some definite tradeoffs to all that sun and this happens to be one of them. Means I'm safe sticking with blue zircons...lol
