I would set it as plainly as poss in gold, no side stones, bezel set...let that pretty puppy shine!

I think so too but the cut is strange in that I kind of want to either lop the top off to make it an Asscher or add a point to make it a hexagon.

I have a whacky white star sapphire I love that has pink, green, and blue crystals inside of it. I like to think of it as a confetti sapphire. Confetti birthday cakes were my absolute favorite as a kid

Cuprite, dark red, but has a metallic luster. It’s hard to see here, but it has a silver sheen.

I thought this thread had more traffic; or perhaps this isn't the colored stone version of "unique interesting or just odd stones" that is in RT (which I think is just for diamonds) but I am posting this anyway because I am intrigued by it and think it is pretty. It is a 4.8 Congolese Tourmaline. How would you set it if you had it?? The shape is so unusual I wouldn't know what to do with it exactly but I think it's pretty!

This stone looks ideal for one of those geometric designers like Artemer or similar. Set it with trillions squaring up the top, a baguette lining the bottom, etc.
