It’s already been widely reported that Trump gave the FBI wide lattitude with regard to the sexual misconduct allegations and to interview whomever they felt they needed to. The FBI did that - finishing before the timeline in fact - and they appear to have found NOTHING to corroborate the claims. They didn’t need to talk to Ford or Kav, as they already had 4 hours of Ford’s testimony and 30+ hours of Kav’s, plus his other 6 FBI background investigations. Truth be told, it’s probably a good thing they didn’t talk to Ford again, lest her memory fail her again and she given conflicting testimony to catch herself in a perjury trap.
What Kav said about democrats is the TRUTH, and he was under oath so he had to say it because God knows, someone had to call them out on their BS. I applaud him for standing up to them, and I’d do it again every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

It isn't. It's the lying under oath. Now why would Brett have to lie. Because if he admits he and his buds used to talk about the ol' Devil's triangle in their younger years then it just might look like he and his buds engaged in MMF threesomes in those younger years. And if that's what they were into, while drinking themselves into oblivion while at the same time being jacked from all that lifting, it might lead some to think that the line of consent may have been crossed with the F in the MMF Devil's Triangle. Much easier and convenient to lie about the whole thing and come up with Drinking Game!! Yeah, that's it - it's a drinking game! (And sometimes when you drink too much it makes you gassy and you Boof!) Since it had already been established that everyone was OK with illegal underage drinking because everyone does that, that was the safe way to go and no one can prove that the silly words mean anything else. (Which begs the question of why do we have a ridiculously high legal drinking age when everyone accepts that high schoolers drink, but that's another thread.)
Anyway, listening to his testimony was surreal for me because he sounded exactly like (some) high schoolers I deal with today. When in the cross-fire, equivocate!
I'm resigned to the fact that Kavanaugh will be our next SJC. I won't be protesting because there is no point to it. I will follow @mrs-b 's advice and I hope that others will as well.
