Everything went beautifully and we had a wonderful, relaxed time. And I did not realize it at the time, but one of our guests put himself through college as a wedding photographer and presented us with a DVD with about 600 high resolution images and a photo album at brunch the next morning, so we already have a ton of pictures. (I''m bowled over with his thoughtfulness.) Without further ado...

The rehearsal dinner was low-key with delicious Tex-Mex food, and just a ton of fun.

The ceremony was on the patio of 2941 Restaurant, with the alter roughly behind where the photographer is standing in this picture. The weather forecast last week kept having thunderstorms on Saturday, but fortunately the weather held. (Our rain location was gorgeous, so I wasn''t too concerned either way.)

Before the ceremony, we had welcome drinks for the guests and a bagpiper playing.

Awesome, but where are you?!

Diamondfan -- here we are!

Somebody''s fingers were pretty swollen from drinking at the bachelor party the night before, so I really had problems getting his ring on. He was telling me, "Push harder!" I finally got the darn thing on.

First kiss...

At the rehearsal, the pastor told us that if we didn''t kiss long enough, he''d make us do it again, but if it was too much he''d have to pull us apart. After we kissed, he said that he guessed that would do.

How great! It looks like a lovely wedding and a pretty site...

Two days before our wedding, they decided to put a Salvador Dali statue on the patio. Isn''t he awesome?

My FIL loves to joke around and tried to stick his finger in the cake at the beginning of the reception, so I had to chase him away with my husband''s dirk.

First dance -- I Want To Grow Old With You, Adam Sandler. I think that only the guests under 30 were able to identify it, but a lot of them were laughing.

Thanks, DF.

The best man's speech. He didn't prepare anything and just spoke off the cuff, but did an absolutely wonderful job and it was so touching.

One of my husband''s cousins wore his kilt to the wedding.

About to cut the cake... (and a little too excited about using the dirk for real.)

Nicely cutting the cake.

And then he has to go and stab it.

And convinces me that licking the cake off of it is a good idea. (Come on, you always do this at home.)

And remember how FIL loves to joke around? Someone made the mistake of asking him something about his kilt, and he started to try to lift it up. His wife was forcing his hands down. We were a little worried that one of the groomsmen in particular might try something like this, but didn''t realize that we had to worry about FIL!

Cotton candy! (For you, Sumbride.

And that''s it for now, but if anyone has any picture requests I can post some more. I hope you enjoyed seeing them!

My husband and our fathers were. The girls were trying to convince the other guys that going commando in rented or borrowed kilts is a bad idea (just not hygenic

) but I''m not sure if they listened. (My husband and our fathers all own their kilts.)

Never considered hygiene when using a rented kilt!!! Too funny.

Everything looks gorgeous, especially you! I'm so glad you didn't go for another dress. Congratulations, married lady!
