I wore a Margo Pearl necklace today with their pastel pendant and earrings. The necklace pearls were originally picked for a bracelet. I had them drill. I changed my mind when I came home and knotted them into a necklace with white gold chain. The large split rings act as interchangeable components when I change my mood to switch from gold chain to ribbon.

The pendant pearls were also loose pearls from a couple boxes. Thank goodness there were not that many pastel pearl boxes. The pink and blue popped right out from the rest.

The earring pearls were loose pearls. I originally found the first pearl. It's so pretty with aqua or teal with pink overtone. Then I decided to try my luck to find a matching one for earrings. It took me a few hours to pick a matching pair from multiple boxes. The pearls are not green like pictured. When I chose this pair the intention was to pick an uncommon color.

HHPmom, here is another question. I did find this bail in 14K YG on couple websites, is this one made of silver or gold? Because the silver one is only available on ebay, and I could not find it in any findings store? Thank you for you help!
I have silver South Sea Pearl, and I am still deciding to get a gold or a silver version. The ebay seller does not really provide much description, I wonder about your white enhancer.

I am not aware of this enhancer being made in silver. Mine is gold.

The problem with riogrande is they do not list the dimension on their website. They do refer to their actual cataglog page. Fortunately the catalog pictures are in real life sizes. I've verified that the one on their website is the larger one. Although bellafindings list the large one as 16mm long and 9mm wide, mine comes out to about 7.75mm wide and 16mm long.

Their white gold version (ebay store) is expensive for $120. It's only about $55 from bellafindings when I log into my account. Bella has more discount if you buy in volume. I don't have a license and price for one is $55.47 and $49.31 each for more than 50 pieces. Both websites I listed fluctuate based on current gold pricing.

The ebay's silver version doesn't mention if it's argentium coated or not (slows down tarnishing). I don't want to have to polish my silver pieces and have not bought silver lately. I have a necklace and bracelet bought from Mexico that I have to polish every once in a while because I don't wear them often. For peace of mind, I'd rather buy white gold version from bella or riogrande.

Ah, well that Lobe Wonder was the best I could do as a suggestion lol I'm looking at a little pile of Tahitians that need to be made up as earrings and two of them ,that I was planning on keeping as they match a necklace I have ,are now looking a bit hefty at 13mm ... I might be in the same situation with those puppies. *puts Lobe Wonder on shopping list

katbran I wore my lobe wonders today with my 13mm wSS dangles and I just have to say again how much more comfortable it is to wear them with the lobe wonders! They do such a good job preventing my earring holes from being tugged. The $6 I spent on them were worth every penny

I did not work with wires yet, but my friend is. You mention you set it yourself, is gold so much different/difficult to work with compare to a silver? Thank you!

I have not set pearl with silver. I've read on other forum you have to be careful with polishing products touching pearls. At least this is an enhancer so it's not attached to the pearl. For gold, I just use Vigor (bella sells them). The one that sets in 45-60 seconds. There is one type of glue that has 2 steps some people use, which is probably more sturdy. I can't remember what is is though. I've never had things unglued using Vigor. Make sure you don't saturate too much glue either. If gluing pendant post to pearl and the post doesn't have groove, use a plier or tool to make a couple light indentions on the surface to help glue adhere to the surface as compared to smooth post.

After seeing icy_jade's beautiful new goldens, I reached for my South Sea dark goldens today. Baroque pendant and round ring pearls have green overtones and were purchased from Indoseapearls on Etsy. Stud pair was purchased from Pearllunar on Ebay and have red overtones. All set locally by my jeweler. Inset photo shows one of the studs and my ring.

katbran -- I think they are 13 mm to 17 mm. The exact double necklace I have isn't available anymore, but the white ouffles on PP's website, which look the same, are 13 mm to 17 mm. My POJ white ripples are going to be around that large, too!

Bsomio, yes.... sadly, it is the neglected cousin compared with my blue akoya strand or the metallic white fwp strand. They sit together in the same compartment of my jewellery box and I frequently reach for the other two and not this. Wore it today only cos I mistook it for my metallic whites in the dark . It is a pretty strand, no doubt..... but..... it does not have the 'depth' like the others and not much overtones or orient to talk about. To me, it is pretty but boring with not much character.
By the way, your souffles are beautiful! Amazing luster too
