Everyone is looking so fabulous! It is such fun to look through this record of pearl styles!

Today I wore my pink button pearl studs with the pink drop jackets I had made this summer paired with my lavender/champagne ripples from PP's recent Hong Kong trip. I am sure no one in my orbit thinks they are pearls. I saw a colleague looking at them with confused curiosity during a meeting today.

"Confused curiosity" is such a good way to put it ! I get that a lot!

I love those ripples, so very pretty! And the snowflakes in the background are very sweet-- my boys have been making those paper snowflakes for the last couple of weeks, too.

Thank you bsomlo, sortmon, pkkin, and 4RG This was the first time I wore my large wSS studs with this strand. I usually wear my wSS diamond dangles, but I have to say I like these together very much and they are both very comfortable to wear!

Wow! Another beautiful bsomlo strand! Do you have a picture of all your pearls? How long did it take you to amass such a large collection? Seems like you rarely wear the same thing twice!

This is my 20" strand of silver/green Tahitians, bought about 1.5 years ago from PP. It was my first "big" purchase from them . I've gotten a lot of wear out of these.

bsomlo - I agree with the others. That is a beautiful strand and it goes perfectly with your blouse! You must have so much fun each morning mixing & matching! Or are you one who plans their wardrobe the night before? Either way you are doing a fabulous job!

SMC -- I don't have a thread with all my pearls. My parents gave me a short strand of white CFW pearls decades ago, and some pearls along the way. Then DH bought me a triple from Hong Kong a few years ago. Recently, I've gone pearl crazy!

pkinnew -- Sometimes I plan the night before, sometimes the morning of... but I DO buy my tops purposefully -- they are bought to frame my pearl necklaces (hence the same style in 6 colors).

I have to say that the metallic white triple strand that you had is one of my absolute favorites on PS. I asked Jeremy about metallic whites, and he pointed to your necklace as one of the great successes from his Asia trip.

Today, PP white ripples. These are my "just right" white ripples.

First, I bought creamy jumbos from CC that just didn't work for me. Then, I bought gargantuan white ripples from POJ that were spectacular but too heavy. Next, I bought a longer strand of lovely smaller off-whites from CC that were just a bit too creamy/peachy for me. Finally, I bought these. Yay!

(The other three wonderful strands went to another PSer who has since become my pearl buddy! They look smashing on her!)

babynurse -- That is such a beautiful strand of Tahitians at an unusual length! I'm used to quite short -- or those 50" Tahitian ropes from PP. I'd love to see close-ups of this necklace!
