so i went back to peruse this entire thread, and FLYGIRL i never realized you were the woman with that TODIEFOR aqua/pearl princess bracelet! back when i was only a CS lurker, i watched your process for getting that together, and i forget if i de-lurked, but it is a look that is on my personal bucket list. and come to find out it was someone i know! well, "know". you know.

so i went back to peruse this entire thread, and FLYGIRL i never realized you were the woman with that TODIEFOR aqua/pearl princess bracelet! back when i was only a CS lurker, i watched your process for getting that together, and i forget if i de-lurked, but it is a look that is on my personal bucket list. and come to find out it was someone i know! well, "know". you know.

I'm helping my son and future DIL plan their wedding, and I want to get my future DIL some pearls for her wedding. I'm waiting until she picks out the dress first, so we can better plan the length and overtones. But, that Diana bracelet might make for a stunning "something borrowed and something blue". Just thinking out loud here. Wedding isn't until October so we have some time.

What aqua/pearl bracelet? Would you mind reposting a picture? I love blue stones and pearls - can't imagine how lovely they'll be together!

Congrats on your son's upcoming wedding! I am sure she would be thrilled to wear that stunning bracelet! Don't you have it the wrong way aren't you supposed to buy the dress around the pearls? Have fun planning the wedding and I am looking forward to seeing the pearls you get for you DIL-to be!

Thanks everyone for your kind compliments. I got the necklace from pp at a black Friday sales 2 years ago. It consists of 4 strands of small akoya keshis held together with a magnetic clasp. I usually wear it as untwisted as possible to lengthen the strand. It is very lustrous and a mixture of colours ranging from white to silver to cream. I am thinking of getting an enhancer with a large ssp to wear with it so that there is a focal point. Have not quite decided on the design though. I have too many uncompleted pearl projects!
