Anyone taken anything off their list?

I've added to mine it seems, but I believe I've added a couple since I originally posted AND been able to take them off. (Colorless spinel and lavender spinel!) And I'm negotiating to get myself a periwinkle blue spinel...WOOT!

So, whats on your list? Or still on your list? Or has been taken off?

I wanna red diamond, an orange one and a violet one.

While we're at it I'd take an emerald-cut 3 ct Kashmir sapphire.

I also like watermelon tourmaline.

I'd like a Montana sapphire too, but ones that aren't steely are harder to come by. I'm also lacking a tsav, and my only spinel is a Mahenge, so it would be nice to add a few other colors.

I've not gotten anything anything from my list. Well, I take that back, I got the green chrysos but I don't think they're green enough, so I'm not sure I'll count them. I wanted springy/apple green and I don't think they're it.

I know that I want another supernova, a chunky round, a fat marquise, and a brilliant emerald cut.

3+ carat powder blue spinel with minimal grey
(well I'm always on the lookout for nice colored spinels)
orangey yellow diamond (can be less than a carat)
I just got a fire opal, so I can finally cross that off.
Nicely saturated merelani mint garnet
Very finely saturated vanadium chrysoberyl (that might have to be on my fantasy list since the prices are really high, and good ones are so rare). 

Fantasy list:
10+ carat Kashmir sapphire
10+ carat fancy orange pink diamond
3+ carat fancy intense to vivid green diamond
3+ carat unheated top color Burmese ruby
10+ carat Muzo mine Columbian emerald of top color and faint to no treatment (yeah, dream on or rob the Smithsonian)

Oh, and they all have to be heart shapes, just to make Freke jealous!!

Thanks for the pointer to the moonstones on Barry's site, they are pretty, if only I didn't have several setting projects started!

I'll have to see if they are still there after my projects are done.

My biggest wish is for a Paraiba Tourmaline. The first time I ever saw one, on display at a jewelry store in a ring setting with diamonds, I nearly went into a trance! It cost a gazillion bucks, no chance of my buying it, but I went back & visited that darned ring until it was no longer there. That one was large for a Paraiba & beautifully cut; it just glowed with its own brilliance. Have loved them ever since.

Second choice -- very close second, who'd turn one down? -- is an untreated sapphire, medium blue, at least 4 ct.

Third, emeralds emeralds emeralds.

The sale at Barry's made me cave, I just ordered that set of moonstones...and there is a large one there too! Good thing I'm traveling this week...will get a bit of extra play money.

well consiering whats on my list...I can't say I've gotten much of anything on it.

The blue zircon is gone, that sucks but there will be another someday.

What I didn't post on my list that I DID purchase was a purple/lavendar spinel. Will post pictures when received.

I'm searching for 2 peach colored sapphires, size .50ct or so.... So far no luck. Though ebay is littered with a whole lot of dyed and heated pairs, ugh.

Other than that, the pad search/slow descent into madness continues.

I've got my eye on some blue spinels, but it's probably better if I finish the main project before I dwell on buying any more stones.

I am a newbie so I don't really even know what I want in a specific way.... I know I want a Barry round stone. I want a green sparkly stone. Not mint green and not too much yellow in it.....so what am I looking for? Would it be a tsavorite? I'd also love a supernova and a cushion cut stone. I have not clue in what though.
I also want to make some dangle, bezeled charms to hang from my studs. Boy finding pairs of gems are hard especially in the pear shape. Anyone know of sites I should check that sell pairs?

- a trillion salmon pink tourmaline in a diamond halo setting
- a pear rich/deep purple amethyst also in a diamond halo
- a cushion smokey topaz with round diamonds on either side
and maybe something in hot pink, lime, white and lavender
