Cue ''God Save The Queen'' followed by ''land of Hope & Glory'' and a few verses of ''Rule Britannia'' just for good measure!

What a lot of Brits we have here!

Oh, I love the Queen, but I don''t think I''ll be singing that when Camilla is queen.

What''s wrong with Camilla? Are you afraid that Charles will be reigning from...aaa...inside her trousers? (I hope everyone remembers this infamous phone conversation). And, honestly, given the longevity in the family, Charles has limited chance to become the King.

Good lord woman! You''re at sea level. You could knock one of these out in 45 minutes. Think of poor moi up in the mountains - the Victoria sandwich wasteland of the world.

Really... DH''s grandparents live in Malvern, so we chose Elgar''s ''Nimrod'' as one of the pieces for our wedding - also one of my favourite composers.

I adore Nimrod. Don''t know what it is about Elgar, but he brings out my Englishness like no other.

Massachusetts->Long Beach, CA. Where it is not in the LEAST sunny at the moment.

I'm in Great Falls, Virginia (a suburb just outside of Washington, DC); I'm about a mile from the Great Falls Park on the Potomac River.

Technically, I'm under a growing pile of snow. But hey, snow makes for good photo ops - check out the below pic of the falls in the winter (can't take photo credit).

P.S. Sorry for the recent inactivity - I'm just taking a quick break from studying (yeah!

Hi,

The province I''m living in, is still a part of Flanders. Alva (the way we write it), was definitely not liked! Not by the Belgians, nor by the Dutchmen. At that time, Belgium and the Netherlands were one country.

Welcome, RosieB! I have been to the Netherlands with my family, and we biked through the Belgian border and bought amazing beer at the monastery. I am not a beer-loving person, but that beer was something else!
