I liked the second one because it resembles Beverly K's more expensive ornate rings. beau, who makes the second one?
Hey Gemgirl, it seems Decolady already posted the link to the seller of these bands. Both bands are sold through this same vendor. The second band sells for $135 (14k white gold). I decided to go with #1, but with blue sapphire (rather than pink), to represent "my boys". I think the blue looks richer. I do like the pink, but for whatever reason, when I see the same ring with pink sapphires vs. blue sapphires..I always like the blue better. When I found out she had the ring in blue..It was an easy choice. Thanks for the votes ladies!!

This is the blue one..don''t think she has any blue left though!

I love #1. The pink and white of the diamond is such a feminine look - I just absolutely LOVE it!

OK..fess up!! Who bought band #2. I see it''s no longer available??
Hand pics are a must!

I think it's still available? I was looking at the seller's store for ring #2 and I do see a Blue sapphire like the one you posted that is still available. I don't want to post the link in case someone else snatches it up again.

Edit: Sorry, was thinking #2 meant the blue sapphire ring! Yes, I can't find your original #2 either, but really liked it

It shouldn''t be available. The seller keeps changing her mind about the price. She thought I wanted two bands (pink and blue), she told me yesterday, they were the same price. Today when I went to pay her, suddenly the blue sapphire band costs more!!

I told her she should honour the price she quoted me. I am waiting for her to send me an invoice with the correct amount. Well..not worried, if someone else should try t buy it, she''ll have to explain to them that''s it already been sold!!

There..it''s bought & paid for! We agreed on $140 for the blue sapphire band (which cost me $175 with the crappy exchange rate right now!). I just hope it''s a decent looking ring for what I paid. I will post handshots once it arrives!

I hate waiting...I so hope this band arrives tomorrow. With the holidays, the mail is sooooo slow. I have my eye on another gorgeous ring from this seller..but I want to make sure the quality is there, before buying again. My camera is charged and ready..for handshots!!

That''s a beautiful band Beau! I hope you get it soon and it''s of the quality that you are expecting. It''s really looks like a great band. I am so into stacking bands lately myself! ADDICTING!!!!!

Thanks Kt..I''m betting by Tuesday I''ll have some hand pics!! I''m not expecting a whole lot for under $200..but the vendor did promise me they were VS quality...when I questioned it. We''ll see soon enough. I don''t think you can buy stacking bands anywhere for this price. I''ve seen identical ones for about $350,(which translates into about $425 for me with the crappy US/Cdn exchange rate right now).

Very pretty band. Can''t wait to see hand shots.

Got the ring..I must say I''m a little disappointed with it. The photo the vendor showed, must have been magnified 100''s of times. The ring in real life reminds me of child''s jewelry. Maybe I''m just not one for such thin, delicate, weightless pieces. It''s so fragile looking. Next to my 5 stone band, and solitaire, it looks so lost!! My other rings have so much gold and weight to them. So substantial looking. Ah well..up for sale it goes..I''m sure it will find a good home! (I can''t tell the quality fo the dimaonds/sapphires..because they''re so small, you need a magnifying glass to see them!

The pics aren't posting for me..ah well..probably not worth posting anyway! lol

Definitely prefer #1

sorry to hear that they''re not what you wanted beau! They do look beautiful in her pics.

#1 will bring out a lot of the color sparkles from your solitaire! yummy!

I hardly ever post, but I love to lurk and ogle!! Before we tied the knot I posted pretty often on BWW, but now I just love to drool in SMTR!!

I had to come out of lurkdom to comment on your stacking band choice!! My wedding band is very, very similar to ring #1, except it is all diamonds. I absolutely love my wedding band and get so many compliments on it!! I would absolutely choose band #1!! We only got married 3 months ago, but I look forward to stacking bands in my future :D. Beautiful choices, but #1 all the way!!

Edit: I just read you aren't happy with your ring!! I am so sorry to hear that. I have been trolling Ebay looking for a deal lately and I guess things aren't always as they seem. The ring really does look nice in that large photo. This is my wedding band: http://www.estatediamondjewelry.com/item.cfm?int_item_id=583&cat_id=11
and I couldn't be happier with it!! I know that's quite a price difference though. Have you thought about that beautiful Whiteflash little round bezeled band??

You can see in the pic how it just doesn''t hold up to the other rings (which are much heftier).

The sapphire band is so flat, not much of a profile like my 5 stone band!

Looks ok in the pic I suppose, but in real life, you don''t even see the band sitting next to all that gold (4.5mm wide cathedral)

Hi there..thanks for coming out of lurk mode! lol.
Thanks for the bezel band suggestion..I find the Whiteflash one''s I''ve seen a little dainty and delicate for my liking too. I have one (as seen in the pic), and it has larger diamonds, and measure about 3.5mmm in width, therefore doesn''t look so out of place next to my solitaire. I never really wore it after stacking my 5 stone band with the solitaire..so I''ve since sold it.

I can totally see what you mean with the pictures...the band is sweet, but it definitely doesn''t hold up to your beautiful wedding set. I mentioned to my husband that I wanted a black diamond band that I found for stacking and he was insulted that I wanted to put something like that on the same finger I had my wedding set on...to me you can never have enough sparklies!! BUT I definitely see his point, you want something that will compare to the rest of your set!! I honestly think it looks just lovely without the stacking band at all!! You can really see the difference in the quality when it''s next to your rings!! Beautiful set, by the way!!

I''m sorry you''re not happy with it! I think it looks great, but then again, I''m a fan of the dainty pieces.

I like #1!

Totally off topic, but geckodani I love your quote. It''s too funny!!

Beau, it sounds to me like you like the feel of hefty jewelry! It is a very sweet ring, but maybe that is why you compared it to your "child''s jewelry" because it just feels too dainty compared to your normal pieces. It would definitely be fun to keep the band and mix it up sometimes, but if you aren''t in love with it maybe you should keep looking!

Hee hee. Thanks! It''s a direct quote of mine, LOL.

Beau,

I am sorry this venture was unsucessful.

I prefered the second band but it seems that either choice would have been too slight for you. Honestly, I like the look of the band with your set but I see why it is not your cup of tea.

So where to from here? Are you still hunting?

Hey..not a problem. This is the ONLY ring out of probably 20..that I''ve bought on E-bay that I am disatisfied with. It only makes me realize what a fabulous deal I got on the 5 stone diamond band..when I compare it to this "skimpy" little band. I guess I''m used to BIG diamonds..LOTS of gold, pieces that can be seen from a distance, not having to find a magnifying glass to look at the ring on your finger!! I''ll be resetting my 1.76c diamond into a halo style mount soon enough anyway. I don''t plan on wearing a band with it..since it will be a larger..bold looking piece! I will then wear the 5 stone band on my right hand. I just wanted to post pics in case anyone else was interested in purchasing from this vendor. The prices are great..but you don''t get a whole lot of ring (or bling) for the $$.
