The 21 rings is for just the back in the bottom if you do one of the top tray it will hold 56, or if you chose to both that way it would be 112 rings....

Matatora,

Does the jewelry box come with "ring liners" (or whatever they are called) that can be put in to make it into a box for 112 rings? If not, how does one order it that way?

They are continuous rows.

I was worried when you said you had seem some that weren''t soft enough that this would just be hard plastic ''bays'' for the rings, but they are soft rows of velveteen over foam. And the ''leather'' is plastic over cardboard, lol. But hey, what do you expect for $6?

I am ordering one as soon as I get home tonight! It is very hard to find that kind!

The box includes the ring liner for one of the top trays which fits into the box. It also comes with little wooden section dividers. to keep things like earrings seperated.

that just makes them all the more perfect. I need a box where i can store all my jewelry in one location! (i always forget about some of my older pieces, so this just makes it a whole lot easier...) thanks!

Here is my box with my rings in it. The top three are fakes!

Deb, the site where I got mine had at least one with a clear top on it. You might check it out.

I found something myself, and when I got back here there were more ideas from all of you! How great you all are at finding things! Thank you!

Here is what I found: a site which makes different boxes and will sell you organizers of your choice for a decorative wooden box or a very inexpensive one!

Jewelry Boxes and Organizers

Flower,

Where can I find the first two ring holders you posted today? Why do you think the second one (the blue-grey one) might not be best? It looks very pretty!

Deborah

this one is my old ring box. very comfortable to use .
I bought lot of J box,but always back to this one

very compact than the black 24 one
the black 24 one is 7.32 x 5 x 1.72

Very, very pretty! It also looks as if it would pass Jennifer's softness test! Alas, the organizers I found turned out to be some covering over plastic. Probably not soft at all!

While attempting to find the auction for the lidded box with the ring rolls that Flower mentioned, I found another earring box. This one is offered on eBay. If you miss the auction, though, the vendor appears to have an eBay store. The name is Chasing Treasure (or maybe Chasing Treasures).

This is Item number: 5011564769 and has a Buy It Now price of $18.00 and a starting bid of $16.99 with no bidders yet and 15 hours to go.

I have this one, and am quite fond of it. Keep your silver jewelry shiny and clean. This rosewood veneer jewelry box is lined with a specially treated cloth that prevents your silver jewelry from tarnishing for up to 25 to 40 years with proper use. Its compartments provide storage space for at least 40 pairs of earrings, 21 rings, bracelets, necklaces, pins, and more.

Measures approximately 15-3/4''L x 3-3/8''H x 9-3/8''D.

V''s mother gave it to me three years ago and it is wonderful!

In my travels I just saw this same box for $125.00. I think I am going to see if I can order one for $40.00, too! I was being obsessive about keeping rings and earrings separate...but with this box I can keep an entire set together! Not that I have one. But if I chose to buy a matching bracelet, necklace, ring, and earrings I could keep all of the pieces in the set in one box together!!!

Deb

Should I post a new poll to find out how many Pricescopers bought the jewelry box Matatora posted (or a similar one) through QVC? I am now among the group. Thanks for the great tip, Matatora!

Deb

Deb, I love this one!!

After having had no jewelry box whatsoever for years, I am now acquiring them in profusion! I am really not sure what I will do with all the boxes I have ordered! (During eBay''s Auction for America I sold and bought many American flag items for charity. I still have a lot of them. I could dedicate one box to red, white and blue beaded flag earrings and rhinestone pins!)

At any rate, I ordered TWO of these boxes in oak with the inserts for rings!!!

Deb

Well...I now have four more jewelry boxes! Everything I ordered arrived. I have the big wooden box Matatora recommended; the black one with the earring compartments I got on eBay; and two oak Keepsake boxes with ring rolls. There is a photo of them just above this, but the oak is not pictured so at some point I will photograph them. Now I just have to know what to do with all my space! I certainly don't have enough jewelry to fill them all!!!

Deb

Deb, that Keepsake box with ring rolls is awesome!

I am almost as bad as ame is and am picky about the slots--they have to be ''soft''.
40.gif
haha no way near.

But yea I like my slots soft too but firm enough to still hold them in there. I worry about hitting it hard enough to jar it loose and have it slamming around.
