When on Ban Island, how does one amuse oneself? With jewels that one didn’t have to pay for! Demantoid from Namibia, about 4 ct.

I mean, when you are minding your own business and jewels jump on to the finger, how can you say no? Kismet, darling, enjoy the sparkles!

Trackings says it’s in New Jersey. I’m guessing about a week.

Soooooo Canada post has gone on strike. Usually, USPS delivery mail to the border customs, then once the item clears customs, Canada Post will deliver it. But they are on strike. My package is still in the US. I’ve tried to find out if USPS will work with a different delivery service or if it will return to sender or maybe it will just sit in a warehouse somewhere until the ends of time…

Finally, finally getting around to posting this. A Kwiat band - TRR find. It’s soooo sparkly!

I was so happy with the 14k rope bracelet from Costco... that I went ahead and bought the Costco rope necklace!!

My diamond is having a little party in New Jersey still. She visited Hackensack and Teterboro and Jersey City. Seller was very nice but said there was no way to recall the package at their end. So I wait for the union to reach a settlement. If I wasn’t such a big union supporter I’d be annoyed but good for them leveraging a strike at this time of year to negotiate. Unfortunately my project is on hold until it’s all resolved!

(Which aren’t available thru WF for a ring)
In the end, it was roughly 300 in difference between the two, with sourcing and sending to DK, and the urge to reinvent the wheel with CAD’s vs hands off! lol:

I’m exited to see WF’s bench work, as this will be my first

Gorgeous! And drool worthy with that engraved wedding band! I also have an ACA 5-stone, and wear it with a gold wedding band. They still take my breath away with their light performance. Enjoy!!

You don’t have a larger five stone though! So a great addition. It fits right in and compliments everything.

I don’t have any bands that are “wear and forget”. I’m making a five stone with half carat OECs right now but the setting I’m pondering isn’t a “forget your wearing it” kind of setting. Maybe that’s not possible with half carat stones? Your setting looks very low set and comfortable.
