Just an FYI - LIA''s idea has been brought up before and the moderators here didn''t really like it. Posting usernames on other sites is also not allowed per the forum rules, but sometimes people use the same name on different sites which makes it easier to stumble across them. That''s how I found some people. GTGs also help.

LOL...i knew it seemed too easy to have not been done before! would they still oppose if usernames weren''t actually posted (just emailed to the group admins when asking to join)?

ok...off to remain anonymous...

Yes-they don''t want us to organize anything on PS for OFF PS if that makes sense. But it doesn''t mean that you can''t find other people indirectly...

Found ya Neatfreak!

Dreamer-You have a message!

I feel so privileged to be NF''s buddy! I think Robbie, too? So if you find NF, you can find me!

Okay- itchy belly. SUPER itchy. Cocoa butter is doing nothing for it. It''s driving me crazy, boobs, too. Belly mostly around the belly-button area. The prenatals are making my nails grow insanely, so I''m just raking my skin incessantly, upon wake up, while walking around... ugh. Any ideas to soothe?

lol, me too, me too!
hmmm...I''ll have to go find Robbie :)

amber...try over the counter hydrocortisone.
it''s safe!
and MOISTURIZE (vaseline--ie petroleum jelly--is the best moisturizer ever).

Sweet, am I your friend? If you look for me in our "mutual" friends, I have the same name as my SN, almost. :) Remember where I'm from?

ETA: LIA, thanks so much for the tip, I'll do anything!

Hooray for healthy baby, Mela! Can''t wait to hear about all it even though it didn''t go as planned.

Neatfreak, I want to find you too! i will do that in the morning!

Just delurking to send out a huge congratulations to mela on the birth of gorgeous Romeo!!!

Congratulations Mela!

Sorry to hear that things didn''t go smoothly - but at least you are both safe and healthy, which is the most important thing at the end of the day. Hope Romeo continues to improve and that you''re not feeling too shell-shocked by things. I ''look forward'' to hearing your birth story!

Wow, 7lbs at nearly 42 weeks - I dread to think how much Daisy would have weighed by then (8lbs 4oz was quite enough for me!)...

Congratulations mela and welcome baby Romeo!

Congratulations to Mela!!! I was wrong again. I thought for sure that little one was a Luna. Haha. I''m just keeping up with my record of always (ALWAYS!!) guessing wrong.

Rest up, momma!!!

Speaking of searching others out. I must be the worst at that, too. Finally found Robbie, but no clue how to send her a message. I have been looking and looking, and to no avail. Tried looking for hobbies (??) on the networking site and I have no clue how to do that, either.

Pathetic.

If it''s on the bump, there''s a link at the bottom of each post that says "contact." Click it and the first choice is to send a private message.

Thanks for the link Robbie

Blen found me and my super cheesy picture that I don't know how to change on mobile lol.

I feel awesome today. I actually slept the entire night, only waking up once to use the restroom. Oh happy Day
runaround1.gif

Amber-I ditto the moisturizer. I'm convinced that it was stopping the moisturizer that led to my stretchmarks. I would slather it on every night and stopped because the lotion fell under the bed and I can't get it and keep forgetting to tell FI to get it for me. Yes, this is fiery lol. So I've been scratching and I noticed a few stretchmarks around my belly button (boo).

Speaking of belly buttons...I was really excited because it looked like it was getting flat. Then yesterday it went back to being an innie. It's not a big deal except that when I wear form fitting shirts, it looks like I have a big hole in the middle haha

OH and I saw the preggos in waiting list. Fabienne you are next unless you have had your baby boy already!

CDT-9 more days

I found Neat and Robbie!

On the hunt for the rest of you later today

I did my prenatal yoga class last night and it was great!! so relaxing, I loved it.

This morning I stepped on the scale since I have my Dr''s appointment tomorrow and would rather be "suprised" by myself to get prepared...hehe. Anyway, this Chicago trip really did it...

I''m up 20 lbs

32.gif
. I know, I know...there are two babies in there...and I know, I know...it''s good for them I''m putting on the pounds, but it''s so hard!!. I''ll be 18 weeks in 2 days, so I was hoping I was more like 18 lbs over
14.gif
. It''s just so hard for me to see my body expand so much when I have worked so hard to keep it in shape. When I moved from venezuela to the US, I gained like 60 lbs (crazy, I know)...but I lost it all after college and have kept it off...and became very active too. So while I know this is all good and ok, it''s still hard.

Ok, sorry for the "me, me, me" post!...

Fiery - Your so funny about your belly button! lol

Ahhhh MELA- Congrats!!!!! And welcome to the world ROMEO! So not surprised you had a boy, even though I voted girl, I had a suspicion it was really a boy. Hope you are resting up, but when you get home- PICTURES!!!! Thinking of you!

NYCSparkle- Sorry you're so uncomfortable. A name will come to you, don't worry. Let us know if we can help! We love names around these parts.

Fiery- How far is your shower? All you can do is wait and see what your doctor says. If he/she says no, then not much you can do about it. I'm sure your mom will be disappointed, but she has to understand.

Phoenix- GL at the u/s! Should be able to tell the sex, unless your little one is not cooperating.

So Cal- I also have an anterior placenta. Didn't feel anything until about 22 weeks or so. Didn't feel a ton of kicks until probably 25 weeks or so. Now I feel them all the time, it's so cool and kinda tickly.

Ebree- You got a gender guess right!! Your streak is broken. How are you doing? Any decisions about the nursery?

FB- I am so confused on that site. I can never find anyone that I actually know IRL, much less try and guess any of you! Will try later, though, feeling left out.

All is good with me. The crushing exhaustion of last week seems to have passed into normal tiredness. Maybe the iron pills are helping. Regardless, it's a good thing b/c this week is crazy. Work has exploded, plus we are moving next week and are doing stuff to our new house this week. So b/w running over there to let floor people and painters in, running back to work and working late, it's a good thing I have a bit of energy.

Anyone else having issues with spilling food? All of a sudden I can't eat anything without it ended up on my stomach. Lovely. I have never been this clumsy before, it's weird!

ETA: Mandarine- I know it's hard but don't worry about the weight gain. It really takes a huge switch in our brains, but you've got to do it or you'll drive yourself crazy. Just think that it's GOOD, HEALTHY weight gain. Have you seen that breakdown of what the weight actually is? That helped me to see that a lot of it is baby and uterus and blood and fluids. I actually don't weigh myself, and I don't really pay attention at the doctor's office. I let her tell me how much I have gained since last visit, and as long as it is within the normal range, I don't think about it. Of course, I could do the math, but ugh! And you look GREAT. Just try to stay active and eat relatively healthy and you'll be fine.

You guys, come find me on FB! I will change my av to this one to make it easier.

Okay, still super itchy (HOW can there be a stretchmark? HOW?? I''m only 15 weeks, and have gained 5 pounds MAX), but the cortisone is helping a TON.

Also: I got checked out today!! DH and I were picking up coffee (well, I was getting a small Special K, and a bottle of water) and some dude checked me out! I''m not completely decimated looks-wise!

Amber- I''ve been looking for you and can''t find you. The weird thing is I know I''ve seen you on there before!

Hmmmm. I wonder if it's because I've got my privacy settings changed (My boss is on there), I'll change them, and try again.

hint: My last name is the name of a cartoon kitty who ISN'T garfield, or heathcliff. Kind of an old school cartoon kitty who was BLACK.

Okay, changed!

After a momentary brain lapse I remembered your last name and found you. The avatar helped!

Amber- Sorry about the itchiness. Haven't had it yet, but I've heard it's really common. I'd try LIA's advice. Ok, so I think I remember your last name- but now I'm thinking that it might be your maiden name. The one I remember is the one that "goes" with your first name. Just tried to find you on FB but couldn't tell. Do you have 2 or 3 names on your FB page? Also, not sure I am in the right network for you. I know the general area, but not sure if you are in the big city or a smaller one. Hmmm, this is kinda fun!!!!

ETA: Ok, that last clue helped, I just found you!!!!

Vizsla, DH and I were watching The Princess Bride last night and I said, "What about Wesley?" He said, "What about Buttercup?" LOL. I think Wesley might actually be on our list now though! I''m such a copy cat, but I swear I don''t mean to be. I hear/see something and then forget where I heard/saw it (had to search to see if it was on here). I once bought the same bathing suit as Sabine after she showed it to me. I''d totally forgotten she''d bought it too, lol. If we go with Wesley I think he would be Wesley Jacob. My grandfather''s real name was Isaac Jacob, but he changed it to Jack later in life. I''d love to use Jack as a middle name, but I don''t think Wesley Jack sounds as nice.

Edited: Dur, I'm a moron and can't read. :)

My cousin (she of the three sets of twins, five are boys) has named her first set of twins born this year (next set due in August) Jacob and Thomas, and is calling Jacob JACK. I''m bummed because that was going to be OUR name, Jack, and if not Jack, we were going with Jacob, because Jake is so cute. But nooooo, she has to take BOTH names for one baby. We were kind of bummed. She took a name from my other cousin before her baby was born, and named her DOG the OTHER boy name we were considering. Putting it lightly that the family is getting fed up with her name-stealing!

Mandarine-I know the weight gain is hard but you also know/have what it takes to get it off once the babies arrive. FWIW, I think you look fabulous and you sound like you are on track in terms of gain.

China-What is wrong with you? You’re falling down stairs, dropping food…can’t take you anywhere!
2.gif
I am just bumping into things. I bumped into my own shopping cart yesterday. I have no idea how I did that. It''s like I was holding the cart in place but my feet decided to keep walking.

Robbie-I don''t know if I have mentioned this before but every time I "picture" your LO, it''s a boy and his name is Jack. I love Jacob though and I think Wesley Jacob sounds great!
If anyone is friends with Robbie, I recently wrote on her wall and my initials are MM. You can’t miss me. I’m sitting on a really big pink chair.

Amber- I have the same issue about names- though not as bad as your greedy name-stealing cousin!
2.gif
Jack has always been one of my boy names- it''s my grandfather''s name. My cousin just named her son born in January Jack. Now, it''s just as much her right to name him that as me, so I''m not annoyed with her. In general, I think that cousin''s kid''s names are on the table. It''s your cousin, not your brother or sister. Though everyone in my family has the same names, so maybe I am desensitized to it. Anways, two of our names are/were Jack and Oliver, which I think is your cousin''s dog name. Too funny. Do you have other ideas?

Robbie- Love the Wesley, as I said earlier. But I do think of your kid as Desmond Jack, called Jack. Or Dez/Des. But Wesley Jacob is lovely!

Fiery- I know, I''m a mess all of a sudden! Not bumping into things yet, maybe that''s next!

I just found Fiery and Mandarine. Hello ladies. :)

China: We loved Riley for a boy until Paul saw it was the 34th most popular girl name or something like that. As a teacher in elementary school he doesn't want our kid to have a billion other Rileys (all who would be girls!) in class with him. We are trying really hard to find a classic not too trendy, not too common name, in other words, I'm going to have to make one up. Sigh.
31.gif

Robbie: Yeah! We see her all the time! That's what makes it hard, we're a very close family, see each other a lot (especially with her posse of babies, they have birthdays all through out the year!) and talk constantly, which makes it even worse as she KNEW the names we liked. Eh.

So yeah, out of the four of us cousins who are married on that side of the family, there will be SIX babies born in 2009. Making the grand total of kids in that family to 11.

Fiery, I love the name Jack and thought for years that''s what I''d name a boy, but I have a nephew Jack so it''s out. We see him often or I might consider it. I suggested Jackson to DH forever ago, but he vetoed. Works out though since Sabine''s son will be Jackson!

Amber, that sucks! Do you see her often? If not, I''d use the name anyway! Am I remembering correctly that she has a set of twins, is pregnant with a set of twins and also has a surrogate pregnant with twins? I love the name Jacob too, but I''ve got another nephew named Jacob. Having grandbaby #10 on DH''s side sucks when it comes to choosing a name! At least our kiddos will have lots of cousins that live close by that they can play with (or that will baby sit them, lol)

PS erased my post, trying again:

Amber Yay!
36.gif
I love new friends lol

China-The shower is 3.5 hours away. I''m not worried about resting along the way but I don''t want to upset my OB. I haven''t had any signs of anything yet (for example BH) but sooo much can happen in two weeks so we''ll see.

Ebree-How do you like the Graco carseat? I''m thinking about getting Graco instead of Chicco now just because of the patterns.

I just added Robbie to my FB! I''m not sure who everyone else is, but if you see me on her FB please feel free to add me. I am wearing a light pink dress in my pic (w/ DH).
9.gif

Mandarine, I feel like you just can win because I was literally bawling at my midwife''s a few days ago about my lack of weight gain. I''m eating soooo much too! I feel like at least you can lose the weight afterwards, whereas if my babies are very small I will blame myself.
39.gif

you guys are good at finding people on FB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So if you find me, add me, because I would fail miserably at being a detective!...lol.

I''m friends now with Blen, Robbie, Neat and Amber. I''m wearing sunglasses in my picture and I''m along my sisters (we''re all wearing black t-shirts) :)

***

Thank you everyone about the weight gain comments. I know you''re all right and I just need to change that switch in my head...it''s hard because I just don''t feel good about myself...but at the same time it''s so silly because I know this is good!!!....ugh, crazy mandarine!!!!!!!

Peony don''t worry about it!! the babies will take what they need from you!...so don''t stress about it...mother nature is very smart and whatever the babies need, they will get :)
