Hi everyone. I have been lurking on this thread for a while because DH and I are planning to start TTC in a few months. I''ve enjoyed looking at everyone''s pictures of their babies, bellies and nurseries.

Diver, congratulations! Delaney looks precious, and you look amazing after going through L&D. Did you end up inducing or did you go into labor naturally?

Wow... seeing Diver and Delaney is so surreal when I try to think of that as me... in like a week!

Ella - Chrono has it right about DTD. DHs little guys can help soften up the cervix. Sorry about the scary trip to the hospital and the horrible doctor! I wonder if he was from another practice that helps to cover your docs? I know the peri group that works with my docs cover calls every like 6 weeks or so. I am glad everything is okay though!!! Keep those babies in there!!!!

We may be debating names while I am in labor too... oh well. Maybe we just need to see our babies first and then it will come to us!?

And Ella''s run in with the random doctor reminded me of this... my practice just hired a new doc that starts Oct 1. She is also on call that weekend. Who puts a new doctor on call that no one has met yet!? So if I go over my DD, I have the potential to have this doc deliver me, which is a little upsetting since I dont know what she is like... DH thinks I am being crazy.

I think labor on its own is enough of an unknown experience for me...

How crazy! Both DH and I had dreams about me going into labor last night. I guess it is on both of our minds. It is starting to feel VERY real. Our lives are about to change forever. DH was so cute. I was telling him that I will no longer get to sleep in but it will be worth it (even though I am a sleep addict). And he said, oh we will take turns so you will be able to still

I thought that was sweet.

tacori, mine were kind of all over. they really just felt sort of like menstral cramps in the beginning, of course i got the epi b/f they got really bad. But the one''s I did feel at the hospital were sharp stabbing pains that would just feel like it was squeezing my insides as tight as it could...the ones I felt at home when I was timing, didn''t really hurt, just a mild squeeze or pressure for a few seconds, then release..

With the boys is was tight and very painful all over my entire abdomen. With DD they were like severe cramps just below my belly button. I don''t know why, but, my labor was much easier with DD. Maybe because she was so much smaller???

the time as come for me to retire all my jeans unlil post baby

Hubby and I went out friday night and i still squeezed into my favorite paiges, but after a big dinner the first thing I did was get in the car and unbutton them. they were just tooooooo tight. first thing yesterday am, i got online and ordered some maternity jeans as well as a few shirts that were on sale. I''ve got a couple pair of bigger jeans that I can wear until the new one''s arrive later this week but the time has offically come to cross over into maternity wear....

what about you other first trimester or early 2nd trimester mommies to be? still wearing your clothes?
