Starset - Miss Mara already has her Louis Vuitton Coussin ( if I remember rightly!) and has her eye on another LV yummy! So she should be all set there!Date: 4/4/2006 11:05:13 AM

It''s smashing - I think you need to shop for a new purse to hold for when you''re showing off your new fireball
I''m guessing about six inches Lynn. If you get too close the pics turn out blurry. You can crop them though using photo software. The Canon SD550 has a macro mode but not a second super macro so you may want to look elsewhere.Date: 4/4/2006 2:33:23 PM

OOOOH, camera question! Regarding that Canon model, how close to the object being photographed can you get???! And does it have a super-macro mode? (I have seen/heard of some cameras that have, not just the regular macro mode, but a second [super] macro one, too.) Of course right now I have NO macro at all... one would think I would be happy someday with just ONE macro... but OHHHH NOOOO... I want it ALL, baby!!!

Firstly Mara, Congratulations on your new stone.
I too sympathise with the upgrade bug.
When I met my husband six years ago he said ''you don''t wear jewelerly''
I said no. Just costume stuff that''s fun that I can change when I get sick of it.
When we got engaged he thought he''d buy me 1.5ct diamond. I really really wanted a
2.0ct so the poor guy agreed. My husband''s business partners wife was really pipped that I
had a bigger diamond than hers so her husband had to get her a new right hand ring. Around 1.5cts.
After discovering Pricescope I decided the quality and cut of my stone wasn''t good enough so I upgraded
to a 3.02ct D SI1 excellent cut stone which I simply adore. The partner''s wife was livid. She then added
1.0ct to either side of her 1.5ct rhr so she now has a 3 stone.
For my 50th birthday a few months ago my husband knowing my fetish for diamonds bought me a 5.1/2 ct
tennis bracelet. The partners wife got a new tennis bracelet for Xmas and would you believe it was smaller than mine.
Next time I saw her she had a new tennis bracelet bigger than mine!!!!!
Not to be deterred I then ordered another 2.0ct diamond to match the original stone and will be getting my new 4.06tcw
earings tomorrow. They are stunning with diamonds on the claws and on Saturday night I will launch them at my step-sons
engagement party.
The funny thing is, the wife will be there. Poor Pete (the husband of her''s) I hate to think what he will have to cough up next
time.
So Mara, what I am saying is, there is never enough. I am already planning the rhr which I think will be a Pear. Other people will
always be jealous. My husband loves boats so I encourage his delight in them as that gives me the chance to buy more diamonds.
When others complain about my diamond fetish I remind them of Liz Taylor who was given a ruby and diamond tiarra from Richard Burton
one day when she was swimming in her pool. She slipped it on her head and dived back in the pool.
As I remind people. I''m not that extravagant.
So enjoy.
