I just wanna say -- the random comments thread

Gen X rocks! And I’m not just saying that because I'm a Gen Xer ♥️

Just heard my first Xmas song in the car:eek-2:! I had to turn that sh$t off! Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas and Christmas
music but it's just too soon!!!:P2:mrgreen2:

LOL my sister just sent me a link to Charlie Browns Christmas....

I hate to say this... but half of my sales since August have been Christmas stuff... Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled with the activity, but I have to admit it was hard packing up snowman dishes when it was still a hundred degrees out!

DH's back can be "temperamental" due to autoimmune condition. It was time to change to winter tires, so I did it! With supervision by DH (and we din't even squabble!), I changed the tires! Not angling to change over to summers next year, but glad I actually know how. Got to use power tool, and the torque wrench.

Could I do this again? Mmhmm. But I'd need supervision again, 'cause I let that technical stuff float right outta my punkin' haid. Stuff like how to set the torque wrench to 100 pounds, which adapters to use for bolts, etc. [Eye glaze over...]

Well, I guess it's good that people are planning early! I just cant with the Xmas music!

I'm impressed @SparklieBug ! I'm the same way with not retaining not-important-information (well, not important to me)!

HI:

I love olives stuffed with garlic or almonds. I could eat an entire jar in one sitting.

cheers--Sharon

I love them too, but maybe only a small jar!
They are so delicious, and much more interesting than the ubiquitous olives stuffed with red pimento.

I love dates stuffed with goat cheese wrap in bacon… and thick aged balsamic vinegar drizzled on top, with a side of red wine.

Bugs. I call them bugs. Cause they look like cockroaches. And if you eat several, they’re like magical cockroaches

Great tastes eat alike!!!!!

LOL. My fav Italian shop stopped carrying the really big jar I used to buy--takes up a lot of storage space I guess. But I found another brand that is just as yummy but the olives are smaller. My DH and I make short work of those products....LOL

I saw stuffed dates + bacon on a menu the other day..thought it might be yummy....never seen it before....

Yum! I love a "skewer" of cherry tomato, a tiny bocconcini, a basil leaf, and drizzled with excellent balsamic reduction. All this on a wooden toothpick.

I've made the dates stuffed with peanut butter dipped in dark chocolate...they're pretty good and I feel like I'm eating a healthier
dessert (which is probably questionable). But hey, anything wrapped in bacon!:lickout:
