OMG RMS, YOU ROCK!!! How did you find those?!?! I''m totally impressed.

Yep, that''s it!!!! Mine is a little bit big on me, because it''s a 14 (and since it''s a discontinued sample, I obviously couldn''t do anything about getting a smaller one!) So it hangs a quite a bit looser than it does on the girl in the pics (I wear an 8-10 in everyday clothes) but it''s actually not too bad. And I have PLENTY of time for alterations to achieve the perfect fit!

Thanks for finding the pics, RMS!!! I will get the pics I took up ASAP.

hehe....I just felt that we all needed to see your dress. I spent an hour and googled every combo of "Jessica Mcclintock, 22209, gown, dress, and Isadora". I almost gave up because every link was dead or had the same pic you found, then hit e-bay, searched under wedding stuff, and scrolled to the bottom of one of the ads!!! I am going to remember that.....ALWAYS SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM

I adore the lacing on the bodice....you definitely got a great find. Heck, for that price, you could even buy a second one to change into during the reception.

I totally loved my dress, and even got to wear it twice because we had 2 weddings. But it had no lace, and when I see all the gorgeous lacing on so many dresses around here lately, I wish I had gotten some too. Too late for me, so I am living it through all of you!

I feel pretty smart, that one on e-bay that has been altered and worn once is going for $275, and I got mine for $100 less than that! My mom was saying it must have been one of those "meant to be" things...makes me feel even more convinced that this dress is THE ONE.

I finally have pictures of me in my dress! They are not the best- just hanging out in my mom''s hotel room- but they show all the detail there is (not much!)

The first picture is the dress without the petticoat... do you guys think I can pull that off for the reception? It is a casual meal, no dancing and probably not a lot of walking around. This makes the dress a little longer, but I can hardly sit in a chair with all the undergarments! It''s a little close on time to find a second reception dress. Please let me know if it looks inappropriate, or like I forgot the rest of my underwear!

I know this makes me a dork, but I don''t understand where the train went. One pic has it and the other doesn''t. It doesn''t look like it was bustled for the second photo. Is it train detachable? If so, how is it attached to give that seemless appearance?

The train IS bustled under all those ribbons of satin. It''s pretty cool actually. It folds up like when you tuck the corners of your sheets under the bed.

Sorry gals, I had to go meet up with VelouriaL last night to wish her good luck on moving and see her brand new sparkly!!! She''s the one with the green tourmaline center stone and Michael E. designed diamond setting. She posts up in Colored Gems a lot. Her ring is FABULOUS.
