Now I really did it :((

Sorry peeps! Hubby got home right when I was on PS. And there's always something to do ahh!
Now onto the bling....I just purchased this gorgeous emerald diamond ring set in platinum and preloved. I just love it! The green really glows and it feels so comfortable. My hubby loves emeralds and he's smitten with it. I will wear it when we go to Ireland someday. Thanks for the love and support and bling encouragement. Here is she is...and she'll definitely need a name. 20200428_082209.jpg20200428_082217.jpg

Oooh this is gorgeous. Emeraldlicious! Emeraldelza? That's a mouthful
Emma?

@missy I wish worry were not a word; ,( Spain has prohibited leisure walks from the beginning, who can tell what difference did it make - there is no way to know: a couple of large cities are as bad as yours, Anadaluzia only just published numbers [Spain is intransparent] & there are a few death in this township of which I do not know anyone, but a neighbour does know of a friend of a friend.
It may well be that my work got me used to live with too much unknown out of which barely any argument can possibly stand [so one is ever excused], if not with having any dire decission to take out of it [I know what it takes to put out an open question - so this much I expect from whom I voted or not]

Good to see NIRDI not living up to its name. Fingers crossed!

There is a legal deadline for backyard fires at the end of the month, so I've been tearing down & burning ivy; this is as much sport as I can take & I do wonder how much could I lift? [kudos for passing the hundred, @marcy - how do you lift?]

I've just picked things from the house to cook (fennel risotto, after a paprika & dry pepper bean stew), so I am missing the grocers (I'll have to see if the feeling is mutual & put together a pasta primavera - this is the time)

Good night (I hope)

Your prose is like poetry. Such a please to read. Nite nite.

Bling dreams is right. Definately will be dreaming about that bling tonight.

Didn't sleep well last night..stayed up til 2(!) doing absolutely nothing and paid for it when the Pumpkalarm went off at 6am, like clockwork. Cannot wait for the dog door to be delivered (Thursday, I think). Installing it this weekend.

Otherwise, tired and crabby. Will post more tomorrow. In the meantime, enjoy an older, fun picture of Pumpkin at his sitters. Love how he photobomb on Ella's glamour shot.

Nighty night ladies.

Hi NIRDI’s!

@missy gorgeous sunset. Our burgers were quite tasty as were my taters. I hope to make tacos for supper tomorrow - as long as everything I need is in my pickup order. Glad your arm / shoulder is better - mine is the same plus my right knee is joining in on the conversation. Good thing I’m tough (or crazy). Darn that your dad’s birthday present was a few days late but that makes his birthday last longer. I think Omaha Steaks is getting slammed with orders because all of our orders have been slower than normal. Woo hoo Greg and his team’s ranking was really good; we all knew Greg ROCKED!!!

@Scandinavian I keep picturing your view and wine glasses. My moment of zen for the day.

@Austina I was checking webcams on my Earthcams app and looked at Abby Lane and saw it was very wet and raining. I totally get preferring to see those bangles in person at Whiteflash. Heck I am dying to go there myself maybe we can time it up. I have nieces in Houston we plan on visiting soon as well. One of them works at Johnson Space Center and can give us a private tour. I don’t blame Adam and Kim wanting to get married at city hall and celebrate with a party later. That would be exciting. Oh no to the heated flooring overheating. Can you shut it off; unplug it? How was the sauna? Thank you on my lifting.

@canuk-gal it sounds like you had a lovely day out and about. Thank you on my lifting.

@bling_dream19 ooh a new ring to share. I can hardly wait. I am also anxious for my earrings to arrive.

@Niffler75 what a fabulous ring; it glows. IMO there is nothing like the glow of a gorgeous emerald. Sweet.
@AV_ wow to backyard fires. Be safe. Thank you on my lifting. I was lugging around gallon jugs in each hand today like they were nothing. Enjoy that delicious stew.

@TechiieTechie sorry you had a short night. I hope that doggie door works like a charm. Hi Pumpkin.

Marty can officially open the gym on Friday. Poor guy has to wear a mask. We’ve been resisting and can’t find the real masks that protect you. They are opening gyms, salons, day cares and still restricting gathering of 10 or more people. Of course they have strict social distancing and cleaning requirements. Should be interesting.

Our house cleaner came today. Work was busy. I have a grocery order to pick up between 2 and 3 tomorrow. I have a meeting at 2 and at 3 so hopefully it goes smoothly to pick my stuff up.

I was so excited. I had an email arrive from Whiteflash today. It was just sending me a link to jewelers mutual if I wanted to insure my new jewelry. Such a tease.

Take care.

GM lovely ladies. It's wonderful Wednesday!

I don’t know if I mentioned we had a long FT session with Adam and Kim, and they’ve decided they’re not going to make any plans for the wedding next year, who knows what the situation will be. Adam thinks there could be be a second wave of CV, especially as they’re opening things up in Tx on Friday. They’ve also got the added complication that Kim’s Mum doesn’t have a passport, and with everything now being held up with the application process, well, they can’t really set a date. He thinks they’ll probably just go down to City Hall, then have a party afterwards. We’re fine with that, even if we can’t be there. We don’t think we’ll even get to Tx this year, not really much point going if we’re just going to sit there, and we‘d be worried about going to visit Shirley because of the baby.

On top of that, we could smell something odd in the orangery, and have just discovered that the fused switch for the underfloor heating was red hot and where the fuse is, that‘s all brown.

We‘re off for a sauna to relax before bed, and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day!

GM @Austina glad your FT session went so well and that you get to enjoy Adam and Kim that way. It really is amazing how we can stay in touch these days. I mean 20 years ago where would have been in terms of keeping in touch like this. It would have been solely by phone I think. I think as I am not sure when FT came into existence. Anyway I am sorry the wedding plans have changed but all that matters is they are together and are getting married and in the meantime everyone is remaining well and healthy. That is what natters. And you can stream the wedding if you like so that way you can all be there. I agree going to Tx this year doesn't make sense given Covid 19. Next year will be better for everyone I hope. Glad you had a relaxing sauna before bed and hope you enjoyed sweet dreams. Hugs.

@TechieTechie lol love how Pumpkin is photobombing Ella.
Hope you slept better last night and wake feeling refreshed and well. XO.

@canuk-gal glad you enjoyed a lovely bike ride and got to enjoy being outside in the sun. We enjoyed a nice walk and the weather was perfect. I wasn't warm wearing my face mask like I am going to be soon enough once the temps hit 70. But yesterday was a crisp cool day when we did walk in the morning. Going for a walk this AM too. Hope you get to be outside a bit as well today. Hugs.

@bling_dream19 SWOON! I love your new emerald. it's gorgeous. Have you thought of any names? So happy you are finding joy in your bling. Hugs and hope work is continuing to go smoothly and that your family is continuing to do well.

@Niffler75 From what I can tell I love your design. Cool and modern and clean. I love it. I am rubbish at CADs though. Is that the right word? I think it is and I am no help with those but I cannot wait for your new ring and hope the excitement is keeping your energy positive. Hope the family is well and life is continuing to be as calm as possible.

Agreed. Worry is the most troublesome (and worrisome lol) word in the English Language and no matter the language it is a word we all have to experience. This is life. The good the bad and the ugly. I am sorry there are cities as bad off as we are re Covid 19. I think only those people existing in those cities truly understand the threat and fear. It is good to be familiar and comfortable living with the unknown, as that too is life. Did you make that pasta primavera yesterday? How did it turn out? Hope it was yummy. XO.

Glad your burgers and taters were tasty. And hope your taco supper tonight is just as good. And that everything you need is in your pickup order. My arm and neck continue to feel better and I hope yours is improving and that your knee stops joining the conversation. You are tough. Sending you healing hugs. My dad's birthday is tomorrow and the steak order is arriving (supposedly) on Sunday. Better late than never. Thank you for the kind comments re Greg. He is excellent at what he does but sadly that is no guarantee against closing the department which is the first to go in a recession/depression so we shall see. One day at a time. And right now work is busy again for him so that is good. Though he doesn't have as much time for me now lol. But it's a trade off I will take. As long as it doesn't get crazy.

Super exciting Marty can reopen the gym and sorry about the mask requirement and I hope you can find something decent and protective. Yay for a clean house. We need help here lol. Oooh what a tease from WF. When are your earrings arriving? Good luck with your meeting at 2 and 3.
Hugs and have a good day.

Glad all is calm by you Nicky and may it remain that way. You are smart to stay home except for essentials that you need to get. Yes the raccoons sure look sweet but sometimes they don't act that way. I wish I could feed them to their heart's content but at least they get some food from us without breaking the food bank (usually lol). It's a balance as all things in life. Stay safe and be well. (((Hugs))).

@Slick1 hugs to you and the family and a very happy belated birthday to your dear son and daughter. Hope Chase is continuing to hold strong. Sending you lots of love and hugs. Be well. XO.

@junebug17 I think today is day 14 for you and you can go shopping for food now. Not sure though but either way hope you are enjoying a wonderful week. XOXO.

@sarahb thinking of you and hoping all is well. XOXO.

@Keeliamira (((Hugs))). I am guessing things are opening soon by you and hoping you can get the appointments you need. Hope the family is well.

@springerspaniel hope your week is going smoothly and all is good by you. XOXO.

@Poodles4me continued well wishes and lots of hugs.

@Scandinavian hope F is completely healed by now and that your mom and grandmother are well. XO.

We went for our walk in the AM yesterday and it was nice. Perfect weather. Cool crisp and bright. Today is overcast but we are going for a morning walk again because Greg's work is amping up and he also has a telemedicine call with his urologist late morning today. I am doing the 24 hour urine test today for the rheumatologist and dropping it off with my endocrinologist tomorrow AM if all goes OK today with the test. It's a pain to do and I did it before for mercury a few years ago. But it is more a hassle than I remember. For details I won't go into lol. Anyway the excitement here never ends what can I say.

Leaving you with a photo from our walk yesterday. Sending you all hugs and well wishes.

@marcy Fingers crossed for Marty & all else. Yes, it should be interesting; no idea what to expect of anything. I hope you will write & most news will be on the funny side.

@missy You are right to say that there was never a sense of dread here - to no one I know, & this certainly is a surprise for me, as a couple of people have every reason I don't; the neighbour with a new heart had her garden pruned back hard & added to, so now there is a new northern jasmine just infront of my window - I have a better view than she, so I owe a cake [or?], not that I dare get close to the good woman's doorbell.

Your prose...

It's been called many other names I never had the heart to reply to in full.

-

The day was wasted - they say warm weather, the high 20ºC's usual for this time of the year, are finally coming with the usual dry season. I have not went to greet the grocers, so that is for tomorrow & I will be taking the camera - it is such a beautiful walk, I'll never tire of it [could I have a piece? - not sure, the laws of the land are quite intricate, I hear, but this sort of property, I would own.]

@bling_dream19 There are so many halo rings, & I always notice the square ones [they are flowery - and flowers are so rarely square, unless made of stones, & the shape works] & the ones with twelve surround stones exactly. Yours must the first here to do both. The emerald color is a dangerous to start with!

Oooh this is gorgeous. Emeraldlicious! Emeraldelza? That's a mouthful
Emma?

Ooh I like Emma!! And you know I love when you add licious to anything! Emeraldzelda is great too..my hubby's face musical is Wicked. I shall tell him these names tonight and get his opinion! Thanks for the love and support always.

HOLY MOLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Such a beauty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me super luvs!

Yay!! Me loves your reaction @canuk-gal especially coming from you on the heels of your stunning spess pieces. Thanks for the shout out for the emerald beauty!

@bling_dream19 Oh my goodness your emerald is perfect. Hope you are super happy with it and it brings you much joy.
@missy Thanks for your feedback on my ring design. I should hear back on costings shortly. Yes I tend to go for a modern minimalist look and wanted the ring to showcase the stone. I have also ordered the two grey/ purple spinel to use as side stones.

We are all ok here, keeping our days relaxed and getting jobs done round the house to try to make the most of the time! I think setting ourselves some targets is stopping my brain turning to mush!

My continued thoughts are with everyone! We're a strong feisty bunch and we're doing fine! Take care everyone x

Hi @marcy thanks for the love of the emerald. I've never experienced a stone that glows and I'm hooked!

HI:

NIRDI shout out!

The weather was very fine today but I had car related errands so didn't get out for any exercise. But I did lift my tires in and out of my car (change from winter to summer) and that was a lot of work!

No so good news that my son needs a root canal after all. Acute pain in the tooth that was filled two months ago. He'll go in early tomorrow AM for this emergency procedure. With this shut down I am grateful his Dentist is available for emergencies. Anyway. Loads of fun. Got his Rx filled quickly by our helpful pharmacy.

My DH told me he is officially bored. Ya think?

cheers--Sharon

Hi NIRDI’s!

@Daisys and Diamonds are you having nice weather? Have you been baking?

@missy the tacos were good. We got most of our order at the grocery store. Glad you got in a nice walk. That is great your arm / shoulder is a little better. Right now I have several body parts joining in on the conversation; nag, nag, nag. That is great Greg is busy and I hope that continues. Scary times for sure. Beautiful tree.

@AV_ I always try to find something to laugh about; keeps me centered. Enjoy your walk tomorrow and please get us some pictures.

@bling_dream19 glowing gems are the best. Your ring is gorgeous.

@Niffler75 your ring sounds like it will be fabulous. I can hardly wait to see it.

@canuk-gal lifting tires is a lot of work. Mega dust to your son tomorrow; root canals are not fun.

I did hear from Whiteflash today expecting a ship date of May 26th. I can’t believe my earrings won’t be here for about a month. Oh well, not like I can go get a new sapphire ring soon either. I do need new shoes though. Marty picked up our grocery order this afternoon. Quite a few things were not in stock but we had everything to make tacos for supper. Our ice cream was in stock.

Take care.
Marcy

Your words are a thrill @AV_ and they mean a lot coming from you. I was wondering if this was a halo or a cluster and I think you said it best, as a square halo and very unique. I'm so grateful @stonewell sold it to me. And I agree this emerald color is a place to start and hard to ever beat. Hugs to you friends.

@canuk-gal Sorry to hear you son needs the root canal but happy he is getting seen pronto to get it sorted!

@marcy Thanks, looking forward to my first CAD ring project. I have to admit my drawing abilities are not that good and I want to make sure I've given enough info for the CAD designer. I can visualise what I want but getting it down on paper is another matter.
Anyhow waiting on costings. Somehow a bit worried they are going to say 'no we can't do that'.

GM lovely ladies! We are off to drop the sample to my endocrinologist's office in the city but just wanted to say a quick good morning.

@AV_ sounds like a beautiful view and you can always leave the treat on your lovely neighbor's doorstep and ring the bell and run. LOL.

@canuk-gal hope your son's root canal goes well.

@Niffler75 I agree goals keep us engaged. That ring is going to be gorgeous IMO.

@marcy glad the tacos were yummy. Hope your body's conversation with itself calms down.

@bling_dream19 you are so welcome and I think any of those names would be emeraldlicious.

@Tekate hope the meeting with your builder went very well yesterday. I am anxious to hear some good news.

We are off and I will come back later but leaving you with a lovely tree we encountered on our walk yesterday morning. A wonderful walk it was but today is wet and windy so after the doctor's drop off we will probably remain inside. Hugs to all of you.

We had an easy drive in and back and then actually went for a walk and got pretty wet lol. But it felt good to be walking even during the downpours.

Took a couple of pics on the drive for you.
The iconic Brooklyn Bridge and then a shot of downtown Brooklyn on the way home.

@Slick1 how is Chase doing?

@Scandinavian hope all is going well.

@TechieTechie how's Pumpkin doing? Any updates?

I am procrastinating doing my workout. I am pretty tired because I had to keep peeing in the container throughout the night so you can imagine it wasn't easy for me to get back to sleep as I had to then go into the kitchen and put it in the fridge. LOL just writing it down makes it seem so silly. Anyway must get motivated. Have a good day girls and hugs.

@missy, good to hear your shoulder is feeling better; sometimes these injuries just take some time to heal...which really stinks. I hope things work out ok with Greg's job and it's a good sign that he's busy. The video of Gracie and Oliver eating is too funny, they really do love to eat! Beautiful pic of the sunset and the color of that tree is amazing.

ETA And a very Happy Birthday to your dad!

Hi @Daisys and Diamonds , thank you for the good wishes and I hope you, Garry, and the kitties are doing ok.

@AV_, it's nice you have a pretty view now; hopefully one day soon you can bring your neighbor that cake!

@canuk-gal, sorry your son needs a root canal after all. I've had several and I'm sure he'll do fine. Hang in there, I know it's impossible for a mom not to worry!

@marcy, I'm wishing Marty well as he reopens. I guess precautions are just going to be a part of life for a while. I love the dangles you chose! The diamonds are just gorgeous. Ugh, sorry you have to wait until the end of May but it does give you something to look forward to at least.

@Austina, your front garden is really lovely, and lol to the bluebells showing up. So nice you'll be able to plant some flowers. I'm so sorry this virus has changed Adam and Kim's wedding plans...but they are together and happy, and that is the most important thing. So hard to make plans at this point. WF bangles are dreamy and I can't wait for you to get one.

@Niffler75, what a great pic of your son and the bird of prey. Pizza and a movie is the perfect way to spend a Sunday night. Omigosh, your cad is amazing! I really love that design. Love the bold, modern feel to it. I hope it all works out.

@bling_dream19 , I'm sorry your parents are worrying you a little but it sounds like you're doing all you can. Oh wow, I really love your new ring! It's perfect. I love emeralds and that color is my favorite for an emerald. It is absolutely beautiful!

@TechieTechie , I'm sorry about Pumpkin and I hope he's doing better soon. Great idea to install an inexpensive kitchen, will make life much easier. Gardening is a great idea, will feel good to do something you enjoy. I get feeling tired and crabby; have had some of those days myself. Feel better. Adorable pic of Pumpkin and Ella!

Our quarantine is over but we're not going to change too much of what we do. We did walk down to the beach yesterday...only a few people and they were far away. Dh was up early today so he went to the store, and he said it wasn't crowded.

Wishing everyone well!

Hi NIRDI’s!

@Niffler75 your drawings look great to me; I have absolutely no ability to draw. I can’t imagine they can’t make the ring for youo. People either love or hate me on their Pictionary team; my drawings are awful or awfully funny. Makes for some godo laughs anyway.

@missy again I love seeing trees in bloom; we still have branches and no hint of green yet. I totally enjoy seeing the Brooklyn Bridge and some of Brooklyn as well. Nice your trip was quick and you had a lovely walk as well. And ah one of the joys in life collecting expelled fluids in a jug for analysis. Glad that is done and delivered. How are you and Greg doing today? Happy Birthday to your dad.

@junebug17 yes precautions will be necessary for a while; I know Marty will get lots of cleaning in at his gym. I did hear from Vera today at Whiteflash; the settings company is in NY and not open right now so that will delay my earrings. Hopefully I do get them by the end of the month. Nice to getting out on the beach and being out of quarantine.

@AV_ luscious greenery there. Looks warm and like summer there. Enjoy!

Not much new with me. Dishes are done already and I am done with reports at work. It’s lunch time. Leftover tacos sound good. Marty is grilling steaks and corn on the cob for supper.

Have a great day.
Marcy

Hello lovelies

I thought I’d posted yesterday, yikes that’s old age for you

Glad you’re able to get out @junebug, and great that DH didn’t find the shops busy. I’d love to go for a walk on the beach right now, well not right now, because it’s raining, but you know what I mean

That’s good news that Marty can open up the gym again @marcy, not that this came at a good time for anyone, but just when he was up and running. I think it’s a good job to wear a mask, if only to reassure the gym users that he’s doing everything to keep them safe. Phooey to WF teasing you, and it’d be great to meet up there sometime. Love your emeralds, I really get mine out of the safe and start wearing them. This month has whizzed by, so hopefully the next one will too and then you’ll have your lovely earrings.

Wow, wow, wow @bling_dream19, your emerald is gorgeous, such a vibrant colour and the halo really sets it off.

I thought your CAD drawings were really good @Niffler75, far better than anything I could’ve come up with. I hope you get a good quote so you can go ahead and get your ring made soon. Has it been peeing down there?

Lovely scenery for your outing @AV_ it’s been cold and wet here the last 2 days.

Your poor DS @canuk-gal, hope the RCT goes well and get’s the problem sorted out once and for all.

I hope you had a better night @TechieTechie , I hate nights like that. How’s Pumpkin doing?

I’m glad you didn’t have a stressful journey to drop off your sample @missy, what a palaver having to pee in a pot  At least you’ve had lovely scenery for your walks, the trees are really spectacular. When do you get the test results? I read on another thread how stressed and upset your sister is, that must’ve been a hard conversation with her, but I’m sure she felt better being able to talk to you about it. We’ve had a lot of rain these last 2 day, great for the garden, but the temperature has really dropped, so it’s quite chilly here.

We haven’t done much either yesterday or today, just cleaning and cooking, and eating of course :D

The good news here is that we’ve flattened the curve, and they’re talking about possible easing of the lockdown in the next few weeks. I honestly don’t think it’ll make that much difference to us, we’re not going to be rushing to anywhere remotely busy, but it’d be nice to be able to see friends again.

Can’t believe another week is almost over, where’s the time going?

Big (virtual) hugs to all the lovely NIRDIs :wavey:

@Austina Yesterday we certainly had a lot of rain. Good for the garden though. Yes I am hopeful the costings for my ring will be ok and I can move forward. =)2 I am half expecting a few snags with my design but I am sure they will be resolved. I am on a steep learning curve with this stuff!

@marcy Hi! Yep pictionary is not my strong point either! I would describe myself as a 'frustrated creative'. I have tons of ideas but can't get them down on paper very well!

Hi @junebug17 Thanks for your kind comments. I am really working on thinning out my jewellery collection and using the money to fund some more thoughtful expensive projects. I am trying to find a reasonably cost effective way of completing projects end to end in the UK, from sourcing stones, CAD, casting and setting.

@missy Do you think you have managed to 'raccoon proof' the beach house or are you expecting more mischief?

These forums have been such a godsend for me particularly at this time. I look forward to catching on peoples news and photos! :appl:
As always, take care everyone x

Tacos and Taters and some other food that started with T. Oh my. Man, I am losing it ;)

Thanks for the inquiries. Trying to go to bed a bit earlier to get a decent night's sleep. But this time of year, my little devil gets me up around 5:30 (for his bio break) and I am someone who needs a solid 8 hours a sleep a night. So not quite fully rested yet. BUT, I finally broke down and ordered a really good puppy door, which should help immensely. If he can let himself out for the first 'run' of the day, I can sleep in until 6 or 6:30...and I'll be happy. Fingers crossed it arrives tomorrow so that I can install it over the weekend.

He's still limping a bit, so I need to gear up for a couple of weeks of leash walking. Poor guy is so used to an hour of running a day, the fenced in portion of my back yard looks like the surface of the moon :)

Thanks for the push on installing the kitchen. I'm just on the fence because I was thhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhis close to moving back to my home state before COVID hit. So I hate to dump any more money in the house. But I have all the appliances and know exactly what cheap cabinets to get. But there is a lot of rearranging to do before that can even happen, and even that seems daunting right now.

@missy thank you for your daily pictures. Always brightens my day.

@marcy Your emeralds are pretty. I love them, but I'd want a huge honking one and I'm sure I'd crack it. I need the stonethatlookslikeemeralds ;)

@junebug17 Please stay safe going to the beach. My dad is in FL and I am so scared that he is going to catch it (it's 82 and has had strokes, so he's very risk). Be safe and well :)

Off to wind down. Yay tomorrow is Friday (not that we can tell days apart right now...hah hah).

@Austina @marcy Arrgh, my pictures are no good, the walk looks like a well kept botanical garden of archaic agriculture - there are springs all around the path, full & very musical now, likely all to be ry next week. Summer is here, sure enough - heading into the 30ºC.

I keep waking at these ungodly hours.

NIRDI is so good!

GM lovely ladies and happy FriYAY!

Glad all is OK by you. I agree many of us are fighting battles others do not know about and that is why I don't judge others. No one knows the entire situation and unless one has walked in their shoes...

I am looking forward to your ring project.

Our quarantine is over but we're not going to change too much of what we do. We did walk down to the beach yesterday...only a few people and they were far away. Dh was up early today so he went to the store, and he said it wasn't crowded.

Wishing everyone well!

Thank you Junie. My dad turned 86 yesterday and we were sad we couldn't see him but I am thankful he and my mom are OK so far. Glad you got to go to the beach yesterday and glad it was relatively empty so keeping 6 plus feet apart was easy. And sweet the supermarket wasn't crowded when your dh went shopping yesterday. How are your kids doing? How is your sister doing? Sending good thoughts and hugs your way.

Not much new with me. Dishes are done already and I am done with reports at work. It’s lunch time. Leftover tacos sound good. Marty is grilling steaks and corn on the cob for supper.

Love your emerald jewelry Marcy. Gorgeous. Greenlicious. Aww I am sorry your earrings are going to take month but oh think of the delightful anticipation. Thank you for the birthday wishes for my dad. We are doing OK thank you. How's your body today? I hope it isn't talking much. Nice dishes were cleaned quickly yesterday and hope the corn on the cob and grilled steaks were tasty last night. Sending you hugs.

Can’t believe another week is almost over, where’s the time going?

The time is flying by indeed. Not sure when I will get the test results. Our scenery is gorgeous and it is rejuvenating smelling and seeing all the beauty around us. My sister is working as she is essential and so is her dh (albeit he is working mainly from home and only goes in once or so a week) and life is just busy and stressful for them. Her youngest is graduating and my sister is disappointed for her as she was to go on a special trip (as she was chosen to do so because she is a top student) and other special activities that have all be canceled. My sister is disappointed for her but my niece is so brave and tells my sister don't worry. But I get what my sister is feeling. My youngest niece is very shy and doesn't have a lot of fun things happening in school for her so this was going to be very special. And now she is missing out. But anyway the critical thing is everyone remains well and there will be other opportunities g-d willing. I am concerned for my sister's well being as she is working hard.

I am glad the curve is flattened by you and you are smart not to rush out and go back to life as normal. Slow and steady. Stay safe and have a good day. XO.

@AV_ gorgeous scenery. I hope you enjoyed your trip into town yesterday. Hugs.

@bling_dream19 how are you? What are your weekend plans? XO.

@TechieTechie I am sorry Pumpkin is still limping. Glad you got a good puppy door and I feel you on your kitchen dilemma. Thank you for enjoying my photos. Hope you got a good night's sleep. XO.

@Slick1 hope Chase is continuing to hold his own and hugs to you and the entire family. XO.

We enjoyed a good day yesterday and as usual it went so quickly. When we were walking yesterday we made a quick supermarket stop and I was delighted to find they had a new flavor from my favorite supermarket ice cream I had been wanting to try so I got 2 pints of each. Vanilla and Pistachio the newest flavors. Sweet. Deciding when we are going to head to the shore. Not sure. And continuing to take things one day at a time. Sending you all well wishes and hugs.

Leaving you with Gracie in a box. What is it with cats and boxes? :cheeky:
