GM girls and happy Monday and last week of winter!

@marcy I am glad to hear Marty is doing relatively well considering and may his shoulder keep improving. Hope your part time job is enjoyable and maybe the extra money can be used for bling? Not trying to enable or anything...:cheeky: Thanks for the hugs and big hugs back.

@springerspaniel I am excited for you and counting down the days to your freedom from that unpleasant situation. OMG Freddie is the most adorable. Please hug him from me and please hug Clyde too. Thank you for enjoying my photos and I am very pleased they lift your spirits. Being outside surrounded by beauty everywhere lifts my spirits too and helps me get through the challenging times. I am so happy to share it with you.

@Jemi Kine is a little rascal but a most precious one. Big hugs to him and you and enjoy your time in France.

@mrs-b big hugs and bucketloads of well wishes to you and Tim.

@canuk-gal keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers and sending gentle hugs your way.

@bling_dream19 good luck this week. I am sending you so many well wishes and healing hugs. ((((HUGS)))).

@Slick1 have a wonderful week. Big hugs.

@MamaBee safe travels and hope you had a good weekend. XOXO.

@Tekate Great Kate, sending lots of love and hugs your way. Why is Texas so far away?

@Austina hope you had a relaxing weekend knowing your money was finally safe. Hugs and have a lovely Monday.

Hi to everyone else. We had a good hike yesterday and the weather was splendid. Cold but sunny. Today is a bit warmer than yesterday and sunny too. I have a medical appointment zoom call in the late afternoon and then my zoom call with the girls. Two weeks in a row. But we have a lot to talk about lol. It's a lot for me today two long calls back to back so not sure how it is going to play out. We shall see. Enjoy a marvelous Monday girls and lots of love to my friends here.

And we ended up at the beach at the end of our hike. The ocean is a comforting and tranquil beauty even when crashing to the shore. There is a peacefulness in that somehow.

Hello lovelies

@Jemi I had to laugh at Kine escaping on the flight, perhaps you should’ve called him Houdini! It certainly helps pass the time when you can chat to other travellers, that’s how we met Bob & Shirley all those years ago. We were waiting to board the flight home in DFW and started chatting, found we were seated next to each other, and talked all the way across the Atlantic.

That’s why I prefer to drive @MamaBee, at least I’m in control. Your journey sounds scary, hope it‘s a less stressful one on the way home.

Not long to go now @springerspaniel, onwards and upwards to better things. Freddie is adorable, such a handsome boy.

Keeping you in my thoughts @canuk-gal and hoping you’re coping with your loss.

 Spare money for bling sounds like a plan @marcy, not that we’re a bunch of enablers :shifty: Your new knitting project sounds like a big one, the biggest thing I’ve ever knitted was a jumper with a highly complicated pattern. It was a gift and came out so well, I didn’t want to give it away, but I did, then couldn’t face knitting another one for myself.

Hoping things are stable with you @mrs-b and that Tim is doing OK.

How’re your projects coming along @bling_dream19, I bet you’re excited to see them finished.

Lovely photos @missy, the weather’s been really nice here too, glad you were able to get out and enjoy the weekend. I hope your medical call went well, and you had fun chatting with your friends.

Latest house report is that there ‘should’ be lots of activity this week, stucco, stonework, cabinets so things are moving on pretty quickly now. We’re going tomorrow to see what’s happening.

We had a lovely relaxing weekend, catching up on all the missed sleep of the past couple of weeks.

Did the food shopping today and enjoyed sitting outside for a while.

Big love and hugs to you all, :wavey:

Happy Terrific Tuesday girls! Just a quick good morning.
Lots to do today and if I have time I will be back.

Hi @Austina glad all is going smoothly and cannot wait to hear more house updates. What an exciting time.

@bling_dream19 good luck tomorrow. Keeping fingers and toes crossed for you.

@canuk-gal continued gentle hugs and warm wishes.

Hi everyone else.

My medical appointment went as well as it could have and she needs more stuff to be mailed to her to make a final decision about needing a certain heavy duty med for me. So lol the debate continues.

We had a great hike yesterday and then I had the marathon zoom calls. The zoom call with my friends was enjoyable and the zoom call with Dr L went as well as it could've.

Off to see my hand surgeon and then hopefully some fun later.

Enjoy a marvelous day girls. XOXO.

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!

@springerspaniel hang in there--you are almost outta there!

@Austina WOT a relief!!!!!!!!!!!!! But it doesn't give you much confidence in those holding your $$$$! And great news on the house progress.

@missy hope your med plans work out. I am sorry for the never ending frustration and struggle on this subject.

@marcy really ENOUGH snow already!!

@Jemi LOL to your little munchkin escaping on the plane. I would have LOL if I saw a little pooch loose!!! And your Granddaughter is a beauty!!

@Tekate Hola! How time flies--and Auti is so sweet!

Had a nice walk to today--breezy but warmish. (13C). Was looking through old photos yesterday--good memories but did trigger sadness. Watched "To Sir with Love" last night. Gosh I love that movie.

Keep well and safe folks.

cheers--Sharon

Hi NIRDI's!

@missy thank you for the well wishes on Marty's shoulder - it probably won't ever work quite the same since they had to attach tendons further down his arm but he is doing great with it. I did enjoy my few hours of work today as I felt like I knew what I was doing. I will have to work at this pace for months before I can get enough money for bling. They don't take taxes out either so I'd best just save what I get. I hope they get your meds figured out soon and the appointment with the hand surgeon went well today. That is great your marathon zoom call was enjoyable. Thank you for the lovely pictures of that ocean. Gorgeous!

@Austina I told Marty I didn't know what I want for my birthday in a few months - a new lens or new jewelry. I want them both but now that I'm not working and everything is going up in price I don't feel like I should do that. My old ways are hard to break. Those big knitting projects are fun but definitely you don't want to repeat them. My biggest project was an aran pattern full length poncho - I gave it to good will when we moved and wish I still had it on cold days. I honestly hadn't worn it for years. I have about 8 inches on the throw done and I have to make it long enough for the over 6 feet guys in the family. Watch my niece who isn't even 5 feet will end up with it. I hope they are working on your house and get it done for you SOON!!!

I got around early today since I had a little training session with my new job this morning. After that I updated 2 articles for them and then volunteered to work on two more tomorrow. I am meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow but don't have any other plans for the day. I went and picked up take out for lunch today. We had the house cleaned today so I try to keep the kitchen clean for one day anyway. My keyboard arrive and I am loving having this giant monitor to work on things.. What's funny is my desk almost looks like that I had a work. We had Marty's office phone cut off and then our home phone (I know how old school) wouldn't work. I hated to call while we were working today because we'd probably loose the internet. We finally got it straightened out with chat this afternoon. She "magically" fixed it and I'm guessing they just shut off both phone numbers. Marty is out looking at a bigger spot for his gym. Price sounds pretty reasonable and it's way better parking there. It's about 200 feet more but it won't have an office which cuts in to his current 700 square feet. I hope he likes it. His current lease runs out this summer.

I am excited today I can eat strawberries again - I couldn't eat anything with seeds for over a week after my periodontal procedure. Yay. Hurry up suppertime.

Take care.
Marcy

@canuk-gal it is fun but bittersweet looking through photos. I have been thinking of you and sending comforting thoughts your way. Glad you had a nice walk and I am not sending you snow but we have some coming tomorrow night. Last year at this time we had 36" of snow in that big blizzard so I guess a few inches is better than that.

Hello lovelies

I’m glad the photos brought back good memories, but quite understand that with that came sadness at your loss @canuk-gal. Yep, it’s frightening that so much could go astray with little effort to find it. Glad you were able to get outdoors to clear your head.

 36” of snow @marcy, that’s unimaginable to me, small mercies that it’s ’just’ a few inches now. You sounds as busy as when you were working, but it’s good to keep the old grey matter ticking over. Honestly, I can never think of anything I really want and would use/wear as gifts, I see lots of things I like, but then the practical me reminds me I really don’t need it  Glad you got your phoneline sorted out, I really wonder what we did before the internet!

Oy to more to-ing and fro-ing over meds @missy, why is nothing ever straightforward? Let’s hope she can get you what you NEED rather than what the insurance co. is prepared to pay for.

All of the doors are in, and the architrave on, and the carpenter was there cutting all the trim and putting them in the rooms ready to be installed. All of the walk ins have their interior fittings, and the pantry is all shelved too. The house next door has their ’brown’ coat of stucco on, so ours should be next. Keep your fingers crossed it all keeps on track.

It’s a beautiful day here, we went out to look at gym equipment this afternoon ready to get back in the swim of things when the house is ready.

Sending big love and hugs to all the NIRDIs :wavey:

GM girls and happy wonderful Wednesday!

Wow what a morning it has been already. So I was wide awake from Midnight to 4AM and finally fell back to sleep at 4 but at 5AM Greg said time to get up (I had blood work this morning and we had to leave by 6:10AM to get there at 6:30AM). Well, I said no I want to sleep a bit more. Figuring I would wake in 45 minutes and have time to get to Lab Corp on time. OMG so next thing I know it is 6:25 AM. Oy to the vey. I yelled at Greg (he was awake but just a few minutes before me) and we ran out of the house with me getting dressed within a minute literally. In the car by 6:30AM Got there at 6:45AM (made record time haha) and there were 5 people ahead of me. Lab Corp opened at 7:02AM (2 minutes late and by that time the line was 16 people long) and I was out of there by 7:18 AM. Lab Corp rocks. Now I just hope they did the right lab work because they got me mixed up with someone else there and that took a few minutes to straighten out. If they did the right lab work and billed the right organization (not my insurance company please) then I will be very pleased. We shall see. What a morning though.

@bling_dream19 wishing you the best of luck today. Keeping you in my thoughts and sending lots and lots of well wishes your way and lots of love. XOXO.

@marcy have fun with your friend today and sweet that you are enjoying work. Haha I hear you on needing many months of work before you can buy bling. The dollar doesn't go as far as it used to that is for sure. Glad you updated two articles. You always make a very efficient schedule. And sweet the house is clean. That reminds me our house definitely needs some cleaning. I have sort of let that go this past week with all that has been going on but that is no excuse. Yay for being able to eat strawberries again. I am allergic if I eat more than one but I do love them.

@canuk-gal I adore that movie too. Sidney Poitier. I had the biggest crush on him when I was younger. Glad you enjoyed a nice walk and some warmer weather. Sweet.

@Austina yay things are coming together with the house. Very nice and may it continue to go smoothly.

@MamaBee hope you and the family are all better today. Healing vibes.

@springerspaniel keeping good thoughts for you and your new job and sending you so many good wishes.

@mrs-b thinking of you and continued healing vibes.

@Tekate great Kate hope all is well and sending you lots of love.

Whew, OK, I am finally relaxing for a moment. Greg is about to leave with the cats for a check up with Debbie so a very long drive and day today. Bobby and Tommy are going this time. I have lots to do at home so I am sure the day will go fast. It's a gorgeous day and feels like Spring is really here. For now.

Yesterday my hand surgeon visit went well. It is just OA and a bone spur in my finger. I'll take that. No surgery necessary. Whew.

Leaving you with two photos from our hike yesterday. Another gorgeous day. We saw so many chubby happy seals yesterday. I was in heaven.

Can you see the chubby beautiful happy seals? Swoon!

Hi NIRDI’s!

@Austina that blizzard last spring was something. I haven’t seen that much snow at one time for maybe 15 years. Last time we had a massive blizzard Marty was snowed out in LA and I was completely snowed in at our house. Front and back door was drifted in, garage door was drifted in and my parents were out of town or my dad would have dug me out. Some friends of ours sent their teenage son and his friend over to dig me out. Welcome to Wyoming! I’m like you I don’t need to buy something for myself; I shop out of boredom. I have more stuff than I should! Nice that they are getting so much done on your house. Have they given you an updated closing date yet? Yay for a lovely day.

Hi bling_dream19

@missy sorry you had such a short night. That’s great you got in and out of the lab so quickly. I did enjoy lunch with my friend. She filled me in on all the stuff I don’t miss about work. Darn you can’t eat strawberries. My strawberries were delicious and my friend picked a Mexican restaurant for lunch so I broke up a few chips and made sure to chew on the right side. Yay! Glad to hear you won’t need surgery on your finger; I bet that gets sore though. The seals are having fun!

I was busy today. I updated a few articles, did a quick research project for my new job and now have another project to work on. Looks like for now anyway I can put in as many hours as I want.

Marty was zonked out on the couch when I got back from lunch. He woke up early too. His MWF are long. He gets at the gym at 4:30 am and doesn’t get home until about 9 pm. He works his day job at home in between.

Take care.
Marcy

Hello lovelies

It’s been a glorious day here!

Oh my goodness @missy, just look at those chunky monkeys basking! Reminds me of when we were in New England on a cruise, I can’t remember the port now, but we saw lots of seals sunning themselves. Ugh I feel your pain, I think I had about 5 minutes sleep last night. We were up early to go to the dog park as the forecast for today was hot, hot, hot! Fingers crossed your lab work is A OK and there were no snafus this time.

The builders are now saying May for closing @marcy, and as long as everything stays on track, it looks like it could actually happen! Oy, Marty has a really long day, does he power nap at all?

After the dog park we went to Costco, we wanted to look at the mattresses as they do adjustable beds at very good prices, and also the garden furniture as we didn’t bring most of ours with us.

After lunch we went up to the house, and they’ve installed all the skirting boards, and half of the house had stucco! From there we went to the farmer’s market, which is held every Wednesday afternoon. We had a good wander around, bought some local produce, tasted a few goodies and chatted with the stall holders.

All in all, a good day.

Hoping you’re all keeping well and having a good week :wavey:

@Austina that is great you could be in your house in May. I do find Marty napping more than I thought he did but I didn't know because I was at work. He is in the basement anyway and I'll go down and find him napping in a recliner. He doesn't sleep well unless he takes a Tylenol pm. You had a very busy day.

Blast!!

For MONTHS I'd planned to have my 10,000th post on the NIRDI thread, and in the end it went to some random thread about a ring!

But suffice to say....

I am now a Super Ideal...er...Rock.

I'll take it! And I now consider myself to be amongst superlative company! @marcy, @missy, @junebug17, @MamaBee and @canuk-gal - I hope to shine as brightly as all of you do.

Will write a catch-up post tomorrow, but in the meantime - love to all and....

NIRDI shoutout!

GM girls and happy Thursday!

@Austina yay for more progress. And yes aren't the seals super sweet. I adore them. Ugh I am sorry you only slept a short short bit the other night. I definitely feel your pain. Last night was still challenging but a bit better and I hope you had a better night's sleep last night.

@mrs-b I have no clue how many posts I have. Too many lol. Happy 10K!

@marcy glad you enjoyed lunch with your friends and strawberries. Yummm
Glad you updated a few articles and too bad Marty's MWF are too long. I am tired just reading of his long days. It is sweet you can work as many hours as you want.

@Slick1 hope you're having a wonderful week.

@bling_dream19 yay for a hopeful update. My fingers and toes are crossed for you and thinking good thoughts.

@MamaBee hope you are all feeling better. My throat feels a bit dry but hopefully that is all it is.

@canuk-gal continued gentle hugs and well wishes. I hope you and your family are finding comfort and support and love.

Hi everyone else. Waiting for Tommy's and Bobby's blood work from yesterday's visit with my sister. The checkups went OK. Bobby needs dental work and we will schedule that. Just hoping their blood work comes back OK. And mine too haha. The family that does blood work together. Furry babies and all. :)

We had a good walk on our beach yesterday afternoon after Greg got back with the kitties. I love our beach and feel so lucky it is right in our back yard. It was such a beautiful mild day with lots of sun. Combined with the sea air and waves it was purrrfect. Enjoy a terrific Thursday and be well. XOXO.

Our backyard beach.

Today is raining here so we are running errands but wishing you all a beachy beautiful Thursday.
No matter the weather.

LOL I am not sure having that many posts is a good thing...
But thank you for the love and right back at ya! XOXO ❤️

Hi NIRDI's!

@mrs-b congratulations on 10,000 posts. Think of the time we've spent on PS! I hope you are doing well. Of course you shine brightly. The space station can see a glow from all the NIRDI bling!!

@missy I was just going to tell you how many posts you have but @mrs-b beat me to it. Like I said - think of the time. I'm about 1/2 of your posts. I know I spend too much time on here, yet I keep coming back. Sending mega dust for all good results from the multiple blood tests. Marty isn't minding his extra hours for the gym; he said if he wasn't doing that he'd be laying on the couch. He still isn't up to the hours I did when teaching and working; that was probably over 100 hours each week. No wonder I had tons of free time after I quit teaching.

We had about an inch of snow. The sun is out now though so it should melt and it will get a bit above freezing.

I updated some stuff for my "new" job and I am feeling more confident I know what I'm doing. I hadn't done my gym bookkeeping for a few days so did that too. That took me all of 5 minutes.

Think I'll cook burgers for lunch and I have to lift this afternoon. I totally enjoyed another bowl of strawberries today. I picked up a peach for each of us but it seems early for good peaches.

Take care.
Marcy

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope this note finds you all safe and well.

Bright beautiful day--went for a walk. My DH took our tapes from the old camcorder and had the stuff put on a stick. We were watching old videos--all our family was recorded. Bittersweet for sure. But I' m glad he did that.

Needed new tires, apparently when you have one tire that is compromised--you need to replace all four! Run flats, not cheap!!

@marcy no just NO to more snow!
@missy glad the cats are AOK!
@Austina we had our final walk through today for what seemed to be the endless renos. Soon you'll be walking through yours!

cheers--Sharon

Hello lovelies

I hope all the work is up to snuff @canuk-gal and yes, fingers crossed, we'll soon have a home of our own! I'm glad you were able to transfer all the videos so you can still watch them.

Ugh to snow @marcy, I hope it's all melted now. I'm not surprised Marty catnaps, sounds like he's working too hard. I'm sure you're doing a great job, and they're lucky to have you. to your hard work on the gym's account, I hope Marty's paying you well.

Yay to 10,000 posts @mrs-b, I've still a way to go.

I hope you're all covid free @MamaBee and feeling better.

Fingers crossed that the blood work comes back A OK for you all @missy. Boo to a rainy day today, it's been quite dull here today too. Do you miss the city at all now you've lived so long at the beach? I imagine it's so peaceful there and you don't miss the city sounds.

More good news today, our kitchen has arrived  There seemed to be a lot of it, and it was all packaged, so I couldn't really see it, but it's here and on time.

They'd nearly finished the stucco when we went this afternoon, so thing's are really moving along.

Hope all the lovely NIRDIs are having a good week :wavey:

Good evening girls..I hope you are all
doing well. I did three antigen tests..but they are negative. I feel awful..I’m also running warm..not technically a fever but about two points over my normal. My nose is a faucet….and a bad headache. I’m hoping it’s better tomorrow. S has a scratchy throat but that’s it. David looks fine.
I’m still wearing my bling.. :)
XOXO

GM girls.
Bad news and good news.
Which do you want to hear first?

Bad news: NY and NJ and other states are limiting telemedicine and also putting restrictions on meds shipped out of state. Bottom line I am in trouble and need to find an HRT provider in one of my states. If I cannot I am so scr***d. Sigh.

Good news: the insurance miraculously approved my bone med (costing the insurance company 4K a month) so if I want it I can get it. BUT now I am not sure what to do. It is a daily injection in the stomach. Very painful. One of my specialists said I should wait til I need it more. One said I should go for it. So I am in a quandary. If I cannot get HRT (and please do not let that come to fruition) I will definitely go on this med but it won't take the place of what HRT does but it can help my bones like HRT does. So yeah not a great situation with HRT right now. And no notice. MY telemedicine provider cannot ship T out of their Ohio state. OMG. They were able to til last week. So laws are changing fast and very restrictive. I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone. There is no one here willing to RX HRT injections and that is my first choice delivery method. I cannot do the patch since I am allergic to all adhesive.

Tommy's blood was OK just need to tweak his thyroid meds again.
Bobby's blood sugar was high but he was stressed so we are seeing Debbie in 3 weeks for dental work for Bobby and will recheck. She couldn't check his urine as he had peed in the carrier on the way to her so hopefully this time she can. Urine is not affected by stress but blood is? I am not sure on that one but we need to see if it was high purely due to stress. Speaking of which my blood sugar was high too. I was stressed too because I woke up late that day so I am hoping that is why. Will recheck when I see my endo end of April.

@MamaBee praying you don't have Covid. Hugs to you and your family. XOXO

@Austina it's weird. I don't miss the city. But I am not ready to give up our gorgeous apartment there. Yay for your kitchen arrival. Any idea when it will be ready for you to move in?

@mrs-b let's catch up OK. I will email you. Hugs

@bling_dream19 big hugs and bucketloads of healing vibes. Happy FriYAY.

@Slick1 any weekend plans? Hugs.

@canuk-gal continued hugs and well wishes. Keeping good thoughts for you. XOXO.

@Tekate great Kate big hugs.

@marcy hope the week went well and all is going smoothly. The weekend is upon us and you are back to having a weekend and week differentiation haha. Happy weekend and happy FriYAY.

@springerspaniel very close...I hope you are happy and excited. My girlfriend told me she is ready to quit medicine. It is a dire situation. We are losing so many good doctors. :(

Hi to everyone else. We ran errands yesterday and as usual it went fast.
Today is a hiking day yay.
Enjoy a happy FriYAY all.
XOXO

@missy - my insurance is jerking me around, too. I've been on Eliquis for afib, as Xarelto makes me bleed too much. Suddenly, United has decided they will not cover Eliquis for me. Bastards. Without insurance, Eliquis is around 2k for prescription. So I'm back on Xarelto. Which is, without insurance, around 2k per prescription. How on earth this helps them is beyond me.

I feel for you, sweetheart!

Also - received your email, will respond. ox

Hello lovelies

Ugh @mrs-b, these insurance companies, doesn’t seem to matter if it’s home insurance or medical, they always find a way to make life as difficult as possible.

Oh no @missy, I’m sorry to hear about the meds not being available out of state. You’d think in a country the size of the U.S., meds would be available in every state. I’m glad the other meds have been approved should that be your only alternative. Stress can cause all sorts of issues, so perhaps not totally unbelievable. Hopefully, at the next check, things will have settled down

Woohoo @springerspaniel, hope your last day went well and you’re all set for your new job.

Fingers crossed is’s ‘just’ a cold @MamaBee and you remain negative.

We decided to go up to the house today, and oh my goodness, the kitchen units had been fitted already, the bathroom cabinets are in, BUT the ones in the guest rooms are NOT what we ordered. We ordered stone which was grey and we’ve got smoke which is brown, they’re not going to go with the grey wall and floor tiles at all. Worst case scenario, I’ll paint them, it’s not a big job, unless they can be replaced or the builder can paint them. The finishing touches were being put on the stucco, and they’ve started the stonework. The casings were almost done on the windows, and they look great, a really lovely finishing touch. If they keep up this pace, they should make their end of May timeline.

Wishing all the lovely NIRDIs a great weekend, take care :wavey:

Hi NIRDI's!

@canuk-gal how nice to be watching old family movies and videos. Those are priceless. It is definitely bittersweet but so worth the memories. Sadly I think both of us have a few more months of snow. It's sunny here today but chilly wind.

@Austina my pay sucks as Marty's accountant but the hours are good. Your kitchen stuff looks fabulous! I am glad they are making visible progress on your house. Loved seeing the pictures of your cabinets.

@MamaBee I hope you feel better soon! Glad you are wearing your bling - it can't help but cheer you up. I wore my EC yesterday and thought of you.

@missy I am so sorry about the telemedicine issues - that is nuts! What difference can it make shipping it from one state to another? I know - no one asked me but that is crazy. Good deal to get your meds approved but I understand the reluctance to give yourself a painful shot all the time. Hoping Bobby's next tests come out okay and his dental work isn't too stressful for him.

@mrs-b I am so sorry about your insurance no longer paying for your medicine. I fear this will only get worse what they reject.

I only "worked" 5 minutes today and didn't ask if they had anything for me today. The boss was busy today with her grandsons. If I don't get anything on Monday I will ask. Marty and I met 2 of my nephews south of town for lunch today. It was fun. Marty had to get on a call for work coming home but didn't miss meetings that way. I've been knitting most of the day and watching movies. It's like I'm retired again today. Ha Ha.

Take care.
Marcy

GM girls and happy Caturday Saturday!

Things might be looking up but we shall see.
There are two other telemedicine providers that can ship to NY and NJ. For now. Laws are changing so it is unpredictable. But I guess I have to take it as it comes and figure it out as I go. So for now I have to decide between the two providers. I filled out all the paperwork for both and am just trying to make the best choice. Which can change as time goes on so a bit frustrating. But what's my mantra? One day at a time. :)

Good morning sweet @bling_dream19 so happy to hear good updates and hope that continues. I am keeping you in my thoughts every single day and hope you can feel my hugs and love.

@mrs-b good grief. I am so aggravated for you and I get it completely. It is just too much. These darn insurance companies. Make ZERO sense. I feel your pain and hope somehow common sense (so not common) prevails. Can you appeal? Big hugs and much love going your way.

@Austina your kitchen is looking lovely! And may the rest of the building go smoothly. I agree don't sweat the small stuff. You can always repaint or even retile. In the grand scheme of things not a huge deal relative to all else you have been through. But yes annoying nonetheless. However it is looking so lovely and I am very excited for you. XOXO.

@canuk-gal big hugs and lots of love to you and your family. Keeping you in my thoughts.

@marcy glad you can work on your own terms. Best of both worlds. Retired when you wanna be and working when you wanna work. PUrrrrrfect. As the kitties would meow. Haha. And yes I agree with you, it is crazy! I always want to hear your thoughts so you don't need to wait to be asked. Just saying your thoughts are always welcome by me. I am glad you enjoyed some time with your nephews yesterday. That is sweet. Have a sweet weekend. Hugs.

@Slick1 happy weekend sweet friend. Be well and enjoy a lovely weekend. XOXO.

Hi everyone else. We had a good day yesterday. Got to walk/hike and chat with friends and play with some furry babies. NO matter how many furry babies we have I always love saying hello and sharing my love with more. Always so excited to see a new furry baby too. Haha.

Leaving you with Oliver and Gracie when their daddy got home from the post office yesterday haha. They are too much.

And @springerspaniel took a photo of "our" tree as we were walking/hiking yesterday on our local trail. The tree is looking good fingers crossed. Good luck Monday! I am keeping good thoughts for you at your new job!

Two different perspective shots.

Happy weekend all! Enjoy and be well. XOXO.

Hi NIRDI's!

@missy definitely one day at a time. I hope one of those telemedicine providers turns out to be perfect for you! LOL to Purrrrrrrfect - kitty speak! Love the picture of Oliver and Gracie welcoming dad home. Marty got up early today and ventured to the mountains and got some nice tree shots today, too.

I got up about 6:30. Marty was out in the wild taking picures so I made myself a pancake with strawberries and whipped cream. Mmm. I made it to the grocery store by 8 am. I picked up 2 t-bones and 3 chicken breasts to grill for lunch today and tomorrow. May as well grill since snow is moving in again Sunday night.

I finished the first skein of yarn on my throw - it came out to about 14" so I bet I can get it long enough with 5 skeins total. I like it enough I might want to keep it. Ha Ha.

Have a great weekend.
Marcy

I hope you are all fine and healthy! I keep checking in so you don’t forget about me.. My brain is too fried to make complete sentences at the moment. I did my complaining on the complaining thread..but this cold or whatever it is has beaten me up….All the rapid tests have been negative but I’ve been coughing non-stop..nose running, etc..since Monday morning..Keep wearing your masks because if this isn’t Covid..there’s bad stuff out there anyway to catch.
