We saw lots of deer who were not afraid of us...hoping they remain safe and well this winter

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you have a fun day doing whatever makes you happy! I’ll be cooking so not much happiness there.. I do enjoy seeing everyone enjoying the food and company..Our only guests will be my son, Chris, and my mom. I’m making a 20.5 pound turkey for six people because everyone likes white meat except for my mom. I keep saying every year I’m going to get a small bird and a turkey breast. My husband loves seeing the big bird..so nope. He thinks it looks like a pigeon if it’s under 20 pounds..haha I don’t even care for turkey..I’m looking forward to apple pie and vanilla ice cream.

How are you all spending the day? What are you serving? Big hugs and love to all! XO

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Decent work days. Weather has been fine also. I need to get out and buy a secret Santa gift for our chosen families. Due today!

@missy keep on cycling!!! My colleague and I were talking about CG coats; she has two and stated she regrets not getting the long Parka like mine. The length is very appealing in our cold temps--when she walks her pooch. Admittedly, I can't wear mine everywhere (that's OK , I have a dozen coats) due to the weight/bulk but it takes me most places.

@MamaBee 20 pound turkey! That's no pigeon! Have a great meal!

@mrs-b hope you have a restful and fun TG with your family!

@marcy don't work too hard this weekend!

@Slickk hope you are feeling better. Enjoy your time off this weekend.

I am loving my new (to me) Tiffany ring. It's small, but it is the small things that count!!! LOL

cheers--Sharon

Hi NIRDI’s! Happy Thanksgiving +1 to all the lovely NIRDI’s!

@missy I will get a picture of the travel trailer when Marty gets it home. I am kind of anxious to see it. It’s my ticket to star gazing. Glad you’ve had some decent weather for cycling and hiking. It was pretty nice here today for a change. I hope your most recent tests went well and turn out good. Maybe I started a trend for us. As for them trying to call me back for repeat tests - good luck making me! Ha! Your parka looks very warm. Glad to hear you love the new iPad Air. They are nice.

@springerspaniel glad you are having a blast in New Zealand. Sounds fun. Thanks for celebrating my news with me.

@canuk-gal waiting for pictures. Glad you love your Tiffany ring. I don’t know what to do about sizing my Tiffany band since it’s an eternity band. Guess I’ll see sizing beads in it. Once I get my diamond ring back from Whiteflash, I can see if it works to wear it with the smaller ring. Glad to hear you are having decent weather. It was quite nice here today. No wind - I barely knew how it walk without leaning in to the wind. Ha Ha.

@mrs-b any luck on finding a new house yet?

We had a nice time yesterday. We met some friends for brunch at a local restaurant. The food was pretty good and we polished off three bottles of wine with dinner. So then we picked up more wine and went to their house for cards. My friend constantly fills up my wine glass so I certainly probably triggered a “check liver” alert before we came home. I can’t say I was hungover this morning, but I sure didn’t feel too perky. I tried to work about 10 and quickly decided it was a better idea to watch TV.

After lunch I worked for a few hours.

Marty left about 8 am for Oklahoma to pick up the trailer. He made it in about 10 hours. I hope he can hook it up and go in the morning so he can make it home in one day. We will see.

Take care.
Marcy

Hello lovelies

Just a quick check in. Hope you’re all well and enjoyed thanksgiving. Bad news here, Colin was diagnosed with covid today. So far, I’m fine, so keep your fingers crossed it stays that way.

I’ve got my own cabin and have to be tested for a few days, Colin has to quarantine for 5 days and if negative will be deemed ok. He’s been started on Paxlovid and doesn’t feel too bad, just a sore throat and a slightly raised temperature. We think he must’ve been exposed in Singapore, but the rest of us are so far, alright.

Ugh, what a pain!

:wavey:

Good morning girls and happy Caturday Saturday!

Oh no @Austina I am so sorry...hoping he has only a mild case and recovers quickly and that you do not catch it...sending you healing vibes and big hugs

@marcy I cannot wait to see it and I get your anxiety. It's a big purchase but I think ultimately you will have much fun with it and get a lot of use out of it. I am glad you enjoyed a lovely holiday with friends and hahaha check liver light. LOL. I have to check that light often and I do not even drink. Glad you didn't push yourself to work (too much) yesterday and got to relax and watch TV

@canuk-gal OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE your gorgeous new Tiffany ring. It is bright, beautiful and bodacious! Just stunning and it suits you purrrrfectly! Wear in good health always. Speaking of winter....I also have the CG long parka that goes to my ankles. Mystique. It's a little big for me because I got that before I realized they do vanity sizing and my real size with them is Extra Extra small. My Mystique is just an extra small. But if I bundle up underneath with lots of layers it fits. Haha. It's good for super cold days but harder to walk in because it is so long. But the key is staying warm in winter and in Canada they know how to make coats that do just that. That's why I buy my winter coats and boots from Canada. Canadalicious. Big hugs and have a wonderful weekend sweet Sharon

@mrs-b dear girl I hope your Thanksgiving was everything you hoped for and that you had the best time with your loved ones. Sending you so many hugs and lots of love and well wishes

@bling_dream19 happy holidays sweet friend and hope the family is doing well...big hugs and lots of love

@Slickk I hope you had a grand time with your family and enjoying the holidays to the max...big hugs and lots of love

Hi everyone else. Hope you all enjoyed a terrific Thanskgiving. We had a nice quiet holiday and cycled our hearts out on Thursday as the weather was just gorgeous in every way. Mild, low winds, purrrrfect. FriYAY was rainy and I had an NP appointment in the AM and we played cards in the afternoon. Perfect way to spend the rainy FriYAY. Today we are hoping to cycle...it's much colder but we are prepared. LOL. I hope a wonderful weekend is enjoyed by all. Big hugs and lots of love

Leaving you with our cycling view on Thanksgiving. It could not be more perfect

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!!!

@Austina sorry to hear of your Covid news--may you stay well and Colin's infection be short lived and mild.

@missy I continue to enjoy your sunny bike pictures! Our weather has been really lovely this week, but it will end. Back to snow and deep freeze. Parka weather for sure.

@marcy I have yet to break out the Grinch coffee mug--I will wait for Dec 1st! It really is adorable!

Busy busy week. Work, continuing annual education, CPR recert, two bits of Christmas shopping, my BD tomorrow, champagne, dinner and lunch out! And I put up the tree--but did not decorate the house, yet. My DH is glued to the World Cup and gets up early to watch football.

cheers--Sharon

Hi NIRDI's!

@Austina sorry Colin is sick and has to isolate. Hope he is doing better soon!

@missy you and @canuk-gal make me want to get a long coat again, I used to have one but the lining was getting torn and I finally threw it away. Of course, since I'm short long coats come to my knees. Glad you are braving the cold to put more miles on your beloved cycle. Sweet.

@canuk-gal happy birthday tomorrow. Your lunch and dinner sound perfect! Good idea to say your Grinch mug until December 1st. I thought of you when I saw Grinch socks at the mall today. The cold and snow is heading back our way too, probably a day or two after it passes through there. And sadly, the snow is the day before I have to drive my car to Colorado for the 20K maintenance. But I only have about 9K miles. Go figure. I did notice the reminder of my appointment has a note I can finance my repairs - how much is this going to cost me?

I brought up my Snoopy Village stuff and pulled our Christmas ornaments out of the boxes. I open the Christmas tree box and decided that looks like a Marty project. But I have the lights, etc. all in the den so it shouldn't take him too long to put the tree up.

I met a friend, her daughter and mother at the mall for some shopping. It was kind of fun. Amazingly, the mall wasn't very busy today. The busiest store we went in was Bed and Bath. I picked up a few thermal shirts and they had a toy for tots box so I bought two teddy bears to put in the box. After we left the mall I picked up lunch from Culver's and I'm starving already at 4:30 here. I might have some protein and a little popcorn.

My friend told me the six of us drank 7 bottles of wine on Thanksgiving. I have no idea if that included the two at the restaurant or not. I decided I didn't want to know. I did show them two little cuts on my fingers and asked them if they knew where I got those. They had no idea.

Marty was delayed at the RV dealer this morning - it was raining when he got there and the skylight over the shower was leaking. Oh well, hopefully it's fixed now. He has been driving in rain so isn't even halfway home yet. Bummer.

I watched some Christmas movies already. I started with a Charlie Brown Christmas, watched Spirited, Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special (Whatever it was named), A Christmas Story Christmas and three episodes of the Santa Clauses. Yep, wasting a bunch of time. Ha Ha.

Take care.
Marcy

Good morning girls! Happy rainy (here) Sunday!

@canuk-gal sweet your weather has been milder and you were enjoying outdoor activities. Today is a rain day for us unfortunately but it's been a pretty decent November here considering. Good luck with your busy week ahead. I cannot believe we are right in the holiday season. Each year goes so fast

@Austina how is Colin? How are you doing?

@marcy my biggest problem are my long arms and legs. So the coats always don't quite reach where I want them to length wise arm and leg. But it is nice to have a long coat for brutally cold days. Nice you got some shopping done with friends and sorry about Marty's rain delay. Hopefully he arrived home safely and got to enjoy some Christmas movies with you

@bling_dream19 hope you are having a wonderful weekend

@mrs-b thinking of you

@springerspaniel hope you are enjoying the best trip

@Slickk I bet you are enjoying delicious leftovers...best part of the holidays lol

Hi everyone else, hope all is well

We had a great bike ride yesterday. The weather was really lovely for end of November. Today is rainy so we are hiking instead. It's nice to have a lazy morning in bed though I have to get going soon and work out. Today is weights day. Sigh.

Love you girls. Be well and have a super fun Sunday. XOXO

Leaving you with Pythagorus who is in the holiday spirit
He decided to dress in his Santa suit for the holiday season.
He waits til after Thanksgiving and then the Santa suit comes out. He is very handsome in it don't you think?

Hello lovelies

Colin is feeling considerably better today, temp back to normal, no sore throat, just a little cough now and again, and I’ve tested negative for the 3rd day in a row, so fingers crossed I’ll keep doing so.

We’ve just arrived in Broome, Australia, but I’m not going out with our friends, or at all, until I’m sure I’m OK. I can walk about the ship as long as I’m masked, but it’s getting really boring staying in, but I don’t want to inadvertently expose anyone else until I’m totally in the clear. It’s a shame others don’t do the same as I can hear people coughing and spluttering all over the place!

Hope you’re all safe and well, take care :wavey:

Taken this evening - this is our family room tree, with Ballin and Eleanor sound asleep in front of it. :))

IMG_2268.jpg

And in other good news - Cirrus, who is away doing shows this weekend - just received his championship. He did it in super-quick time and has a very promising show future, if we choose to go down that route - tho we're still considering it.

@canuk-gal - HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope your day was wonderful!
@missy - I loveloveLOVE your Santa skeleton!!
@Austina - I'm sorry to hear about Colin. Hoping you stay well.
@marcy - I hope Marty got home ok. And I love Christmas movies! Not wasted time at ALL!
@MamaBee - I am addicted to turkey salad. Turkey meat plus peas, celery, a little finely minced onion and mayo. YUM. So that's my suggestion for the leftover...er...15 lbs....

I hope everyone else is well and motoring along smoothly. Eleanor and Nathaniel leave tomorrow, so, of course, my heart will break once more. But Wendy and Robert arrive in 2.5 weeks, so not tooo long to wait.

Love to you all! <3

Good morning everyone. I hope everyone is happy and well.
@Austina I’m sorry Colin got Covid. Thank goodness he is having mild symptoms. I hope you don’t get it.
Did I miss your birthday too! I hope you had a nice day!
@missy That’s great you were able to get out on your bike on Saturday. The weather has been so crazy. Some nights it’s been dipping into the low twenties..During the day it would get pretty warm.
I’ve been getting some tests out of the way..one of which was my Dexa scan. I still have Osteopenia..but I’m very close to Osteoporosis. I won’t take Calcium..but I think my 3,000 units of Vitamin D3 has helped. Research says it doesn’t but I think it helped.
Your friend is very cute in his Santa suit. Haha
@marcy That’s a lot of wine!! That’s funny you couldn’t remember where you got your scratches..so you asked your friend if she knew..That’s hysterical! I don’t know if I told you but I’m so happy your results are benign. I’ve never heard of results taking that long. I would have called daily!
@canuk-gal Sorry I missed your birthday.. I
hope you had a fun day! Your Tiffany ring is so gorgeous! I would love to see more photos!
Hi to everyone else. It’s a looney place here.
XOXO

@canuk-gal happy belated birthday!!!! I hope you had a wonderful birthday and are enjoying an awesome birthday week!!!! ❤️

Hello lovelies

Happy belated birthday @canuk-gal! I hope there was lots of cake and alcohol  Did you wear your lovely new ring?

Thanks @MamaBee, thankfully Colin is feeling pretty good, just a slight cough now and then.

Sorry Eleanor and Nathanial are leaving today, but nice to have your friends visit to look forward to @mrs-b.

Love Pythagoras in his Santa suit @missy , he reminds of me of Ahmed the dead terrorist? Have you seen him, Jeff Dunham’s puppet? So glad the weather is good enough for you to get out and ride.

How’s the new trailer @marcy? When do you think you’ll be trying it out?

Day 4 and I tested negative again, so I’m desperately hoping I can get through the next 2 days of being negative too. It’s not a lot of fun being on my own waiting this out, but needs must.

Sending love and hugs to you all :wavey:

GM girls! Happy terrific Tuesday!

@MamaBee that is good news...did they do a TBS with the DXA? It is an important reading of bone quality. The DXA is a small part of our fracture risk equation...if you want we can chat offline. I want you to be as educated as possible about this topic. It's terrifying to me how little many of our doctors actually know about bone health. Anyway big hugs and hope you are enjoying a good week

@Austina so glad Colin is doing well and you are still testing negative! I am not familiar with that terrorist but I assure you Pythagorus is a lover not a fighter  Feel well and hope your quarantine ends very soon. I know it's gotta be tough. Hugs to you

@Slickk how is school going? Hope your long weekend gave you the strength and energy to make it to the Christmas holidays! Big hugs

@bling_dream19 good morning! I hope all is well. Big hugs

@canuk-gal hope your happy birthday week continues to be fun and not stressful with decent weather. Our weather has changed to much colder and windier and rain tomorrow. We did ride yesterday though and it was very mild. Big hugs

@mrs-b good morning, I hope you are having a wonderful week and I am sorry E and N are leaving today but may the happy memories of this past Thanksgiving holiday hold you til they visit again...big hugs

@marcy we are watching lots of movies now too. But so far no Christmas movies so I have to get on that...we did start listening to Christmas music however. I love Christmas music. Big hugs to you and Marty

Hi @springerspaniel hope all is well

Hi everyone else. Big hugs

Leaving you with a photo of our ride yesterday...the clouds were breathtaking

Screen Shot 2022-11-29 at 7.28.36 AM.png

And a photo of our hike this past Sunday...it was rainy so we enjoyed a hike instead of cycling and often after we hike we end up at the beach. I love the sand and sea in almost winter. Nothing as peaceful and tranquil and stormy all at the same time. And note the New York City view in the background

Screen Shot 2022-11-29 at 7.31.13 AM.png

Have a terrific Tuesday girls. I have a telehealth late morning and then we are going hiking. It's much colder today. Stay warm and enjoy! XOXO

Been having just the absolute roughest time of it, health-wise. Tim caught a *bad* cold a week and a half ago, which morphed into a heavy chest infection. I was able to dodge it for the first week - then went down under the weight of the general onslaught about 3 days ago. It's gone straight to my sinuses and chest and I now have a full on infection, also.

So - given all of that, Tim did the sensible thing....

....and today, I received my first ever (and probably my last, also!) Hermes scarf! I feel very, very low, physically, but - by golly! - I look stylish!! Lucky me!! :))

I would love a photo of your gorgeous scarf!:kiss2::appl:

And I second @MamaBee when you are up to it we would love to see your beautiful scarf :kiss2:

Thanks @missy and @MamaBee. :)) If you have a moment, click on the link I posted - it's that one. Gorgeous pink and light blue pastels.

Hi NIRDI's!

@canuk-gal I hope you had a lovely birthday. Especially with your gorgeous new Tiffany ring.

@missy Marty always has problems finding clothes with long enough sleeves and legs, I guess not many people fit the "perfect" size you find in stores. Glad you added more miles on the bike. Sweet. It's almost December. It looks chilly for your hike, but nice to get out. I put on the holiday music channel today while working. It was nice. Yay for holiday songs and programs.

@Austina I am so glad to hear Colin is feeling better. I hope you stay well and Colin can escape confinement soon. Marty may try out the trailer this winter or spring, but not me. I'm far too much of a sissy girl to rough it in the COLD.

@mrs-b your tree is gorgeous and too cute Ballin and Eleanor napping on the couch. I am so sorry Tim got so sick and now you caught the cold. I hope you both feel way better soon. But glad you'll still have company.

@MamaBee no one remembers how I cut my fingers. They were more like blisters so once the skin came off they were small but noticeable. One is almost gone. I was so relieved to finally get my results. The doctor's office failed to fill out the necessary paperwork to start the test. Grr.

Marty couldn't sleep Saturday night so when I checked my "stalking" app about 4:30 am MT he had already put almost 150 miles on the road. He hit some areas of snow and ice and really had to slow down. He got home about 11 am on Sunday.

The new trailer is quite nice. It's a toy hauler and they left a big table on a bunk bed in the toy hauler part and it went flying off at some point on the road. It hit the top of the stove - which is glass - and chipped the countertop by the sink. It scratched and dented the edge of the stove. I don't know if the table go bent or not. Just kind of something the dealer and Marty overlooked. We decided it was pre-disastered now. The bed is way too high for short me to get on but he said he already figured out how he'll shorten it for me. The mattress was awful which was one of the two reasons he couldn't sleep, so we'll get a new mattress for it before this summer. All of our camper stuff got given away or thrown out when we moved to this house so we'll be working on getting stuff for the trailer this spring. I am anxious to go out with telescopes though.

We had 6" of snow last night and it is quite frigid today. I did brave the elements though to go pick up my ring at FedEx. Yep, my diamond ring is sized and back on my hand. Of course, I smacked it on something already. Must not be used to having a diamond ring on anymore.

Take care.
Marcy

Hello lovelies

Oh no @mrs-b I’m so sorry to hear you’re so unwell. Get better soon, it’s the last thing you need with guests arriving soon. Your scarf is just fab-u-lous! I can see how it would compliment your colouring perfectly.

Oh dear, @marcy, I‘m glad the rogue table didn’t cause any more damage, and I totally get it, I wouldn’t be up for roughing it in the cold. 6” of snow, brrrrrr, stay safe and warm, although I’m sure you were keen to get your beautiful ring back and on your hand.

Achmed is a puppet that ventriloquist Jeff Dunham uses in his act, together with Walter the old geezer and other characters @missy. He’s very funny. I’m a day ahead of you so it’s Wednesday here, and day 5 for me, and still negative

Not much going on here, other than mainly staying in my cabin and talking to Colin via phone. He’s feeling fine, just bored like me.

No progress on the pool so far, there’s been a lot of rain at home, hopefully a few good days are forecast so they can get on with it.

Stay safe and well :wavey:

Good morning girls! Happy wonderful Wednesday! It's going to be very WINDY and stormy here. Lots of power outages expected. Please let our generator work well

@canuk-gal happy birthday week continues...hope it's wonderful and peaceful and all you hope it will be. One day is just not enough to celebrate. Enjoy and big hugs

@marcy omg yes I 100% relate to Marty's issue with fit. My arms and legs are so long. Our tandem expert who fit us for our carbon tandem years ago told me he has never seen such long arms and legs LOL. Yay Marty arrived home safely at 11AM Sunday. What a trip. I hate ice walking or driving. It can be scary for sure. Glad all is well. Glad you love the trailer but oh no to the stove getting dented. Pre disaster-ed now lol. I hear you. That's why I don't like getting new cars. I need them a bit worn in so anything I do to it isn't a big deal if you get what I mean...yes to getting a new and more comfy mattress. That will do the trick. And oh no to 6" of snow. Your frigid weather is heading here for tomorrow. Not looking forward to it at all. I am not a fan of the cold as you might or might not remember. Nor a fan of the heat. LOL I have (like you) a very narrow comfort temperature range. TG for heat and for AC that's all I can say. Hope your weather turns milder soon and enjoy the rest of the week. Big hugs

@Austina great update thank you. Very pleased to hear the good news! May Colin be 100% very soon and may your negative testing continue and may you get to go out and enjoy all that there is to enjoy. You have been a prisoner of sorts there for too long. Continued well wishes and hugs

@bling_dream19 how are you doing? Thinking of you and sending hugs

@Slickk do you enjoy looking at Christmas decorations? We really do and in Brooklyn there is quite the display so we are thinking of heading there sometime in December to check it out. OMG tomorrow is already December. Wow. Sending you hugs and lots of happy holiday wishes

@mrs-b how are you feeling today? Love the scarf. Classic and elegant and sophisticated. Just like you. Big hugs and much love

@MamaBee how is your mom doing? How is S and D? How's the kitten? Please share kitten pics with us. Nothing is sweeter than kitty pics. We rewatched a heartbreaking movie last night. I don't know why I love these heartbreaking movies but I do. Still Alice with Julianne Moore. Sending you and your family big hugs

We had a lovely hike yesterday after my telemedicine call which went as well as it could have. It was with my pulmonologist and she had another doctor on the call as well. I am that interesting lol. So there were three squares with four (Greg was the fourth in my square lol) people on the zoom call. It was wild. Modern medicine. They went over my tests I had at Columbia four weeks ago. All in all "normal" results. We have to monitor and so in six months I have to repeat the PFTs at Columbia. I really do not enjoy that test. It's hard. But the pulmonologist wants me to repeat every 6 months for at least the next year plus and then we shall see.

I also managed to do my 24 hour urine test repeat yesterday into this morning and Greg will be dropping it off at Lab Corp this morning. That test is a huge pain so I hope LabCorp doesn't mess it up in any way. I do not enjoy repeating that test. Nope.
Today we will be running errands and hoping the weather isn't as bad as predicted.

Leaving you with a few photos from our hike yesterday. Lots of deer all around. I also had to wear my new blue suede hiking boots. As I had worn out the heels on my previous pair. Greg said he has never seen anything like it. The way I wear out shoes. LOL. We usually get them reheeled but our master cobbler is in Brooklyn and my hiking boots have a weird heel that Greg says no way will our local cobbler here be able to re heel it. So I am holding onto them til we return to Brooklyn and see Alex our master cobbler. He can work magic so if anyone can make these new again he can. TG I had a backup I bought last year. Just for circumstances like these. I am very picky re my shoes and find fit critical and very challenging to get just right. And these boots are just right. Not to mention my very favorite color. Swoon!

It's hard to make out the hiking boots but here they are...and I was wearing my new CG coat too. Deliciously cozy

hikingendofnovsandyhook2022.png

Deer were all around and so beautiful and sweet...I love them so much and wish I could keep them all safe and warm this winter

I have never seen a doe stand like this...amazing :kiss2:

Screen Shot 2022-11-30 at 6.23.32 AM.png

They got so close to us...I was mesmerized

Screen Shot 2022-11-30 at 6.25.43 AM.png

Look how close she got to Greg...wow

Screen Shot 2022-11-30 at 6.25.10 AM.png

And the last of the colors...I am sure that next time we hike the leaves will all be gone and faded...autumn is indeed my favorite season. The beauty is unmistakable and is all around us...I even find winter beautiful with the bare trees. I love it all. But wish the temps were warmer

Enjoy a wonderful Wednesday lovely ladies. May it be full of beauty and awe and good cheer. XOXO

Love to all! We are in full decorating mode. I caught up a little reading the posts..but the hubby keeps checking that I finished my lunch..so I can back to it.
@missy Here‘s one of Smokey…He’s Chris’ kitten…He’s been like a therapy cat for him. It’s been amazing for him..I’ll do more later when I can keep my hubby from staring me down..

HI:

@MamaBee your DH knows how to decorate for Christmas??? WOW! :saint: :lol-2: I finished up the last bits today. Just waiting to find deals on Poinsettias for the true wrap up! Darling kitty photo!

@missy thanks for BD wishes. Did have a lovely weekend, only to have some unwanted news on Monday. Oh well. One just has to deal..... I don't see the deer much anymore, but I see their tracks in the yard. Along with the coyotes!

@Austina You've really had some hiccups during your holiday! I wish it weren't so, but hope you guys break out soon and have fun double time! And yes I am wearing my ring!

@marcy we are at -18C today and will be for the next week or so. Not happy! Reading Marty's trip triggered my PTSD. I will never drive any long distance in our winter. You should have had it delivered!!!

@mrs-b how are you feeling, still croupy? Sorry for this , hope you and your DH are on the mend soon. I also enjoyed that lovely photo!

Work was great yesterday--hope the same for tomorrow. Low cloud cuz of the flurries today and deep freeze. Not going anywhere.

NIRDI shout out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cheers--Sharon

Hello lovelies

Day 6 and still negative, so I’m in the clear. Colin tested negative this morning and if he does so again tomorrow, he’ll be released from jail and we can go out. I assume I’ll be able to move back to our cabin, because yesterday the sea was so rough that I was violently ill - twice!

Sorry for the quick post and run, the forum just isn’t loading well today.

Big hugs :wavey:

Happy December and happy almost winter. After the 21st (or around there) the days get longer again so yay!
We bought a new TV and Greg put it together yesterday. Wow it's huge. 77" and really big lol. I have to get used to it.

We had a good walk yesterday around the neighborhood. And it did not feel as cold as predicted.
We met a really friendly outdoor cat with a clipped ear so not sure if she was originally feral and now adopted or still outdoors full time. But she was super sweet

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Austina YAY!!!!!!!!! Freedom!!! But sorry for the barfing. So not fun!!!!

@missy I've no intention of showing my DH your new TV. He talks a lot about stuff like this and I'm not having any of it! :saint: Enjoy your weather and outdoor activities;, it is so bloody cold here--cold warnings issued.

@mrs-b hope you are feeling better! Healing vibes across the miles...

Going out soon for a nice lunch. I feel the need not to cook! And I am enjoying my baby yellow sprkler--it flies under the radar so I have been wearing it to work. I like that it is in charge, but not large.

cheers--Sharon
