OMG, I LOVE IT! What a photo!
30.gif
I really dig her name...what a cool name to have. She is going to grow up hip...it''s in the cards!

You have a gorgeous family...you must be so happy.

Yes, my BFing issues are all over the preggo thread. I simply had no milk...one of those rare cases. It just never came in, but I tried and tried and tried for TWO months. Finally I stopped when it was just too small a ratio to formula.

Hopefully your issues weren''t too bad?
Thanks Tgal
Zoe because it is short.. DH has a long last name... one of those Fitz____ names..
Cadence I picked out a long time ago. I just love the way it sounds. But it was kinda sing-songy with Aiden
so we opted to use it as a middle name. AND... when DH was in the military, he lead cadence (the singing they do when they run/march)
face1.gif

My sons name is Aiden Ryan Sterling (he has 2 middle names!) Ryan Sterling was his dads 1st and middle name which I love!

As far as my BFing issues... OMG... with my son, I just couldn''t. I was so emotionally messed up about his father and to top it off, I had inverted nipples.
With Zoe - inverted nipples, and her tongue curles so badly whenever she opens her mouth. Getting her to latch was so painful, I would shake and
hyperventilate. Childbirth wasn''t that painful! Even now with her bottle, we''re constantly fighting with her tongue! It''s always in the way. I feel so
cheated of that bonding that occurs with nursing. I was so depressed and then EVERYONE has to ask, "Are you nursing?" Thats not the only thing
recovering preggos talk about! Geez...

SB--
I''m loving Sabrina in the hoodie.
Such a little sweetheart

MommaBear--
I was wondering where you''ve been.
Glad you come join us here.
Love your maternity pictures and you looked absolutely fabulous -- all belly!

You''ve got a gorgeous family and Zoe is a pretty little girl.
Those pictures are awesome.
The ones of your little girl are so professionally done

TGal and Jas12--
I'll post some pictures of baby and me when I look half as good as Jas12 there
41.gif

Love the new photos! I agree that TTot is a perfect blend of TGuy and TGal!!

Welcome back MommaBear! Zoe is gorgeous-and your maternity pics are stunning. Just stunning. I hope I look half that good at 8 months!

Gotta love those MILs. SB, I think Sabrina is just adorable and a perfect size. Tacori, I would be
29.gif
as well. MrsF you have my sympathy
38.gif
!

SB Sabrina is adorable and most definitely not fat. Not sure how old she is, but babies are supposed to be chubby. When my daughter was a baby (she''s now 2) we used to joke about her ''cankles'', but once she was running around she started loosing her baby fat and I have to say it makes me a bit sad to see her growing into a big girl because she is my baby.

MIL''s are wonderful aren''t they. Mine kept asking if I was sure I wasn''t having twins when I was pregnant. I laugh about it now, but I was not particularly impressed at the time.

Which reminds me, I must say MB how lovely you look in your preggo photos. And how gorgeous your whole family is. Congratulations on the birth of little Zoe.

TGal - not sure exactly where bugalugs comes from. My FIL and his mother who are from Namibia (country next to South Africa) also use it so perhaps it is English and has simply been transported into the ''colonies''. Bubby is definitely Australian - I often hear parents encouraging toddlers to call their younger siblings that.

Dreamer - She''s only in the 70th percentile for weight. I think she has lots of rolls because she''s a shorty. Btw, she''s Puertorican-Chinese.
2.gif
If she looks like aboriginal Canadians, they must be quite the group of stunners.
OOOhhh sorry! I remembered wrong from your earlier posts!
5.gif
What a great combination, it explains her amazing and exotic looks!

msf~Glad your first week of work went well and that your DH is doing great with Ian!

Tgal~Yea, it's funny how they really do prefer cell phones, water bottles, whatever. At conditioning she always plays with the girls keys and cell phones. I tell them to give her one of her REAL toys but they just love her to death and it doesn't bother them that she could ruin their cell phones!
9.gif
T still doesn't let the giggles out often. She smiles real big a lot and I think she's going to giggle but it's so much fun when she really gets going with giggles. I'm gonna post a pic of her and her pop bottle. OH, and I feel your pain on the formula. The one T is on now costs $9 for 32 oz (have to buy ready to serve). So, we're paying around $45 a week on formula!
23.gif

SB~Those pics of Sabrina are soooo cute! I love the yoga one. I personally LOVE me a baby with some rolls. I think she's perfect!

MommaBear~Cute family shots and what and adorable little Zoe you have there! You must be so proud of your family. I can totally relate to the issues of BFing. I had to quit at 5 weeks and I was so upset. It'll get easier.

DH and I just got into a little parenting "spat" and I'm so pissed that he was RIGHT!! T was fussy and tired and wouldn't go down. DH was like "put her in the swing and let her figure it out" and while I have no problem letting her fuss a little I'm just overly concerned righ tnow with teeth, belly, ect and I did it but told him that if she started crying hard I would probably take her out because it's hard to know if she's really upset because she's tired and/or in pain at times when she gets really worked up. Well, she fussed a bit and I let her and next thing I know she's asleep! DH thinks he's sooooo smart right now! I don't even know how many times this week I've tried to put her in the swing and let her fuss it out....she has gotten so mad she can't breath while crying every other time. Argh... I just HATE it when he thinks he's so smart!
41.gif
Okay, off to get a few things done. We're heading to the pool this afternoon. Oh, and Dh installed T's new big girl carseat!! I can't believe she's in a convertable car seat!! It is necessary though.

This is Ms. T with her pop bottle last night. She was obsessed with it. I gave it to her again this morning and she laughed at it, but it wasn't the same as last night.

twithbottle.jpg

MrsS, SB, and Burk, your babies are so adorable! MrsS, I can''t believe Jake is 3 months old already! He''s a handsome little boy!

MommaBear, I knew you were due in June and have been MIA. I was hoping you''re doing well. I''m glad you checked in. Your maternity photo are beautiful! Welcome Zoe! She''s beautiful!

This story just made me cry. Given up by a drug mom for adoption, then given up again when the adoptive mom found out about the baby''s heart condition.

Thank you ALL for the sweet words. It''s nice to hear other mothers agree that she''s not overweight. MIL is on me so much about her size that I sometimes wonder if she''s not right.

MB - You have a beautiful family and that Zoe is such a precious little doll!! The one crying is funny. She already has a personality on her - cute, cute, CUTE!!

Burk - I love the pic of T and her soda bottle - what a smile! S stole a water bottle from me a while back and it was in her toy box for ~ week and she would pull it out every day. It''s so funny how they get a kick out of the simplest things.

I am so behind!!!

Gadget review.....T tried a walker. She can only move backwards but it did keep her entertained (not like her exersaucer though!). MIL has the fisher price high chair that attaches to the chair. Works well. Would be good for those with space issue. Cute, circle neutral pattern. Finally...my b-day gift....McClaren Volo umbrella. Haven''t gotten the hang of folding it yet but is really nice. LOVE the huge sun shade and the fact there is a basket. Very light. Also love the mesh seat (not so hot!)

Momma, love your photos! Congrats on beautiful Zoe and welcome back! I was wondering where you went. BFing was a long hard road for me as well. People judge you NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO! Never fails. But here we do not judge....usually. Haha.

MsF, I am in Ohio (ILs). I will be going to Wisconsin (and no doubt J-town) in August. Not looking forward to flying alone with her. Good to know the milk won''t poison her.

SB, Tessa is doing the same yoga position! Isn''t it funny (and kind of scary?) Not looking forward to her walking (makes me sound like a bad mom). I love some baby rolls too. So cute! Ignore her! Besides doctors love fat babies. (At least my dad does).

softly, I feel ya! Everyone is a "parent." Even childless people...so strange
20.gif

MrsS, Jake is so handsome! T is usually in a onesie too. I feel so bad when she sweats. I miss you guys too!

Burk, your T is such a cutie. My T loves playing with water bottles. But she actually really loves her toys too.

Gemma, thanks. I hope I handled it well. DH blew it off. Whatever.
Burk, feeding is messier again though! Feel like that paper towel (I think) commercial. About if you encourage them to feed themselves you are crazy
1.gif
But I know she will get better at it. The jeep was nice (comfy) but we FILLED it! So crazy. Guess we will need an even bigger car when we have the next kid!

Bobo, I think the plastic thing is REALLY hard for people to understand. BRU is going ALL BPA free in 2009. So that''s good.

Mommabear--welcome back, your pics are sooo lovely.

StephensBride--The Yoga pics is priceless, what a cutie

Tgal--that''s very weird about the nick-name, of course not surprising! Cute nickies for cute kids!

And re ''wedding weight''-- Charlie and i are both much heavier than we were on our wedding day and that was just 13 months ago so you are not alone! I''ve gone from my lowest to highest weight in a year and it is quiet noticeable (despite what you all think)! All you PSers are kind to compliment me but the fact that ''no'' one in my family has made such comments is indicative of the one year transformation. Truth is, i am caring less and less. I have days when i am bummed about it, but not as many as did years ago when i was more self-conscious. I am going to see a musical this weekend and my sister asked "what r u wearing"? Last year i would have had that figured out and it would warrant a new outfit. This year--meh, i haven''t thought about it and i could care less. Priorities are shifted to a better place now.

Ella and Lili, thank you; you lady's are sooo sweet!!! Lili, my nephew is now 2 1/2; he is sooo big and a charmer hehe, you have a great memory!! Lili, Ella and Bobo love the avatars of your little ones. There are so many adorable avatars; they make me smile whenever I see them.

Burk, that picture brought back memories of when my nephew was a little younger! He would crawl super fast whenever someone would bring out a coke can; he love it and it was the funniest thing so I can just imagine your daughter getting excited over the soda bottle. She is a cutie pie!!!

TGal, I think Amelia is a lovely combo of you and TGuy!

Mommabear, you and your family are beautiful, congrats on your adorable little girl!

Mrs. Salvo, Jake is soooo cute w/his teddybear!!! He is getting so big so fast!

Stephensbride, ahhh, your little one is darling!

All the baby's are soooo darling
30.gif

Bahhh....T just pulled herself up to standing position again (holding on to her walker). I am getting nervous!

Also I wanted to say I bought her the Leap Frog learning table...might be a must! She loves it.

Tessa loves to swing!

Tlovesswing.jpg

Here she is standing. She is so proud of herself. She pulled herself up....I think I am in trouble!

Tsanding.jpg

Tacori--ahh, such a cutie, she looks tiny in that swing!
sounds like you are going to have your hands full veeerrrry soon
3.gif
Oh boy, the mobile stage scares me!

Jas12, I know! I am scared too! I was a late walker (15 months) I guess I thought it was funny when I fell so I just did it on purpose all the time
20.gif
DH was 9 months according to his baby book
23.gif
But he was a BIG baby so I figured that is why. I was hoping (still am) it would be closer to 12 months. I guess only time will tell. I was shocked. She was standing while holding on something before but we put her in the standing position. This time she got on her knees herself and pulled herself up. Glad I got a picture though. She was little in the swing. She is a little girl but really, really loved it.

Tacori, she looks like she is having a blast; she is such a cutie pie! I bet your IL's are enjoying every second with her!
face23.gif
eta: I love her little white shoes, so cute!!

Thanks S! Oh...I forgot to mention she now poses for pictures. She sees the camera (or hears it) turn on and breaks out in her best smiles (most of the time). Diva!

So cute, Tacori! Funny we just used that LeapFrog table at a friend''s house last weekend and I think it''s a must-have for us too! It''s a great toy. And we just got some swing pics this weekend too! We''re on the same wavelength, my friend!

Love T''s Pedipeds - they''re the Katelyn style, I believe, yes?
9.gif
My K has the Olivias.

SB, oh Sabrina is absolutely gorgeous! Glad you came back to the Mommies thread because she def. belongs in our little group of beauties!

MommaBear, welcome back! LOVE your belly and family shots -- gorgeousness everywhere! And congrats on little Zoe Cadence. What a fabulous name!

Burk, I''m always happy to see big smilin'' photos of Tayva! It must make you feel good to know that even with all her tummy problems, you''ve got yourself a happy little lady there!

OK, gotta go feed some kiddies. Will write more (and post pics, I swear!) later ...

S - Oh gosh, LOL. A darling little diva. haha

Ella, can't wait to see pics of the twins!!
1.gif

Ella, I love the Olivia! Yes, she has the Katelyn (but I was considering the Olivia. My mom bought them though and liked the Katelyn better) and they go with everything. She also has the Giselle (so spoiled) which I LOVE but they are harder to match up. Totally worth it when you can though! I love dots/circles so I think she will have the Giselles in EVERY size they make. They will be cute in the fall.

So funny, we thought she may be too young for the park but obviously isn't! She just giggled nonstop plus she loves watching other kids.

Can't wait for pics!

ETA: Skippy, she is a funny little lady.

StephensBride - My mom complained that my son was too skinny! I kept waiting for him to get chubby but it never happened! She is so cute with all her rolls. I love it!

Tacori - AWWWW i miss that stage with my son... Something I get to look forward to when Z gets bigger!

Burk- I totally agree with you on the cell phone preference. That''s how I got my son to crawl! I''d put the cell phone/tv remote across the floor
and he would make a bee-line for it!

Where do you guys order the PEDIPEDS? Thinking of getting some for Z

Momma, I got T''s at endless.com (well one pair. The other was from a local baby store). They have free overnight delivery. There are SO many cute styles. She just fits into the 0-6 month size (she is 8 months) but I have little feet too. Let us know which ones you get for Z!

Does anyone know what is size 1.5 in the PEDIPEDS?

Momma, I would guess XS since T no longer fits into her size 1 faux crocs (she is wearing the XS). I think they have free returns too.

Tacori - I really like the how the white katelyns look on your little lady :)
Aww... they have a ZOE pediped! It''s metallic pink (that would be hard to match)
when my son was an infant, I had all kinds of Robeez for him. I love little leather shoes!

The katelyns really go with almost everything (as any of their white shoes). I see they have the Zoe in lavender. Wonder what they would look like IRL. I agree the pink ones would be only cute with a few things. I personally like pedipeds a lot more than robeez (based on looks alone). Maybe b/c they actually look like shoes. I love the samantha, sophia, madeline, isabella, grace, caroline, and abigail too...so basically ALL of them!
