Thank you all for the clogged milk duct advice! Thankfully overnight my clogged ducts got better. I was nearly in tears as it hurt so much last night and this is coming from someone who went through natural birth! Tacori, you have my sympathies...I don''t know how you dealt with the frequent clogged milk ducts! I used a heating pad and massaged it during feedings. What really helped was the short nap I got and nursing 3 times in 5 hours in the middle of the night. I was so relieved when I felt the ducts emptying! About a third of my breast is harder than the other spots but at least it''s on its way to fully unclogging! I was prepared to nurse/pump more frequently today to unclog the ducts but thank goodness it''s getting better. It''s good to know about the all fours nursing position.

jackie, good question about when to start reading to our little one. I have wondered about that. I didn''t play music or read to my belly either (other than listening to classical music in the car).

Tacroi, what a stressful day! Sorry to hear about the near accident and BRU losing power, and your missing keys! I am glad you and T are safe.

tacori -- that is a bad day. I am so glad you''re ok! Car accidents (or near-accidents) are terrifying. I am 11 months out from my near-fatal crash, so I know how you must have felt.

Linda, thank you! DH had a good point that it is good when things like this happen b/c it makes you more careful in the future. Luckily I was paying attention to honk and get HER attention. Through it all Tessa didn''t make a peep. You would have thought it would be scary having your mom screaming and honking (and slaming on the breaks). Nope.

Burk, it was not our day but nothing serious happened so I shouldn''t complain. I have never lost my keys before and I am sure it won''t happen again!

Puffy, I couldn''t believe it either. All the stores in the complex lost power. Annoying b/c now I have to go back there tomorrow!

Today she had kraft mac & cheese from at my neighbors and she started off good (and "mmmmMmmmm") but sure enough after a few bites she just started hitting her plate and playing

Bobo, thanks! I kept thinking I would get in an accident on my way home b/c of my string of bad luck but thankfully that didn''t happen.

snlee, it was hard b/c that kind of pain is hard to ignore! I am glad yours broke up easily and quickly. I remember when 1/2 or 1/3 of the boob would feel clogged

I guess I am just prone so it will probably happen with the next baby too. Oh well. At least now I know how to deal with it. Even through all the pain and struggle BFing was still worth it for me. I am a stubborn girl!

Jas, only the best TV show in the world. It is on Noggin. It cures fussiness in 5 seconds. See I am a great mom!

I was shaken up for sure. But luckily no accident happened. I am so glad I pay attention when I drive. It is just scary how quickly things can get bad. I am glad nursing on all 4s helped you! Something about the gravity. They should teach that in BFing class. I actually told an LC and she had never heard of it

Gals, you must have put in quite a run at mom4life.com because they put in a huge order of giddy giddy clips and now are fully stocked! Don''t forget to go to retailmenot and type in mom4life.com to get the discount link. Also, read the comments for the discount...some people had to put in the code on the box on the left hand side at the mom4life.com site to get the 10% instead of being able to copy and paste the link. Cost for the clips is 8.10 after the discount and free shipping as usual.

I was totally impressed by their customer service. I asked them weeks ago to let me know if they ordered the clips I wanted and she actually followed up to email me and let me know they ordered everything I wanted.

So if you want them, they have pretty much everything, but only 3 of each, and I just ordered 1 each of the garden, white flower, duck, ladybug, dark pink flower and heart, so there are only two left of each of those.

Hee...I caved and bought her "real" clothes as well today. Funny thing is, she ALWAYS gets compliments on her yard sale stuff. Guess that mom had better taste than I do.

That little bright green jumper thingie I had her dressed in when I took her 6 month pic was a yard sale special.

Any hoo, I am sorry you had a bad day today Tacori...I stressed out just reading it. Hopefully you had a glass of wine or something and are relaxed now!

I hear ya on the BRU thing. I was supposed to go today but I couldn''t get myself to do it. And I only have 8 diapers left, so I really shoulda.

And thanks for the nice compliment on Amelia...makes me feel better because some days I really do dress her like a bum. Even my frugal mother is telling me to just buy her some nice new stuff already.

But she has a really cute dress to wear to a party this weekend (was a gift, of course) and I even bought her tights today to wear with it because darn it...she almost too tall for this dress already!!!

Charlie put him to bed at 7:45 and when our alarm went off this morn i realized i hadn''t woken up once! I got 7.5 hours of uninterrupted sleep!!!!

I *knew* this was going to happen the day before our trip. I hope, Hope, HOPE jet lag and travel does not bring us back to square one.

Nothing new around here. Busy interviewing daycares. One of my player''s moms runs a center in a church so we''re going to check that out tomorrow. I really hope it works out because the two that I''ve already interviewed just didn''t hit me as the "this is the one."

Thanks for all the lovely compliments on my little Chloe! I was inspired to post after seeing all your beautiful babies.

Unfortunately Chloe has developed a case of baby acne so good thing I took those photos a few days ago. It''s really distressing me because I feel so bad especially since I know she got it from my hormones. Anyone dealt with this? I read it could take weeks and I just feel sad when I see her dealing with this at 2.5 weeks!

jas12- yay for cohen sleeping through the night

janine- jake had horrible baby ache. I actually called his dr. because it was all over his arms too and neither of my girls had hardly any at all. it lasted about 3 weeks. It does go away and that beautiful flawless baby complextion will be back before you know it.

tgal-i'm low on diapers too. I need to make a run to Sam's but it's 20 minutes away so I keep putting it off. I will have to go today or tomorrow for sure. I bought wipes at Costco before we moved and I don't think I'll have to buy them again until next summer. There are a ton in those huge boxes.

Puffy, yeah I buy different sizes. I figure she is going to be in them for a LONG time. So I buy size 4s and sometimes a box of 5s. I just can''t pass up a good deal. The price was what the price to beat on baby cheap skates (which is 25 cents in size 4) PLUS I had a $4 off coupon that expires in a few weeks! So the diapers ended up being a steal. For the wipes I had a $1 off so I love BRU will stack their coupons with company''s coupons. Food lion always has good deals too. I got some pampers last week for 21 cents piece! It was pathetically exciting.

TGal, yeah, you sign up for it. The lady brought it up so I bet they are asking everyone.

I gave some random lady a formula coupon while I was there. She was grateful and it made me feel good. Plus they have some ADORABLE shoes right now!
