Hi ladies! I''ve out of town on a mini vacation and now it''s good to be back! Haven''t heard a thing on my recut, a little over a week ago it was sent to the cutters. Vera said it could take around two weeks once there. Waiting sucks but I''ve been keeping busy. No rug making though, I''m back to work now!

Dani it SUCKS you had to deal with these incompetent jewelers, I''d be going out of my mind! I hope your luck changes soon. LS I can''t wait to see your ring, I''m expecting a major photo shoot! All the new stones and projects around here are gorgeous too. Must head back to work now

OMG LS are those arrows in your sapphire? That is stunning, YAY for you!!! No rug hooking, work requires LOTS of prep work to do at home. I won''t get to play on pricescope as much now, but the time will go by faster. I just can''t wait to get that email that my diamond is recut and made it through safely. And of course, I can''t wait for those awesome Whiteflash pictures, especially if they do before and after ones like they did for Isabelle''s. And please, send me ice cream AND gin. I''m really more of a beer girl, but this kind of anxiety calls for the hard stuff!!

I just got my sapphire..... walked in, handed them the claim slip. Got my ring, looked at it, saw the tool marks, shook my head, gave them a disgusted look and walked out.

I''ll try to get pics tonight - my camera is probably not up to capturing pics of the marks.

Oh. My god. As I was typing this I discovered that - the stone is loose in the setting. Like, I can wiggle it.

I am seriously cracking up in disbelief right now. Lord in heaven.

Thanks guys. DH is coming up tonight to call them before we go in. We''re going to try to get the out of pocket cost back for both rings. They can keep the $$$ from the gold I traded in. Hopefully since we''re not asking for a full refund, we''ll get it. If not - well, after tonight I am done with all this bs. If it goes badly, it goes badly, and we''re going to move on. *sigh*
