I want to plan a vintage hollywood party for J''s birthday.

VE this idea! My best friend and I have always wanted to throw a ''Jay Gatsby'' party.

Same kind of idea.

A doesn''t really do bdays. They never really made a big deal of them growing up. So he doesn''t really want celebrations, etc. Plus his bday is always close to Thanksgiving, so we''re in Kansas City anyway...

Good, you can help me plan!

I LOVE making a huge deal out of J''s birthday! I would hate it if he wouldnt let me!

J wants 30s. Ever since he played Bioshock on Xbox he cant get that time period out of his head.

Any tips on staying motivated in a boring, so-easy-a-trained-monkey-could-do-it, dead-end job with no chance for a raise?

1. Good references for your next job.
2. Plenty of time for ST.
3. Something to fill what would be a whole on your resume.
4. Plenty of time in front of a computer to do homework for school or fill in applications for your next job.
5. Plenty of time for ST.

I have a f***ing cold for real now...

I feel like complaining, so let me:

As soon as I walk in the door everyone''s in a tizzy because they have a webcast scheduled and don''t know how to sign in - LOVE working with 60-70-somethings that barely know how to turn on a computer. I know, that may be insensitive, but right now, I don''t care

. Then I get the oldest of the bunch asking me if I could contact ''Oxford'' to see if our department can buy 100 presentation folders at the same price he got them from the dollar store

I love the guy but he comes up with the most ridiculous s**t!!!!!!!! Then my boss is about to rip someone''s head off because she is overworked and overtired.

It''s only 10AM and I''m already exhausted.

When did you start working in my office?

Feel better soon. Being sick and dealing with old people like that is no fun.

I''m placing the order for my dress (in multiple sizes) this morning. It (all of them) should get here Monday (Feb 22) so I''ll have about 10 days to figure out which one is right and make sure I like it.

Until then, we''re eating veggies & I''m doing more exercise to tone things up as much as I can.
