I upload to the site that shall not be named, then ctrl+click on the pictures and save them to my desktop and rename the files. Then they''re PERFECT for PS.

We are staying at a marriott (not ideal but its long drawn out story, and its not worth complaining about a free vacation!), so i really want to do more than just go to the casino and stay on the beach.
i love "old town" shopping, folklore, high end shopping (just to see what its like lol ) and food Homestyle? count me in!
I know E is interested in night life, and we both highly interested in the luminescent lake and the observatory.
I think we''re mainly looking for suggestions that people have actually done!

oh, and any tips about driving around would be helpful too.

Well the island isn't that big, so depending on where you're staying, you can do quite a bit! Are you staying near San Juan? If so, I'd recommend taking the ferry to Culebra Island - it supposed to be gorgeous. We didn't get to go there because we stayed on the west side of the island (Rincon, which is also gorgeous!) and were sharing a car - it would have taken us 3 hours for that trip and for one day, we just couldn't. Old San Juan is a definite (more high end shopping/museums/restaurants)! The rainforest (El Yunque), if you're into nature, is a must too. Driving around is like driving in the States. Same cars, same types of roads (large highways and windy roads by the water). People drive fast, but no faster (or crazier) than they do in NY. Food...well that's everywhere! You'll find little shack restaurants with amazing food all over the place (get a coco frio, which is basically ice cold coconut water...opened fresh right there for you). If you're in Old San Juan, The Parrot Club is supposed to be amazing - we didn't get to go, unfortunately. FIs family goes every year so I am giving recommendations based on what they tell me.

If you're staying on the west side of the island, go see Rincon and Aguadilla...both are really, really nice. Ponce is also not too far...very historic and very beautiful.

Things to try:
-guanábana ice cream
-Fresh fruit any chance you get - it is amazing!
-Rice and beans (arroz con habichuelas), tostones, empanadillas, mofongo...

I'm sure both Elle and HIS will have some suggestions for you too! You're going to have a blast!!!

We are staying in San Juan (city) near the airport (i think maybe 30 min away?). We stayed there for a layover and feel in love it it, and honestly we were only there for 18 hours! I think the people that we came across were just so warm and inviting (even if it was their job!). And it helps that we made quick friends with the bartender and got free drinks. I guess thats how they lure you in?

Has Anyone done the Bacardi tour? i kinda want to do that too. But we will for sure do the walking tour of Old San Juan - it looks amazing there!

The bride''s brother is a complete ham and while I generally find BP jumping shots cliche, this one turned out hilarious. I thought I had flashed the camera but was pleased to see that I did not. Plus, I would be way too nervous to spend all that money on nice fabric because I''d probably goof it up.

When I was in my sorority, I used to call it a glorified arts and crafts club since we crafted a TON. I can''t tell you how much stuff I crafted between taking little sisters and holiday gifts. College was probably where I honed my arts and crafts skillz.

Oddly, the veil stuff isn''t that pricey. Well, if I used *real* alencon lace it would be expensive but I use the fake stuff since I haven''t found a good resource for the real stuff (nor have I looked hard). I think I spent less than $40 on each of our veils. The chuppah was another story since I used silk. Even then, I think it was $80 total for that stuff (not including the poles, she bought those).
