Ctek - gosh you could make a living with those veils, they are just too stunning!
Was it hard to sew, and what level do you think is needed? I know basic sewing (and what i dont know, i can look up) and have acess to a sewing machine, a hand machine (the little guys) and can hand stitch.
I stitched everything by hand and I definitely don''t think its that hard. The toughest part for me was getting the shape right, especially for the mantilla. The gathered style veils are easier since you can just leave it straight across the top and then do a running stitch and gather it once you''re done attaching the trim. The key is to use thread the same color as your trim and tulle and then try to make your stitched invisible. Not too hard with lace. I just stayed around the edges and near the reembroidered bits, if that makes sense. I''ll have to take some detail shots of my veil and show you what I mean. Both of them took me two nights of stitching.
