Too: My setting is a bit high, I'm not used to wearing it all the time yet. Maybe I just baby it now because it's new. I feel like the metal on the ring is a bit "sharp" because it's new. Do you think the metal might become "smoother" after awhile? I bet we have similar weather because we're somewhat close?

Does it feel "sharp" at the edges or the prongs?

I know mine felt strange (and a bit uncomfortable) at first because I wasn't used to them. I'm not sure if they've actually gotten smoother or if I have just gotten used to them. I don't have problems with the side of the bands now and I haven't scratched myself with the prongs for a few months. They are definitely much more comfortable now and I've actually gotten worried and had to look to be sure they were still on my hand because I didn't feel them there.


I think the weather is probably pretty close. You might get dark a bit earlier since you're farther north. You probably get more snow than we do?

ugh, dont even get me started on these friends. They dont evenw alk their dogs around the neighborhood, hence 400 lbs! HaHa, its nice when someone who is 400lbs gives you diet and exercise tips!

Yeah, thats how it is here, but we will get some light. I always heard that they have higher depression rates in washington. LoL...i dont see why, but than again i like darkness.

Whats about you watching your salt intact when your ring is tight, is im on Kelp pills for Iodine to help my thryoid. LoL

Dont worry BG- im sure your ring is built to last, once you take it into the jewelers dont worry about anything happening to that baby.

the prongs are not sharp at all. I'm saying when I'm getting my ring on and off. The metal seems to "scratch" my joint. Maybe the finger is just swollen a bit 'cuz of PMS and the weather. My mom said I shouldn't try to pull it off straight, I should wiggle its way out. That's why my joint is red.

We don't get snow that much! If we're lucky, we might get once/twice snowfall a year. When there is snow, they are usually wet snow.

Yeah, mine felt like that too. It stopped doing it pretty quickly.
Maybe my knuckle just got used to it? Maybe I got the technique down better (wiggle a bit helps)?


We don't get much snow either (usually) and it is (mostly) the wet kind. Our house is up on a hill so we have been getting a bit more than I'm used to but not bad.

HAHA. Maybe the redness and small bump on my finger joint is due to me forcefully trying to take it off straight all the time. I'm like forcing it in and out because I got nervous. I should stop doing that. I probably have to get used to it and just wiggle it out of the way.

Yup! We do have the same kinda weather. How's the weather forecast there? It's around 23 now. Tomorrow around the same. Then rain starting on Thursday - weekend.

Currently 28, supposed to keep going up to 29.
23 tommorow
then to 20/21 for Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun. Possible rain on Sat/Sun

My mom gave me a project. She wants to buy me a pair of diamond studs for my wedding. She told me to do some research on it. I'm just sitting here falling asleep. My head will hurt the keyboard any second now. Maybe it's the heat? Maybe I didn't sleep well? Maybe it's PMS.

See heres the thing, im really good about not peeking at gifts, until you tell me, than i gotta peek. Its so silly, but weird and true. I'm worry about my ring because:
1. will it be fine after they tighten it tomorrow?
2. is it too tight?

My FI thinks I should at least wait 'til the winter time. He thinks it's just the weather. But I'm such a BIG worrier!

Ah, a lady after my own self, I too worry, so i understand. Just take it to the jewler tommorow and hav them look at the dimaond, if anything they can tighten there and than, also its tight because its hot and your pmsing....haha. My fingers swell so bad in the morning its painful. Do you have that issue?

heehee.. I sleep on my hand, that's why my hands will be so hot and swollen in the morning.

I am probably just worrying too much. I was able to get it on/off before when it's not hot. I have some trouble getting my RHR off now. Usually it's loose in the winter time. I'll get over it.

I'm sure I'm thinking about it too much. Tomorrow the diamond will be all secured!!!!

I'm off to teach now. Hope I won't fall asleep while I'm walking there.

So I've had such a busy and crappy day... up until a little bit ago. I got my email from Leon - the ring is finished! It's shipping tomorrow and it will arrive at my house Thurs. The only bummer is I am gone all day Thurs. at the dentist trying to get my poor little teeth fixed. But I guess it gives me something to look forward to while I'm being tortured. Ahhhh, I'm so excited .

My mom said.. my e-ring diamond is very very sparkly and nice. That's why she wants me to do research. She knows I'm very good at choosing diamonds now. I am still thinking about the K colour. My mom said I can get better quality. We'll see. I don't want her to spend tooo much. If I can't really tell the difference between a K/J/I. I don't see why need to pay more $$$$.

YES!!!! They're just earrings. It's not like people will be looking at them very very closely. I'm only thinking about 0.30/0.40 ct studs anyways.

Lessons weren't so great today. All the students are daydreaming. Maybe I'm pmsing that's why I think they are all bad. I guess it's my own fault.

No proposal for me... I get to look at the ring and then it goes into hiding. I've still got weeks of waiting ahead of me. Planning our move has been so stressful, I can't imagine him doing it now. Ugh, I don't know how I'm going to handle waiting when I know the ring is in play. That changes everything. I think I'm going to go full out LIW soon .

I wonder if I can go up in size. Max is .50 stud. My parents said you can get better one, it's YOUR wedding gift. hmmm... They're tempting me!!!! They said if I want to get myself diamond studs. They can get me a diamond pendant. what do you guys think? Should I get myself diamond studs and they get me diamond pendant?
