Cali: The "good dates" are based on me and my FI's b-day and birth time (which hour). My mom is hoping to get my FI's information by the end of this week. Then, my mom will called the guy to make an appointment. The "good dates" are according to the Chinese lunar calendar. We'll tell them which months we are planning to get married. Then, the guy will tell us 3 days (BEST, GOOD, WORST). Something like that. I don't know much about stuff like this. My mom asked her friends about it. I'm sure your date will be good no matter what. I think this is just a peace of mind for Chinese people. My dad doesn't really believe in it. He said it's a tradition to pick a GOOD date for a wedding. I'm glad my FI gave in.
