Bg- I dont want you to feel you cant post stuff here because im down. I want to hear all about your planning and see pictures. I love that dress, and im not a big fan of lace, but i love it. Would you get it in a white or an ivory? Somehow i think an ivory would be very pretty. I like how is has a small amount of sparkle and i really like the back. If it makes you feel special, than get it. Yes, it might be over budget by a few 100 dollars, but if it makes you feel special, and its not hitting the " above the budget by a grand" i say go for it.

Too- im sorry your weekend was wet. Ill take some wetness here, we are WAY above our normal highs here. Our average for this time of the year is 50 for high and low 30's, but this weekend we hit 70! ...i wasnt a very happy camper, i love cold weather. Also, post pictures of your baby, ive been wondering how big she is now.

Yeah, my finals are done, and i passed all my classes, but one. The Math, and i had a feeling i wasnt going to pass, even though i got osme tutoring and talked to my professor. Im really upset about that. So far, my winter break sucks, between the ring being more, not passing a class, and i had a stupid fight with C last night, over food. . Only good thing is ive lost some weight.

Too- i know how you feel about the tooth and dentist thing, the only thing i can say is, just relax, the wisdom teeth need to come out, and its better for them to come out now, than later. Also, they will give you good drugs for pain

Did I mention they don't work with general anesthesia?
(they have gas, novacain, and some gel thing)

I just got off the phone with them. She's going to have the dentist look and be certain it is something that can reasonably be done without full out anesthesia. If it is, they are going to call in a relaxing-pill prescription to the pharmacy so I can take something for a few days before also.

When mine were removed, i didnt get all of those options, i got a shot of Novcain....well actually 3 shots, the way the dentist tried to remove them caused my tooth to break into a bunch of little pieces, it took over 45 minutes to remove one tooth.

Someone in Hangout suggested an ipod but another person pointed out that the sound travels through the bone so that you still hear what is happening.

Sorry ladies! I haven't been on as often because I am stressed out about my dress.

Autumn: I am still here. I do check out BWW. I just have nothing to post. wedding planning is fine. We are pretty much done, just need to find my dress and a videographer. My Tacori wb should come in this week. How's planning for you? Have you picked out your wb yet?

Jessie: I am still here. How are you feeling? I am sorry about the ring and the engagement. I just didn't want to bug you about my dress drama. I also wonder where Cali and too are.

Here is the problem. As some of you might now, I got a dress off the rack last month and ended up returning it. To keep the long story short, I got it because it was cheap. BAD MOVE! I regret it. However, I got the store credit for it. Last week, I tried on an Impression wedding gown. It is a lace dress. I love the busy pattern and the little beading. I feel like a princess in it. My mom, my maid of honor and me are pretty excited about it. The price is $1400 CDN after tax. (I was hoping around $1000) We are ok with it because we want to get something I really really like. I don't want to look at my pictures in the future and totally hate my dress. My parents are paying for my dress. However, the more I think about it, the more I feel bad about my parents spending so much on it. I don't know. I am confused. Here is the dress. I am totally in love with the back of it. I feel like a princess in it.

My wedding planning is good, I ended up hiring a planner and I love her. We booked our videographer/photographer, DJ, catering, venue, and lighting so far.

No WB yet! I still have 9 months to go till my wedding so I'll probably be getting it a lot later. I still have to try on the matching WB for mine!

For me, the sound did travel, and listening to music didnt help. Yes it blurred out what the doctor was saying until, i felt it break, but no, it didnt help me. I would say, take it just in case you want to try, but for me it didnt help.

Thanks ladies. Since I made a mistake in purchasing a gown and ending up returning it, I want to make sure this is REALLY what I want. I'll think about it. However, I am scared I might be running out of time. The gown will take 4 months to make. Probably 1 more month for alternation. I need it by May/June for our pre-wedding photo sessions. If I order it now, it would be ready by May. Since there are new collection coming in Jan, I don't know if I should wait until then? I don't know.

Too: I got my wisdom teeth taking out many many years ago. I had general anaesthesia. I had no idea what was going on. I can't feel anything. However, one moment I did feel my tears coming down and the nurse was patting my arm. I was embarrassed until I talked to a friend. She told me she did too and it's because of the anaesthesia. (Her dentist told her) It makes you "cry" for some reason. When it was over, I felt like I'm drunk. My parents have to help me up. I was like dizzy. No pain at all until AFTER. I got 4 wisdom teeth out all at once. I think one tooth has a really evil hook. They had to break it into pieces to pull that one. I found out when I saw the teeth and one was broken into pieces. The good thing is, you don't feel any pain at all. It was just sore after. I couldn't have any solid food for a week. I was cryig at home one night because I wanted KFC. I don't really eat KFC that often. However, you always want to eat the stuff you can't have. I have some friends who had locoal anaesthesia and could eat the day after. I would be scared if I can hear what they are doing though. Maybe I'm a pissy. I was on liquid meal for a week.

Ill post pictures of them, they went to the spa and get baths and cuts, so cute. Im gonna take them back on Christmas eve, the groomers will give them baths and new bows for 10 bucks....cant beat that.
O, and i need to post picutres of me hair. I put hair extensions in, yes, i admit it, i wear them, you cant even tell...lol...but i went with black, and almost silver highlights, so cute.

Absolutely, 100%. I don't think I could be doing it without her to be honest. I'm going to be extremely busy come Jan. because of an accelerated BSN nursing program I'm starting so I knew I would need one. Honestly, there has been very minimal stress. Any stress that I have experienced is from making sure SO got to my house on time so we could go meet with vendors...thats it. Nothing else. It's been a very pleasant, stress free experience thus far.

Gold is getting more and more expensive. This is our venue the ceremony: It's a rose garden. He asked me out and proposed to me in a rose garden. It would only make sense if we get married in one. It's CHEAP too! WIN WIN! It is expensive to get a wedding planner? I am pretty much doing all the wedding planner. So far so good. No stress yet. However, when it comes to my dress... *sigh*. I just got a new wedding magazine from Costco. They have lots of gowns from the new 2011 collection. When I'm looking at them, I keep on thinking that the lace one I want is a lot better. Maybe this is it...

My wedding planner was $5,200...but a lot of wedding planners have different packages. You could get one for the day of, or for a few months before the wedding. Mine is for the entire 15 months leading up to the wedding.

Ahhh, I get it now! Somehow missed that part . I would definitely ask your friend for any tips or advice along the way if you need it, they really do know best in my opinion.

The dress I really loved on the website didn't look the way I had hoped for on me so that one is out. Ever since then, I have not been to any bridal shops but there is a dress I'm drooling over and I'm trying to get a sample sent to a store:

Yeah, I think its worth it too. I know some planners charge upwards of $8,000

Not much going on with me. K and I have been hanging out and having a good time. Work has been somewhat less stressful but still busy. I got two different people asking if i was engaged or when BF and I are getting married yesterday. I hate hearing those questions. I had to get a crown on one of my back teeth. The stupid temp one fell out while I was flossing last night so I had to go in this morning. My appointment was supposed to be friday for the perm crown. I knew I couldn't deal with my tooth being that sensitive for 2 days though so I went in this morning and luckily the porcelain crown was ready. K and I are both getting excited for our cruise in January. I'm still very certain he won't be proposing on the cruise.

I think I saw Maggie Gyllenhaal on the train this morning. lol

Jessie: We are going to my FMIL's dinner. My mom is actually looking forward to it. My FI is very nervous about it. I think it will be fun. When my dad's back in January, we'll all have dinner again. My FI doesn't even want to go for dinner. He doesn't really talk to his parents. Last week, he came over to my house for dinner almost everyday. His mom was throwing a hissy piss over something VERY VERY stupid. This is what happened, my FI forgot to soak his lunchbox. He thought he did, but he forgot. Not only did he forget, he didn't put the container in a VERY specific way. He put them on the countertop with the lid BESIDE the container. His mom doesn't like the way he put it. THEREFORE... his mom got mad because she wants him to put the lid BELOW the container, not BESIDE. OMG.. I was like "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" She was mad over something sooooooooo... i don't know what I can say to that. So... my FI has been avoiding home for a week. POOR HIM! He said he would have moved out LONG time ago if we're not saving money for our wedding.

Autumn: The dress is amazing! I hope you get to try a sample of it. It looks expensive! It is lace? I love lace! I had to drive 1 hr to try on the dress I showed you. It was worth it though. What is your budget for a dress? (you don't have to answer if you mind.)

Thank you I'll probably have to travel the same distance to try on that dress but I don't mind. It's really the only dress I've seen that I really love besides the one I tried on. Yep, all lace

I don't want to spend anymore than 2K on a dress total with the tax/alterations included in that. I think that dress is 1,300$ but I have no clue as to how much alterations even begin at.

There was this one dress I really like. It was just $380. It was all lace. However, since I found it at like an outlet bridal store. It is very beat up. Alternation and fixing would be $$$$$$. I just don't like to see a lot of plain fabric on my dress. That's why I think lace is for me. Flowery pattern throughout. Alternation shouldn't be that expensive if you are to special order one n you size. Unless you get one off the rack and wants to make it 2 sizes smaller.

So i am almost all done christmas shopping, i need to pick up C one more thing, and than im all done. I got him a Miami Dolphin football, a flip and fold thing, so he can fold his clothes, and a miami dolphin street sign....ill pick up a gentleman jack gift set and than he will be all done. Than im done with everyone....Mom got a leather journal, a diamond necklace, and some smelly stuff, Sis got some smelly stuff, a crossword puzzle book, and some makeup brushes, i might buy her some earrings. Doggies got treats, Kitties got kitty nip and a scracther...now what to get myself? LoL

About wedding planner, I cannot imagine spending any money at all for someone to plan my wedding. No offense, autumn. I love you! Heehee. Ladies... I'm so nervous.

I keep on thinking about the first mermaid dress I tried on 2 months ago. Ever since that dress, I decided that mermaid dress is the way to go. I thought it was expensive at $799. That's why I didn't go for it. However, I keep on thinking about it. Even though I don't remember EXACTLY what it looks like. I remember feeling extra skinny and amazing in it. That's why I'm going back to the store and try it out again. Maybe this is it since I have been thinking about it for the last 2 months? Wish me luck! The price is good. It has a lace-up back and I can choose the height. That means I probably don't need to hem or alter it. ALSO... if I order it by next week, it will be here by the end of April. DUST please!
