The Official TTC Thread!

ICEKID!!! YAY!!!

36.gif

I went back to see where you were in your cycle and couldn''t find it on the list, so I read back a few posts and saw that you think you and your DH weren''t able to BD when you O''d?!?!? When do you think you did? This is great!!!!!!

Sorry that last post was getting rather lengthy, so I am starting a new one for my update:

So, I am on CD23 and I believe that I O''ed, yeah! FF says it was on CD17 but I am thinking it was actually on CD 18. Now, I am waiting to see whether I will have a shorter LP or the normal LP time (avg. 13 days). Time will tell.

There is a really wierd phenomenom going on that I would love some imput on though...TMI Alert...Has anyone experienced a pink/brown twinged CF, in concert with BD''ing, before? When DH and I BD''ed last night, I had a light colored CF mixed in with his stuff. I''m pretty sure it wasn''t him, but I have never had that before. The pinkish CF has continued into today, along with a very watery and somewhat EWCM textured CF. We BD''ed on CD 13 (since I usually O around then) and then CD 21 and CD22. I wasn''t even considering myself in the 2WW, but is there any chance that it could be implantation spotting? So confused...
33.gif

Anywho, that is what''s shaking in my world. I hope you ladies are doing ok and I wish you good luck with your BD''ing and other TTC activities this week!
35.gif

PS On the "YAY FOR THEM - DANG FOR ME" line: My cousin and her SIL just had babies w/in 3 weeks of each other, another cousin had a baby just after Christmas and my step-sister is pregnant too. People are just getting knocked up/having babies left and right.

I do not even know what possessed me to test today, pretty much I did it on a whim. And I was absolutely SHOCKED..... but thrilled! More later

YIPPEE for our FIRST BFP of MARCH!

Congrats my dear and let us know how you plan on telling your DH.

Ohh...giddiness for you
9.gif

dc- I already told hubby! Read below
1.gif
Glad to hear that it looks like you O'd! I had that random mid-cycle spotting a month or so ago and never figured out what the heck it was.

plantationcat- So sorry about everything that is going on with your mom. On the plus side, I bet it will really lift her spirits when you do get preggo. Fingers crossed for you!

HMG- Just terrified about the implications of the healthcare bill and what it will mean for my ability to pay my exorbitant school loans.

LV- Today is an infinitely better day!! DUST DUST DUST that you will be joining me soon.

Lanie- My guess is 10 DPO now, which would mean last BD was 6-7 days prior to O!

Giddy!!!!! If I am right about when ovulation occurred, I should be 10 DPO right now. Do my lines seem congruent with that?? After looking at peeonastick they seem more similar to the 12 DPO tests, but of course beta levels do vary. In that case, really the last time we BD was 6-7 days before probable ovulation. So either hubby does have supersperm or O was earlier than suspected. I think we should be due at the beginning of December, which feels so surreal. That would mean a tiny little baby home with us at Christmas time. Wow
6.gif
Of course, I am trying not to get TOO excited (as if this is truly possible.) Fingers crossed that I can get an ultrasound in a couple weeks to put my mind at ease.

By a wonderful twist of fate, my DH decided to work from home today because I am working all weekend. So I told him very shortly after I confirmed with two tests. I put the "I love daddy" onesie I bought a couple months ago on a stuffed teddy bear he gave me years ago. Told him I had a present for him. He asked if he wanted it! haha, umm, yes think so! He definitely did not catch on at first and I had to tell him that I was serious and show him the tests.

I cannot even tell you ladies how much it means to be able to share this experience with all of you. We truly are a little family. Now get busy ladies so we can go through pregnancy together!

icekid - I am so happy for you!
9.gif
wow, well if Lanie''s friend was able to preggers, I guess we shouldn''t be surprised at your winner of 6 days pre-O!

not only was your husband right that he''s got good swimmers, but man-oh-man, they are SURVIVORS. 6 days they lived! you two must be very fertile.

congratulations on being this month''s first BFP! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

now I''m going to start another post because this one was just for you.

ICEKID! I am so excited for you!! Woot - are you 11 DPO?
36.gif

Any symptoms to speak of? Do tell!

icekid - HPTs contain different amounts of dye and test for different sensitivity, so I don''t know if you can really tell how many DPO. may I ask how long you and DH were TTC?

dcgator - I used to sometimes have pink tinge after BD, when I was on the pill (which they say makes your lining thinner) and we weren''t BDing as much. but I hope for you that it has to do with implantation.

Lanie - yah, that is just so weird getting pregnant on BC. I really don''t understand it.

Bells - I think you''ll O before me because I expect mine in 6-7 days while yours is in 5.

Lynnie - do you think the leg cramping is related to vitamin (dis)use? I never heard of that. interesting.

CatLuver - that is so sweet to say... but I''ve been looking for the muscle and can''t find it.
38.gif

dcgator - haha! DH said that this cycle he needs at least 2-3 days rest before any BDing marathon. I think I''ll spare the poor guy and just go for every other day.

plantationcatt - I wish I knew what to tell you. if it was me, I would test tomorrow morning and if I still got a BFN I would just assume I wasn''t. I mean if I was having radiation treatment, I would expect my mother to visit, and she would, no matter what. so I would do the same for her (unless I knew 100% for sure that I was preggers).

I hope brightlight is ok.

Thanks, ladies!!!

Krissie- Well, thus far my usual work salad made me soooo nauseous and I had to choke it down! Otherwise, I usually get sore boobs post-o which was the case this time, but now they are ultra sore. And definitely a bit of tummy bloat (already?!) too
14.gif
I think I''m around 10 DPO, but not temping, OPKing, or Evaing.

noel- Well, technically we "threw caution to the wind" at the beginning of 2010. But this is the first time that we timed appropriately. I had not even thought we did a great job at that, but close enough apparently!

CONGRATS Icekid!!! So excited for you. We needed some March representation and your DH supersperm makes for a great story! Lots and lots of sticky dust!

Dcgator - you are entitled to make as much fuss as you want about whatever you want on here... that''s why I like this forum so much. There are a lot of different stories and there is room for jerkstores, newbies, veterans, people with perfect Os and MIA Os :) Thanks for the sympathy though... it''s nice to be heard and people who are not in the TTC mindframe don''t always get it. Sorry about the weight gain - it''s crazy how easy it comes on and how hard it is to get off.

Icekid, congratulations!!!

Finally, a March BFP! I was thrilled to see your post! Woot!

OMG IceKid, My jaw just hit my keyboard!!!!! You were so certain you were out of the running!

Don''t stress about your student loans right now, just enjoy this special time! It will work out I am sure in the healthcare arena so that you''ll be able to pay back your loans.

The first March BFP, you must have some awesome CF adn your DH must have incredible super sperm!!!!!

Lots of sticky dust to you.

Glad the both IUI went smoothly for you.
Can''t wait for next month to see how many BFPs we''ll have.
Lots of dust to you!

We''re still not actively trying yet but I have to admit, a part of me secretly hopes for an oopsie baby.

i kinda feel the same way. however, then im worried like, "uh oh! what if i drank alcohol and caffeine and stuff! eeek!"

If any of you ladies were around when BlushingBride was going for her baby, she announced on the preggo thread that she''s 11 weeks pregnant with twins! She started up this thread awhile back, so obviously, we are all very excited!!!!! It''s these people that give those of us struggling some hope!!!!!
17.gif
Congrats Blushing if you pop back over here!!!! I was wondering what had happened to you and glad you are back!!!

Whoo hoo!! (well, not for the painful symptoms, but for the cause of them!!)

How funny - I had a salad last night with baby greens and red onion, and it was literally so bitter that I couldn''t eat it. Today, I have that bitter/metallic taste thing going on - can''t get rid of it. But it could also be because I''ve been super diligent about flossing lately due to an upcoming dental appointment, and my gums feel a bit swollen. Sometimes that can affect taste.

Regardless, super stoked for you! On FF it told me that if I conceived this cycle, the due date would be December 2nd, 2010, so that must be near your due date!

OMG ICEKID! i saw after i posted that you are now preggoooooo! CONGRATULATIONS! YAYAYAYAYAYAYA!!!!!!!

Thanks so much RyanClaire, CDNinNYC, charbie, geri, and Lynnie!!

Bella- Well, I must admit that this has taken my mind of the "real world" for now. Honestly, I was contemplating waiting again to TTC given the current state of affairs in the medical world but that decision is no longer mine to make. ahhhhhh hahaha, love your comment about the CF and supersperm. Only in the TTC thread!
36.gif

lili- thanks!!! I've enjoyed watching your little J grow up and can't wait to add my little one to the mix.

Krissie- You're right, I'm predicting a due date around Dec 4. Definitely still keeping hope for you this cycle. I need a preggo twin

I'm sending knocked up juju to all of you ladies, including the ones who are not quite trying yet

eta- Forgot to mention that I was especially brazen and did NOT use first morning urine. The pair of tests are the cheap $1 ones from Dollar Tree and the other is a FRER. I am definitely impressed with the cheapos for picking up a positive with non-FMU at 10 DPO.

Hehe, little did I know when I posted about getting in at least one March BFP that it would happen so fast after I posted it AND that it would be you!! Hehe! I love it!! And dude, your hubs must have SUPER sperm! 6 days!??! Holy cow!! LOL!!! Don''t worry your pretty little (pregnant..hehe!) head about everything...we will be OK. We are ALL in the same boat with regards to ridiculous debt, and honestly, they can''t screw us all over, right? We will fight it if they do.

Ahhh, I am just so happy for you.

Icekid: Let me just say again how very exciited I am for you again! What a great way to tell your DH. I must confess that I totally bought a little onsie too (acutally a boy and girl one) for when I get to tell my DH when we are KU
9.gif

And we will try our darndenst to join you in KU land as soon as we can!

Noel: Thanks for the info. Maybe it is thinning of the lining. I guess we''ll see what happens.

Geri: Any news on your end?

Charbie: I would be ok with a not quite planned LO either. I am just trying to cut out most of the no-no foods and taking my prenatals everyday, just in case
