I think... this was meant to be shudder-inducing. And did they succed!

The designer is Tim McClelland of McTeigue & McClelland fame. I wouldn't accuse these guys of ever making something 'ugly' unintended. This one just had to be posted. And if not on this thread, where else ?

OMG, this thread is too funny...where did some of these works of...art?....come from?? Thanks for the laughs (I suppose I could post a ring that I was given by my very first boyfriend. It''s not ugly, but it''s comical. The diamond chip was so tiny that when it fell out I didn''t even notice it was gone..I had to stand under a bright light to confirm that the little black mark was actually an empty setting)..too good.

I agree, it looks like it is sneering too - very scary

Reminds me of that character in some of the Bond movies with the wired up metal teeth or whatever they were

The picture is allot funnier than the ring. The problem with those... they never stay open - it is more a gold ring with a secret than a diamond ring. Perhaps this is the ultimate shy design
