Contemplated this but I think it’s a little too small for me. Colour was mesmerising but it has no reports and the halo diamonds were too small.



Also pondered a dash of orange but again I had doubts about size.

I should be receiving my DBTY pendant set with my original engagement ring diamond tomorrow!!! Our anniversary is Saturday but we’ll be with family that so do doing presents & a nice meal tomorrow instead. Can’t wait!!

Thank you both so much!! DK did a great job with the setting and the 18k gold alloy he called “Royal” is perfect with the opal! I’m a platinum/WG fan, but this was the right color for this stone!

Thank you so much! I don’t really know much about black opals. Watched a tonne of YouTube to ascertain that it wasn’t a doublet and that was it. It’s doesn’t have the desired red and orange flashes but what it lacks in red and orange it makes up for by being super bright and lots of colour play. Most importantly my son REALLY wanted it.
